QB | Tom Brady | New England Patriots | Fantasy
New England Patriots QB Tom Brady reported for the team's training camp Sunday, July 25, reports, citing a source.

QB | Jay Cutler | Chicago Bears | Fantasy
Chicago Bears QB Jay Cutler said the new offensive system comes down to total trust, reports Neil Hayes, of The Chicago Sun-Times. "You have to trust the receivers. You have to trust the call. You have to trust the spots. If you don't, if you don't let it fly when it's supposed to, it's going to be an interception," Cutler said. "You take your seven steps, you identify the coverage and let the ball go. The receiver is supposed to be there." He admitted to struggling mightily while trying to throw to spots instead of receivers during OTAs and summer workouts. He plans to speak with retired QB Kurt Warner, who excelled in Mike Martz's system previously, to compare notes. Cutler said if a quarterback doesn't buy into Martz's system completely, he is going to struggle in it. He said players are young and eager on the Bears, so they are buying into it and seeing the benefits of it.

QB | Jimmy Clausen | Carolina Panthers | Depth Chart Tidbit
Carolina Panthers rookie QB Jimmy Clausen, a second-round draft choice, could blow his chance to start this year if he isn't signed before training camp, reports Darin Gantt, of The Charlotte Observer. His agent, Gary Wichard, said the two sides have exchanged proposals, but would not speculate on when a deal may be completed. If Clausen wants to push for a starting job, being on time to camp is crucial because any delays would be a setback that could kill his chances of unseating QB Matt Moore in the starting role.

QB | Matt Flynn | Green Bay Packers | Depth Chart Tidbit
Green Bay Packers backup QB Matt Flynn has increased his arm strength, reports Bob McGinn, of The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. The Packers seem to have no interest in adding a veteran backup to the roster, or keeping a third quarterback in the mix.

QB | Jason Campbell | Oakland Raiders | Fantasy
Oakland Raiders QB Jason Campbell will be given the benefit of the doubt by Oakland fans this year at the beginning, simply because he will be replacing QB JaMarcus Russell, who became one of the most disliked players in the history of the franchise, reports Jerry McDonald, of ANG Newspapers. However, Campbell's honeymoon will last until he fumbles a snap or forces an interception. Campbell has went through a new offense virtually every season, as his career has had a revolving door of offensive coordinators and systems. While the Raiders said the starting job was a competition, Campbell received the majority of the first-string work during the summer. The Raiders have finished near the bottom in passing the past four years, so it will be difficult for Campbell to do any worse than previous Oakland quarterbacks.

QB | Chad Henne | Miami Dolphins | Fantasy
Miami Dolphins QB Chad Henne enters training camp as the team's unquestioned starting quarterback, reports Omar Kelly, of The Sun-Sentinel. To improve this year, according to Kelly, Henne needs to improve his completion percentage (60.8), limit his turnovers (four fumbles, 14 interceptions), times sacked (26) and improve during the fourth quarter. Last year, he hit just 54.9 percent of his fourth-quarter passes, and threw half of his interceptions.

QB | Tyler Thigpen | Miami Dolphins | Depth Chart Tidbit
Miami Dolphins QBs Tyler Thigpen and Pat White will compete during training camp for the team's No. 2 quarterback duties, reports Omar Kelly, of The Sun-Sentinel. White had problems with his accuracy last year, but coaches have noted they have seen improvement during the offseason. The coaches want Thigpen to become a more traditional pocket passer during training camp, and his experience may give him the edge over White for the No. 2 role.

QB | Chase Daniel | New Orleans Saints | Depth Chart Tidbit
The New Orleans Saints have questions at backup quarterback entering training camp, reports Matt LeBlanc, of The team enters camp with QBs Chase Daniel, Sean Canfield and Greg Paulus competing for time behind starter Drew Brees.

QB | Tony Romo | Dallas Cowboys | Fantasy
Dallas Cowboys head coach Wade Phillips believes QB Tony Romo has matured and took the reins of the team last season. Phillips noted Romo also cut down on his interceptions last season, but the team helped him do it by recognizing bad things they were doing during games.

Running Back

RB | LenDale White | Free Agent | Free Agents
Free-agent RB LenDale White (Seahawks) said during a radio interview with FOX Sports radio that he has not received interest from NFL teams but hopes to continue playing in the league. "I haven't got any calls. Nobody's called me, but I'm preparing to play in the NFL and that's what I'm going to keep continuing to work on," White said. "That's the highest league that we have. I'm not taking any shots or disrespecting any other leagues, but it's the National Football League that everybody wants to play in. I'm preparing to play for a team this year in the NFL."

RB | Adrian Peterson | Minnesota Vikings | Fantasy
Minnesota Vikings RB Adrian Peterson said he will be at training camp on time and did not miss the team's minicamp in June for contract-related reasons, reports Judd Zulgad, of the Minneapolis Star Tribune. Peterson said he is sure that there have been talks of a contract extension between his agent and the team.

RB | Marion Barber III | Dallas Cowboys | Fantasy
Dallas Cowboys RB Marion Barber III is leaner in training camp this year, and it has made him a lot quicker, reports Todd Archer, of The Dallas Morning News. He had a long gain on a cut-back run during practice Sunday, July 25.

RB | Kevin Smith | Detroit Lions | Injury, Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
Detroit Lions RB Kevin Smith (knee) remains a question mark entering training camp, reports Carlos Monarrez, of The Detroit Free Press. Smith is the incumbent starting running back, so if he is ready to go medically he is going to need an outstanding training camp and preseason to hold off RB Jahvid Best, a first-round draft choice, from taking his starting job.

RB | Thomas Jones | Kansas City Chiefs | Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
The battle between Kansas City Chiefs RBs Jamaal Charles and Thomas Jones during training camp will be one of the more intriguing ones for the Chiefs, writes Adam Teicher, of The Kansas City Star. Both had over 1,000 yards rushing last year, so it will be interesting to see how much playing time each player receives. Both will have a role in the offense, but the Chiefs need to be mindful that Jones will turn 32 soon and Charles doesn't have the size to be an every-down back.

RB | Steven Jackson | St. Louis Rams | Free Agents, Fantasy
Discussions have intensified between the St. Louis Rams and free-agent WR Terrell Owens (Bills), reports ESPN's Chris Mortensen. According to sources, the Rams have asked Owens' agent, Drew Rosenhaus, if he would consider a serious offer from the team even though they are not considered a playoff contender. Rosenhaus told them Owens would definitely consider it. A formal offer for Owens is supposed to come Monday. The Rams believe Owens would help take pressure off of the team's young wide receivers, and also loosen up defenses from focusing completely on RB Steven Jackson.

RB | Lynell Hamilton | New Orleans Saints | Depth Chart Tidbit
New Orleans Saints RB Lynell Hamilton is expected to serve as the team's No. 3 running back, replacing Mike Bell, reports Matt LeBlanc, of

RB | Pierre Thomas | New Orleans Saints | Fantasy
New Orleans Saints RB Pierre Thomas said he still has room to improve and has been preparing himself to improve his pass protection, reports Alan Macey, of The SouthtownStar. He said watching how QB Drew Brees approaches the game has been beneficial to his growth as a student of the game. "My mental approach is that of patience, which is similar to how I run. I let the play unfold, see the hole and blast through it," Thomas said. He signed a one-year, $1.684 million tender earlier this year, and reports claim he and the Saints are still working on a long-term deal.

RB | Mike Hart | Indianapolis Colts | Depth Chart Tidbit
Indianapolis Colts RB Mike Hart could be pushed for a roster spot by RB Devin Moore and RB Javarris James, according to The Sports XChange.

RB | Joseph Addai | Indianapolis Colts | Fantasy
The Indianapolis Colts want to develop better balance offensively this year, and that begins with improving their running game, reports The Sports XChange. RB Joseph Addai appears to be healthy entering training camp, and second-year RB Donald Brown needs to improve after an injury-riddled rookie campaign.

RB | DeAngelo Williams | Carolina Panthers | Injury, Fantasy
Carolina Panthers RB DeAngelo Williams (ankle) appears to be fully recovered from the ankle surgery he had during the offseason, reports Darin Gantt, of the Charlotte Observer.

RB | Ryan Mathews | San Diego Chargers | Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
San Diego Chargers head coach Norv Turner said rookie RB Ryan Mathews is joining a "really talented football team" this year, reports Christopher Smith, of "It's certainly a team that doesn't have to lean on him," Turner said. "That being said, I expect Ryan to have an extremely productive season. I expect him to be a big part of our running game and he's shown that he's going to be very capable as a receiver. We felt he was the most complete back in the draft and we're going to give him an opportunity to be a factor right away." RB Darren Sproles feels the two should work well together, because Sproles is more of a slasher while Mathews has more power to his game, according to Sproles. Sproles is likely to serve as the team's third-down back this season.

Wide Receiver

WR | Chad Ochocinco | Cincinnati Bengals | Free Agents
Cincinnati Bengals WR Chad Ochocinco said via Twitter that he continues to push the team to sign free-agent WR Terrell Owens (Bills); however, the final say may be up to QB Carson Palmer, according to "I'm pushing for T.O. with the little bit of power and influence i have with our organization. That will help us tremendously as a team," Ochocinco said. "... I expressed my beliefs on why he should be here and that's all i can do, #9 has the real power."

WR | Miles Austin | Dallas Cowboys | Fantasy
Dallas Cowboys WR Miles Austin, who recorded over 1,300 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns in 2009, said he will work hard to try and have a similar campaign in 2010, according to "Statistically who knows what is going to happen, but I know my efforts are going to be the same or higher this year," Austin said.

WR | Dez Bryant | Dallas Cowboys | Free Agents
Dallas Cowboys WR Dez Bryant shunned a rookie ritual Sunday, July 25, when he refused to carry WR Roy Williams' pads back after the team's morning practice, reports The Associated Press. Veteran players traditionally hand their pads to a rookie after practice. Bryant said, "I feel like I was drafted to play football, not carry another player's pads. If I was a free agent, it would still be the same thing."

WR | Bernard Berrian | Minnesota Vikings | Injury, Fantasy
Minnesota Vikings WR Bernard Berrian (hamstring) said the hamstring injuries that bothered him last season are fine and that he is good to go, reports Judd Zulgad, of the Minneapolis Star Tribune.

WR | Nate Burleson | Detroit Lions | Fantasy
Detroit Lions WR Nate Burleson has looked every bit the part of a No. 2 complementary receiver to Calvin Johnson during the offseason, reports Carlos Monarrez, of The Detroit Free Press. He will need to avoid the injury bug and continue standing out for the team.

WR | Chris Chambers | Kansas City Chiefs | Fantasy
The Kansas City Chiefs must be concerned with WR Chris Chambers, who was far and away the team's best receiver last season after arriving mid-way through the year, reports Adam Teicher, of The Kansas City Star. Chambers will turn 32 before the season, so there has to be fear of when his play will decline.

WR | Brian Hartline | Miami Dolphins | Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
Miami Dolphins WR Brian Hartline will be given an opportunity to win a starting job during training camp, reports Armando Salguero, of The Miami Herald. With Brandon Marshall occupying one starting position, Hartline will battle with WRs Davone Bess and Greg Camarillo for the other. Salguero believes Hartline has the best intangibles when it comes to a combination of size and speed to win the job. Hartline spent time bulking up during the offseason because he wanted to add another dimension to his game instead of being a "little, quick guy."

WR | Lance Moore | New Orleans Saints | Injury, Fantasy
New Orleans Saints WR Lance Moore, who was plagued by injury problems last season, should enter training camp completely healthy, reports Matt LeBlanc, of

WR | Legedu Naanee | San Diego Chargers | Injury, Fantasy
San Diego Chargers WR Legedu Naanee (foot) completed rehab on his foot and is expected to begin training camp at full speed, reports Christopher Smith, of Naanee caught 24 passes on 29 targets last season, and his 83 percent catch was the best in the league for receivers with 25 targets or more. Head coach Norv Turner said he has improved every year.

WR | Craig Davis | San Diego Chargers | Depth Chart Tidbit
San Diego Chargers WR Craig Davis is going to push for an increased role within the offense during training camp, reports Christopher Smith, of Head coach Norv Turner said he has improved every year.

WR | Josh Reed | San Diego Chargers | Depth Chart Tidbit
San Diego Chargers WR Josh Reed will provide a reliable option out of the slot and bolster the team's depth at receiver, reports Christopher Smith, of

Tight End

TE | Rob Gronkowski | New England Patriots | Fantasy
New England Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski received a four-year, $4.4 million deal, reports Christopher Price, of

TE | Cornelius Ingram | Philadelphia Eagles | Injury
Philadelphia Eagles TE Cornelius Ingram (knee) has recovered from his second torn ACL in as many years, reports Ray FitzGerald, of The Gainesville Sun. He is not showing any signs of limps or problems due to the previous injuries. The first graft he had failed, so the second time the ACL tore he had it replaced by Dr. James Andrews, who used Ingram's patella instead of one from a cadaver.

TE | Tony Moeaki | Kansas City Chiefs | Fantasy
Kansas City Chiefs rookie TE Tony Moeaki needs to continue to provide big catches down the field during training camp and the regular season as he did during the offseason workouts, reports Adam Teicher, of The Kansas City Star. If he doesn't step up and be the pass-catching option the team needs, the tight end position will once again have limited potential.

TE | Jimmy Graham | New Orleans Saints | Fantasy
New Orleans Saints rookie TE Jimmy Graham could see a lot of playing time in the red zone this year, reports Matt LeBlanc, of

TE | Antonio Gates | San Diego Chargers | Fantasy
San Diego Chargers TE Antonio Gates is entering the final year of his contract, reports Kevin Acee, of The San Diego Union-Tribune. Gates is at the top of the line to receive a long-term deal, but with the labor climate uncertain, the Chargers are not currently extending any contracts.

Offensive Tackle

OT | Marcus McNeill | San Diego Chargers | Free Agents
The San Diego Chargers remain in limbo regarding OT Marcus McNeill, who remains away from the team because of his unwillingness to sign his one-year tender offer, reports Kevin Acee, of The San Diego Union-Tribune. The Chargers are not going to pony up more money, and general manager A.J. Smith said the team stands the same as they have and believes all parties involved understand each other's position. He said he is hopeful that McNeill will return for at least the last six games, noting that is still a lot of football to play with a Pro Bowl-talented player during the stretch run. The Chargers are unlikely to deal McNeill, as Smith would like to sign him to a long-term deal at some point. The Chargers still have an option of placing him on the Roster Exempt List. In order to do so, they would have to notify him at least five days before the second preseason game of their intention. If the player does not report before the second preseason game, he would miss three games following his signing. The Chargers could use this as a means to get McNeill signed and reporting with nine games to go rather than six; but it could also prompt him to sit out the whole season.

OG | Nate Garner | Miami Dolphins | Depth Chart Tidbit
Miami Dolphins G Nate Garner will be given an opportunity to win a starting job during training camp, reports Armando Salguero, of The Miami Herald. The starting right guard he played at the end of last year is expected to be taken over by G Richie Incognito, but the starting left guard position is wide open, as Garner, Donald Thomas and rookie John Jerry are in the mix.

Offensive Line

OL | Ryan Harris | Denver Broncos | Injury

It is believed Kindle fell down two flights of stairs. He is in stable condition, and members of the team's medical staff are in communication with doctors at University Medical Center Brackenridge. Kindle will not report with the team's other rookies when training camp starts.

LB | Michael Johnson | Cincinnati Bengals | Depth Chart Tidbit
Cincinnati Bengals LB Michael Johnson could see some time as a down lineman in third-down situations, reports Joe Reedy, of The Cincinnati Enquirer. He has the size and speed necessary at outside linebacker and could be a force on third downs.

LB | Derrick Johnson | Kansas City Chiefs | Depth Chart Tidbit
Kansas City Chiefs LB Derrick Johnson may beat out LBs Corey Mays or Demorrio Williams for a starting job at inside linebacker during training camp, or he may only be used in passing situations like he was last year, reports Adam Teicher, of The Kansas City Star. The team needs him to make more big plays this season.

LB | Clint Ingram | New Orleans Saints | Depth Chart Tidbit
The New Orleans Saints could use a committee approach at replacing LB Scott Fujita on the outside this year, reports Matt LeBlanc, of LBs Clint Ingram, Jolonn Dunbar and Jonathan Casillas could all see playing time.

LB | Shawne Merriman | San Diego Chargers | Injury, Free Agents

Merriman avoided the Chargers most of the offseason and did not participate in minicamp or coaching sessions. Sources have said the Chargers and Merriman are in the preliminary stages of discussing his signing of his one-year, $3.269 million tender. Merriman needs to get back on the field and show the team he has returned to his pre-injury explosiveness.

CB | Orlando Scandrick | Dallas Cowboys | Injury

CB | Sheldon Brown | Cleveland Browns | Depth Chart Tidbit
The Cleveland Browns have a battle brewing at cornerback, as Sheldon Brown, Eric Wright and rookie Joe Haden are in the mix for playing time, reports Nate Ulrich, of The Akron Beacon Journal. Brown should lock up one starting corner spot, and regardless of who starts at the other all three corners should see plenty of playing time.

CB | Jason McCourty | Tennessee Titans | Depth Chart Tidbit

The New Orleans Saints are planning to limit S Darren Sharper (knee) during training camp, reports Dan Pompei, of The team is intending to have him practice once a day, and to keep him off artificial surfaces as much as possible early on.
