Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger took part in the team's practice Tuesday, Oct. 5, reports John Harris, of The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. His first pass was a long strike to WR Mike Wallace. Roethlisberger said he wasn't worried about his arm strength going into the day; he was more worried about timing with his receivers. He apologized to them for having to spend time working with him, but he said it was important to start picking up timing with the wideouts. "I don't think it will take as long as I thought," he said. RB | Ryan Torain | Washington Redskins | Injury, Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
It appears the Washington Redskins will have RB Ryan Torain, who has just one career start under his belt, as the team's starting tailback during Week 5, reports Jason Reid, of The Washington Post. Torain spent the first two weeks of the season on the team's practice squad, but has quickly shouldered more responsibility in the last two games.

RB | Larry Johnson | Free Agent | Fantasy
The Washington Redskins could look to re-sign RBs Larry Johnson or Willie Parker, reports Jason Reid, of The Washington Post. The Redskins are thin at running back currently due to a groin injury sidelining RB Clinton Portis.

He was going good, and Ryan gave them a little changeup." Mathews wore a protective pad on his elbow from a fall he suffered in practice last week. "It is my (third) game," Mathews said. "I've still got a lot to learn. The more experience you get, the better you get. You can tell a guy like Gates, he's awesome, all those catches like it's nothing. It's because he knows the game so well."

RB | Felix Jones | Dallas Cowboys | Fantasy
Dallas Cowboys head coach Wade Phillips and owner Jerry Jones indicated that the team plans to use RB Felix Jones more often in the near future, according to DallasCowboys.com's Rob Phillips. "Everyone is in unanimous agreement with the staff, scouts, everybody involved that Felix needs to touch the ball more," Jones said. "He's just too much of a threat and that was our intention in preseason coming out, no matter whether he's certainly getting a chance in the running game but the passing game as well."

Wide Receiver

WR | Randy Moss | Minnesota Vikings | Fantasy

WR | Santonio Holmes | New York Jets | Fantasy
New York Jets WR Santonio Holmes returned to the team Monday, Oct. 4, following his four-week suspension, according to ESPNNewYork.com's Rich Cimini. Holmes will make his season debut against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 5. His return will mean less playing time for WR Brad Smith. Holmes will initially be used as a No. 3 receiver.

Tight End

TE | Aaron Hernandez | New England Patriots | Fantasy
If the New England Patriots trade WR Randy Moss to the Minnesota Vikings, they would create a huge void at receiver, reports Mike Reiss, of ESPNBoston.com. Moss has played in 196 out of 248 snaps for the team this year and there isn't another player on the team's roster who could step in and fill that role while also constantly threatening defenses deep. The offense, however, has morphed this year, as it is now more of a tight end-based attack. From 2007-09, the Patriots ran the majority of their snaps out of a three-receiver set. This year, however, they have run with three-receiver sets on just 36.2 percent of their plays while running with multiple tight ends 64.5 percent of the time. TEs Alge Crumpler, Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez have opened up new options for the offense.
