Seattle Seahawks QB Matt Hasselbeck (head) suffered a head injury late in the team's Week 8 game and was replaced by QB Charlie Whitehurst in the final series, reports Eric Williams, of The Tacoma News Tribune.

Minnesota Vikings WR Percy Harvin's (ankle) left ankle injury appears to be serious, according to Jeremy Fowler, of the St. Paul Pioneer Press. Harvin will have the ankle examined Monday, Nov. 1. Harvin twisted his left ankle in the first quarter of Week 8 and had to be helped off the field by the medical staff. He taped it up and was able to return, ultimately catching six passes for 104 yards. However, Harvin was limping severely in the locker room after the game and expects to be even sorer. "It's hurting pretty bad and it probably was adrenaline that got me through," Harvin said. "I couldn't do much but I was able to fight through it. Go and see the trainer's (today) and we'll know then."

X-rays on Oakland Raiders CB Nnamdi Asomugha's (ankle) injured ankle were negative, according to head coach Tom Cable, reports Jerry McDonald, of ANG Newspapers. Based on how the injury looked, it would be a surprise at this point if Asomugha would be ready to play in Week 9.

New Orleans Saints CB Patrick Robinson (ankle) suffered an ankle injury in the team's Week 8 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers but is probable to return, reports Jeff Duncan, of the New Orleans Times-Picayune.

Washington Redskins SS Chris Horton (ankle) suffered an ankle injury in Week 8 against the Detroit Lions and is questionable to return to the game, according to Redskins.com's Matt Terl.


Free Safety
