"I don't think he'll do much this week," head coach Jeff Fisher said. "But I'd say he's got a chance to get back on the field next week, so we'll see how he is after the bye.''

Seattle Seahawks QB Matt Hasselbeck (concussion) is expected to play in the team's Week 9 game, according to Danny O'Neil, of The Seattle Times. "It sounds like it was pretty slight conditions that should be OK," head coach Pete Carroll said of Hasselbeck. However, he acknowledged that he's not a lock to play this week and said his foot was slightly sore after running pass patterns Monday, Nov. 1. "It will probably be a game-time decision," Stallworth said. "As of right now, it's still going to be a little sore after practicing today. It's a little sore right now. The main thing is making sure I get treatment on it and do what I'm supposed to be doing."

San Diego Chargers LB Shawne Merriman (calf) is scheduled to take a formality physical with the team Tuesday, Nov. 2, and provided he passes for his injured calf will be waived by team, according to Jay Glazer, of FOXSports.com. Merriman was placed on special Injured Reserve list earlier this season that called for the team to release him upon him passing a physical. If he fails it then he'll remain with the Chargers until he can pass a physical.

San Diego Chargers LB Kevin Burnett (shoulder) suffered a shoulder in the team's Week 8 game, according to The Associated Press' Bernie Wilson.


Cornerback

CB | Nnamdi Asomugha | Oakland Raiders | Injury
An MRI performed on Oakland Raiders CB Nnamdi Asomugha's (ankle) right ankle Monday, Nov. 1, revealed a sprain, head coach Tom Cable said, reports Steve Corkran, of the Oakland Tribune. The team will not know more until Wednesday, Nov. 3, how severe the sprain is. Cable added that there's a possibility Asomugha will play in Week 9. "It just appears to be an ankle sprain," Cable said.

CB | Patrick Lee | Green Bay Packers | Injury
Updating a previous report, Green Bay Packers CB Patrick Lee (ankle) suffered an ankle injury in Week 8 but X-rays on the ankle were negative, according to Tom Silverstein, of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.


Strong Safety

SS | James Butler | St. Louis Rams | Injury
St. Louis Rams FS James Butler (ankle) is believed to have a high ankle sprain and will undergo an MRI Monday, Nov. 1, according to StLouisRams.com.
