Alabama QB Greg McElroy (hand) cracked a bone in his throwing hand during the Senior Bowl and is expected to miss about two weeks of throwing, according to the Birmingham Press-Register. McElroy completed a pass on the first play of the fourth quarter, but hit his right hand on a helmet on the follow-through. He completed the series, but did not come back into the game. "I had no feeling the rest of the series," McElroy said. "The ball was kind of sporadic. I couldn't get a grip on the ball. I still can't get a grip on the ball. I think it will be OK."

University of Texas DE Sam Acho said he would be willing to play outside linebacker if he is drafted by a team that uses the 3-4 defensive alignment, reports Chris Brown, of BuffaloBills.com. "I am prepared to switch to a stand up linebacker position," said Acho. "There are a lot of 4-3 and 3-4 teams in the league so depending on which team picks me I may have to make that transition and I played that position my first two years at Texas, so I'm comfortable with it."
