Zampese met with Devlin before the workout to go over plays and formations.

Purdue RB Dan Dierking measured 5-foot-9 1/4, 194 pounds at his Pro Day Friday, March 11, reports Gil Brandt, of NFL.com. He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.53 seconds and 4.55 seconds, the short shuttle in 4.19 seconds and the three-cone drill in 6.84 seconds. He measured a 33-inch vertical jump, a 9-foot-6 broad jump and completed 31 repetitions on the 225-pound bench press.

Norfolk State RB DeAngelo Branche ran the 40-yard dash in 4.48 seconds at his Pro Day. He measured a 36-inch vertical jump, a 10-foot-1 broad jump and completed 15 repetitions on the 225-pound bench press.

Free-agent WR Randy Moss (Titans) mentioned the Cleveland Browns as a possible landing spot during a radio interview Wednesday, March 16, reports Brady Henderson, of MyNorthwest.com. He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.85 seconds and 4.83 seconds, the short shuttle in 4.35 seconds and the three-cone drill in 7.10 seconds. He measured a 33-inch vertical jump, a 10-foot-2 broad jump and completed 24 repetitions on the 225-pound bench press.


Offensive Tackle

Wisconsin OT Gabe Carimi had a pre-NFL Draft visit with the Buffalo Bills Tuesday, March 15, according to BuffaloBills.com. Carimi could be an option for the Bills if the team decides to trade down in the first round, or if he falls to the second round.

Reed is drawing comparisons to Packers LB Clay Matthews.

Clemson DL Da'Quan Bowers' (knee) "knee is great," according to a league source with knowledge of the situation, reports Aaron Wilson, of NationalFootballPost.com. Per the source, Bowers has recovered from his surgery to repair a partially torn lateral meniscus from January and is set to perform at his April 1 Pro Day campus workout. "All is good," the source said. "Is and has been training without limitation for a long time now." Bowers did not work out at the NFL Scouting Combine other than the bench press.

Kansas LB Justin Springer (knee) worked out on campus for 20 NFL teams Wednesday, March 16, and measured 6-foot-3, 238 pounds. He put up 26 repetitions on the 225-pound bench press, a broad jump of 9-feet, a vertical of 29 1/2 inches and ran the 40-yard dash in 4.81 seconds but was unable to run it a second time due to a minor knee strain. He is expected to work out again in the first week of April.

The Tennessee Titans are scheduled to meet with Texas A&M LB Von Miller before the 2011 NFL Draft, a source told Jason La Canfora, of NFL Network.

Norfolk State DB Dante Barnes ran the 40-yard dash in 4.37 seconds at his Pro Day. He also ran the short shuttle in 4.34 seconds and the three-cone drill in 6.88 seconds. He measured a 44 1/2-inch vertical jump, a 10-foot-6 broad jump and completed 12 repetitions on the 225-pound bench press.
