Quarterback

QB | Jordan Palmer | Cincinnati Bengals | Free Agents
Cincinnati Bengals impending free-agent LB Dhani Jones said that QB Jordan Palmer is not ready to step in as a starter if QB Andy Dalton isn't able to handle being under center immediately in his first year in the NFL. "Jordan Palmer's not the answer, absolutely not," Jones said. Asked what he would think of Jordan Palmer starting, Jones replied: "I would question the decision, absolutely."

QB | Matthew Stafford | Detroit Lions | Injury
Detroit Lions WR Bryant Johnson said that QB Matthew Stafford (shoulder) has looked very good during player-organized workouts this offseason. "Matt looks good," Johnson said. "He had the shoulder problem and he says the shoulder feels 100 percent. He was looking good during the team workout."

Running Back

RB | Ricky Williams | Miami Dolphins | Free Agents
Miami Dolphins RB Ricky Williams said he is looking forward to free agency because it is something he has been waiting for, he said, recently, since 1999 and he's anxious to find which teams might suit him, and vice versa, on the open market. However, Williams added he would still like to remain in Miami. "I mean, really, I have no idea. I feel like I'm in a good position. I feel like if I stay here, it'll be good for me, it'll be good for my family," Williams said. "I feel like if I go somewhere else, it'll be good it'll be good for my family. So you know, I think in my position I think the extended off-season has been good for me because I've been waiting since 1999 to be a free agent. So it's been nice to enjoy these past couple months and the fun part, when we see who's offering what and what's the best situation for me, I'm looking forward to it and I think it's going to be a good experience."

Wide Receiver

WR | T.J. Houshmandzadeh | Baltimore Ravens | Free Agents
Baltimore Ravens impending free-agent WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh said he believes he can shock some people with his play this season if he signs with the right team. "The last two years have been the most disappointing years I've had. I know people will say I can't play no more. If I get to the right team, I'll shock a lot of people," Houshmandzadeh said.

WR | Marcus Easley | Buffalo Bills | Injury
Buffalo Bills WR Marcus Easley indicated the knee injury he suffered during training camp last season has been fully healed since December. Wide receivers coach Stan Dixon said he is expected to see what Easley can do when he is healthy.

WR | Michael Crabtree | San Francisco 49ers | Injury, Fantasy
San Francisco 49ers WR Michael Crabtree (foot) did not run routes during the player-organized workout Wednesday, June 29, but did follow the workout with the scripted plays in hand.

WR | Deon Butler | Seattle Seahawks | Injury
Seattle Seahawks WR Deon Butler (leg) appears to be healed from the broken leg he suffered in December and has been able to run some routes recently. Butler indicated that he is probably not at the speed he was before the injury.
