Houston Texans impending free-agent FB Vonta Leach said he would be interested in joining the New York Giants, Seattle Seahawks and San Diego Chargers if he did not re-sign with the Texans.

Wide Receiver

WR | Bernard Berrian | Minnesota Vikings | Transaction, Fantasy

WR | Steve Breaston | Free Agent | Injury, Free Agents, Fantasy
Free-agent-to-be WR Steve Breaston (Cardinals) (knee) is open to a return to the Arizona Cardinals. "I enjoy playing in Arizona, I enjoy it a lot," Breaston said in a radio interview Wednesday, July 20. "I enjoy my teammates and I like living out there. I want to be there. There were a lot of issues about my knee, but I know I will be ready for the season."

Offensive Tackle

OT | Mark Tauscher | Green Bay Packers | Transaction
The Green Bay Packers might released OT Mark Tauscher to free up $4.581 million heading into the 2011 season.

OT | Shawn Andrews | New York Giants | Transaction
New York Giants OG Shawn Andrews might be released when the NFL lockout is lifted, a move that would save $7.333 million for a team which is currently $11M over the cap.

OT | Jeff Backus | Detroit Lions | Injury
Detroit Lions OT Jeff Backus (pectoral) may not be ready for the start of training camp after recently suffering a pectoral injury, which is believed to be a partially torn muscle. A team source said the injury is not serious.

OT | Ryan Harris | Free Agent | Free Agents
Denver Broncos impending free-agent OT Ryan Harris said he would be interested in signing with the Washington Redskins and reunite with former head coach Mike Shanahan.

DL | Justin Bannan | Free Agent | Free Agents
The Denver Broncos are hoping that they will be able to re-sign free-agent DLs Jamal Williams and Justin Bannan once the lockout is over. The team released both players before the lockout started.

Linebacker

LB | Keith Bulluck | Free Agent | Free Agents
The Detroit Lions could look to target free-agent LB Keith Bulluck (Giants). Bulluck has ties to head coach Jim Schwartz during their days together with the Tennessee Titans. The Lions are a team Bulluck would consider playing for.

LB | Nick Barnett | Green Bay Packers | Transaction
The Green Bay Packers are likely to either release or trade LB Nick Barnett, a move which would save the team $4.2 million against the salary cap.

LB | Joey Porter | Arizona Cardinals | Transaction
The Arizona Cardinals might released LB Joey Porter in 2011, a move that would save the team $4.66 million if he's cut.

Cornerback

CB | Nnamdi Asomugha | Free Agent | Free Agents
Although the thought of free-agent CB Nnamdi Asomugha (Raiders) teaming up with Philadelphia Eagles CB Asante Samuel is certainly intriguing, it is not sensible for the team to sign Asomugha from a philosophical or schematic standpoint. The Eagles traditionally give out big deals to young players approaching their primes, and Asomugha's age (30) makes it very likely he is on the backside of his career. Also, the Eagles are reportedly moving away from the blitz-happy approach of former defensive coordinator Jim Johnson in favor of more zone-based coverage. Given Asomugha's reputation as a man-to-man defender, it doesn't make sense to join a team that will not play to his strengths.

CB | Nate Clements | San Francisco 49ers | Transaction
The San Francisco 49ers might release CB Nate Clements when the NFL lockout is lifted. Such a move would save them $14 million, as his cap number stands at $17.36 million for 2011. If he stays, he almost certainly will take a pay cut.

CB | Chris Carr | Free Agent | Free Agents
Free-agent CB Chris Carr (Ravens) said he would want a big role on defense if he re-signs with the Baltimore Ravens and does not want to return as a backup. "If they see me having a big role, then I'm going to want to come back here. If not, then no because I feel like every year of my career I've gotten better and I'm only going to get better. I don't want to be pigeonholed as a backup because I'm not a backup. I'm better than a lot of corners in this league. If they want me to play a big role, then, yes, I definitely want to come back, but if they don't and another team wants me to play a big role then I'll probably go someplace else," Carr said. He said no Ravens coach has asked him to play safety.

Free Safety

FS | Ed Reed | Baltimore Ravens | Injury
Baltimore Ravens FS Ed Reed (hip, neck) said he is feeling good after dealing with a hip injury last season which made him start the season on the Physically Unable to Perform list. Reed said he is still affected by the nerve impingement in his neck and shoulder but will not have surgery while he is playing because he is worried that it would weaken him.

FS | Eric Weddle | Free Agent | Free Agents
The San Diego Chargers are expected to see re-signing impending free-agent FS Eric Weddle as one of their priorities once the lockout is over.
