The St. Louis Rams claimed Tuesday, Sept. 20, that New York Giants defenders apparently feigning injury to disrupt their offensive tempo. Head coach Steve Spagnuolo said the team has notified the league office. "That'll go on the list of things we're going to send in," Spagnuolo said. "I think the league is looking into it. I'll let it run its course from that point of view."

QB | Ryan Fitzpatrick | Buffalo Bills | Fantasy
According to a league source, the Buffalo Bills offered QB Ryan Fitzpatrick a contract extension before the Week 2 game against the Oakland Raiders. Terms of the deal are undisclosed. RB | Darren McFadden | Oakland Raiders | Fantasy
Oakland Raiders RB Darren McFadden has carried the ball 20-plus times in both weeks this season, marking the first time he has done that in back-to-back games in his career. This could be a sign that the team is ready to rely on him heavily.

RB | Ray Rice | Baltimore Ravens | Fantasy
Baltimore Ravens RB Ray Rice has never had back-to-back 100-yard rushing games in his career. In Week 1 he surpassed the 100-yard mark, but in Week 2 he put up just 43 yards.

RB | Montario Hardesty | Cleveland Browns | Fantasy
Cleveland Browns head coach Pat Shurmur indicated Tuesday, Sept. 20, that he wants to get RB Montario Hardesty involved more in the game, especially to lighten the load of RB Peyton Hillis. "This is something I need to do a better job of," head coach Pat Shurmur said. "I wanted to get (Hardesty) in the game at some point, (but) I wish we could have got him in the game sooner because he needs to play. Peyton (Hillis) is a bruising-style runner that needs a little bit of relief at times, and I think that's what we'll try to do a better job of next time."

Tennessee Titans RB Chris Johnson, dating back to last year, has had four regular-season games with 58 yards or fewer. That is the longest streak of his career with yardage totals so low. The Titans gave Johnson his carries against the Baltimore Ravens and forced Baltimore to stop him in Week 2. Prevailing wisdom is that Johnson will simply need more time due to his holdout in training camp. How much time it will take is what remains the big question.

OT | Gabe Carimi | Chicago Bears | Injury
Updating a previous item, Chicago Bears OT Gabe Carimi (knee) was diagnosed with a subluxation of his knee, which is a partial dislocation and is less severe than originally believed. There is no timetable for his recovery. Carimi reportedly did not suffer any ligament damage to his knee and isn't expected to miss the rest of the year. Normal recovery time for such an injury is four to six weeks. "Usually you can start rehabbing it pretty close to right away," orthopedic surgeon Scott Kaar said. "There's a couple of caveats. Sometimes when a patella subluxes or dislocates, a piece of cartilage can get knocked off and you can get like a floater in the knee. That's pretty rare. But when that happens then someone usually needs surgery to take it out."
