WR | DeSean Jackson | Free Agent | Free Agents
The Philadelphia Eagles could place the franchise tag on impending free-agent WR DeSean Jackson and then begin to explore trade options. Guard

OG | Kris Dielman | San Diego Chargers | Injury
San Diego Chargers OG Kris Dielman (concussion) is leaning toward returning after suffering a scary concussion in 2011, according to those close to him and team sources. If he elects to retire, his possible departure would free up $5.5 million in salary cap space, although that's money the team will happily pay to keep Dielman.

Defensive Line

DL | Jeremy Mincey | Jacksonville Jaguars | Draft
The Jacksonville Jaguars have improved their sack total in each of the first two seasons under defensive line coach Joe Cullen. The defensive line was responsible for 20 1/2 of the 31 sacks by the team's defense in 2011. A franchise-record 16 different players combined for the team's 31 sacks in 2011, while only nine players were credited with a sack in 2010. His eight sacks were the most since DL Bobby McCray posted 10 sacks in 2006.

The San Francisco 49ers might bring back SS Madieu Williams at the right price. He is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent March 13.

SS | Dashon Goldson | Free Agent | Free Agents
San Francisco 49ers SS Dashon Goldson is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent March 13, but the team has a heavy interest in bringing him back. He emerged as one of the top safeties in the league, posting six interceptions while making the Pro Bowl at age 27. The team has leverage in the case, as Goldson can either sign a five-year deal similar to one previously offered by Goldson and his agent last year, or they can place the franchise tag on him for 2012. The team might do that as early as Feb. 20.
