Quarterback

QB | Robert Griffin III | NFL Draft Prospect | Draft
The Cleveland Browns have the No. 4 overall pick in the NFL Draft; however, that likely won't be high enough to draft Baylor QB Robert Griffin III if they're interested. The Browns must trade up to the No. 2 overall pick if they want to select Griffin. And, if Cleveland doesn't do it, another team is expected to leapfrog the Browns for Griffin.

QB | Matt Schaub | Houston Texans | Draft, Free Agents, Fantasy
The Houston Texans could feature more two-tight end sets in 2012. TE Owen Daniels and impending free-agent TE Joel Dreessen combined for 82 receptions, 1,113 yards and nine touchdowns last season. They could top those numbers in 2012 with a healthy return of QB Matt Schaub (foot).

QB | Christian Ponder | Minnesota Vikings | Draft
Minnesota Vikings general manager Rick Spielman said the team remains very confident in QB Christian Ponder; however, he would not rule out selecting a quarterback prospect with the No. 3 overall pick in the NFL Draft. But we're very, very confident in what Christian Ponder brings," Spielman said.

QB | Andrew Luck | NFL Draft Prospect | Draft

Free-agent RB Clinton Portis (Redskins) said that he has his passion back for football after being "heartbroken" following his release from the Washington Redskins. Portis sat out the 2011 season. "I'm ready to go back, ready to work things out and I'm open to idea of going out to prove that I can still play," Portis said. "I just turned 30 and with nine years in the NFL and six 1,000-yard seasons that's enough right there to show what I can do. I'm just ready to go prove to whatever team that's ready and willing to open the doors to go out and prove it."

Fullback

FB | James Casey | Houston Texans | Free Agents
If Houston Texans impending free-agent TE Joel Dreessen departs in the offseason, it could mean a big lift for FB James Casey. Casey, who spent most of 2011 at fullback after being converted to the position during training camp, caught 18 passes last season. Moving Casey back to his original position and pairing him with TE Owen Daniels would give the Texans two downfield threats at the position.

Wide Receiver

WR | Johnny Knox | Chicago Bears | Injury
Chicago Bears LS Patrick Mannelly (knee) said he, OT Gabe Carimi (knee) and WR Johnny Knox (back) have been rehabbing at the team's facility every day this offseason. Mannelly hopes to be snapping by the spring but is not sure if he will be medically cleared to practice.
