Quarterback

QB | Ryan Tannehill | NFL Draft Prospect | Draft
If the Miami Dolphins do not select Texas A&M QB Ryan Tannehill with the No. 8 overall pick in the NFL Draft, he could go to either a trade-up team with the Kansas City Chiefs at No. 11 or the Seattle Seahawks at No. 12.

Wide Receiver

WR | Justin Blackmon | NFL Draft Prospect | Draft
The St. Louis Rams worked out Oklahoma State WR Justin Blackmon and Notre Dame WR Michael Floyd last week. The Rams wanted to see each player up close and personal one last time before setting their draft board with finality. It appears the team liked both, but likely will take Blackmon with the No. 6 overall pick in the NFL Draft, unless Alabama RB Trent Richardson is still on the board.

Indianapolis Colts WR Reggie Wayne was a surprise participant at the team's offseason conditioning program. He normally spends his offseason training at the University of Miami, but is in Indianapolis this week. "Right now this playbook is Greek to me and I don't speak Greek," Wayne said. "I've got to be here to figure it out. The faster I can learn it, the earlier I feel I can leave."

WR | Jerome Simpson | Free Agent | Free Agents
Minnesota Vikings general manager Rick Spielman said the team is still deciding whether or not to sign free-agent WR Jerome Simpson (Bengals). He said he has spoken to a lot of people around the NFL about Simpson.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are scheduled to work out Indiana State WR Justin Hilton in the near future.

WR | Mike Wallace | Pittsburgh Steelers | Free Agents, Fantasy

Offensive Tackle

The Green Bay Packers will release OT Chad Clifton (back) Monday, April 23, after he failed a physical. It is uncertain if Clifton will play again after having back surgery in the offseason.

OT | Matt Kalil | NFL Draft Prospect | Draft
Minnesota Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier said left tackles like Southern California OT Matt Kalil are not the game-changers that teams are expected to choose so early in the NFL Draft. "You've got to really weigh your options," Frazier said. "Because the philosophy (in the NFL) has always been to get the game-changer. And left tackle is not necessarily the game-changer. Usually game-changers are the guys who can score you points. Receivers. Quarterbacks. So what are we measuring that left tackle against? It's a loaded debate."

OT | Johnny Culbreath | Detroit Lions | Fantasy
Detroit Lions head coach Jim Schwartz would not say Sunday, April 22, whether he has spoken with OT Johnny Culbreath, DL Nick Fairley or RB Mikel Leshoure, three players arrested and cited for possession of marijuana in the past three months. Battling an Achilles' problem since 2009, Merriman shut his 2011 season down after just five games. It was decided that surgery would be needed. "Obviously I was disappointed because I didn't finish the season and I wasn't out there helping the guys on the field," Merriman said. "I feel great now. Obviously I'm still in a bit of rehab process with slight limitations. For the most part though, I feel great."

LB | Anthony Spencer | Dallas Cowboys | Free Agents
The Dallas Cowboys have not offered a multi-year deal to franchise free-agent LB Anthony Spencer at this point. The team met with Spencer's agent last week and went over several proposals.
