Updating a previous item, Denver Broncos QB Peyton Manning's velocity on deep throws hasn't quite returned after multiple neck surgeries cost him all of the 2011 season, but he does look sharp and accurate with intermediate throws.

Green Bay Packers QB Graham Harrell has shown decent velocity on his throws during workouts, and it appears he is in line to serve as the primary backup to QB Aaron Rodgers. There has been no indication the team plans to consider other alternatives to serve in the No. 2 role. "(Harrell's) on track to be a darn good quarterback," quarterbacks coach Ben McAdoo said Tuesday, June 12.

Oakland Raiders WR Denarius Moore (hamstring) suffered what appeared to be a right hamstring injury during practice Tuesday, June 12, although head coach Dennis Allen didn't seem overly concerned. "He's going to be fine," Allen said. "We'll evaluate it. Usually those things take a couple of weeks or so, so we'll see where he's at."

Dallas Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones said he considers free-agent WR Terrell Owens (Bengals) a friend; however, he does not have a spot for him on his roster. "First of all, he really can reach out to me at any time, because I consider him a friend," Jones said. "We would feel good if he reached out. I think that he really, without having first-hand knowledge of what kind of physical condition he is in, I know he has the right stuff and could help someone." Jones, however, said that team won't be the Cowboys. "Again, we are not planning on doing anything at receiver," Jones said.

WRs Jeremy Kerley, Patrick Turner, Chaz Schilens and Stephen Hill are also nursing hamstring injuries. Hill didn't practice at all Tuesday.

Oakland Raiders DL Matt Shaughnessy (shoulder) took part in practice Tuesday, June 12. Shaughnessy hurt his shoulder early in the 2011 season and underwent surgery, missing the final 13 games. "I'm full-go now," Shaughnessy said. "If there was a game on Sunday, I'd play."

CB | Charles Woodson | Green Bay Packers | Fantasy
Green Bay Packers CB Charles Woodson is not likely to be making a full-time switch to safety for the upcoming season. Head coach Mike McCarthy did say Woodson's role in the defense is likely to change; however, McCarthy didn't provide specifics and estimated that any change would be a small one. "Charles' role on our football team may change somewhere between six and eight percent compared to where he's played in the past," McCarthy said. "I don't want to really get too detailed schematically. Really, it's something we should watch and see - and let our opponents see. We're not recreating the wheel with him, that's for sure. I would define him as a playmaker in our defense. And it's our responsibility to make sure he's lined up in those positions to make plays."

CB | Carlos Rogers | San Francisco 49ers | Injury
San Francisco 49ers CBs Curtis Holcomb (undisclosed) and Carlos Rogers (calf) were each able to return to practice Tuesday, June 12. Rogers had been sidelined due to a calf strain.

CB | Mike Jenkins | Dallas Cowboys | Injury
Updating a previous report, Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett said Tuesday, June 12, that he is uncertain if CB Mike Jenkins (shoulder) will be ready when training camp starts. His rehab from shoulder surgery has been slower than some of his teammates. "I can't make that judgment," Garrett said. "He has a long way to go. He has a serious injury."

CB | Leon Hall | Cincinnati Bengals | Injury
Cincinnati Bengals CB Leon Hall (Achilles') said he is ahead of schedule in his rehab, and he's hoping to be ready for training camp at the end of July. He's being limited to side work during minicamp this week after tearing his Achilles' Nov. 13 of last season. Hall has been running forward and backward without incident.
