Quarterback

QB | Graham Harrell | Green Bay Packers | Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
All signs point to the Green Bay Packers using QB Graham Harrell as their backup to starter QB Aaron Rodgers. Harrell has spent the past two seasons on the team's 53-man roster or practice squad, and he has went through a full offseason in head coach Mike McCarthy's quarterback school, which emphasizes improving strength and skill.

Running Back

RB | Stevan Ridley | New England Patriots | Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
The New England Patriots must rely on their running game this season to complement the passing attack. However, it is still very uncertain who will carry the load heading into training camp. RBs Joseph Addai, Stevan Ridley, Shane Vereen and Danny Woodhead combine for nine career starts for the Patriots. None have stood out on their own in offseason workouts, and the team might be hoping for strength by committee. "We're not really focused on who's going to be the guy or anything like that; we're just trying to help each other out and learn together," Ridley said. "One person is not going to get it done all the way through the season and we know that, so we have to be able to depend on everybody."

RB | Brandon Saine | Green Bay Packers | Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
Green Bay Packers RB Brandon Saine did well in spot duty last season when called upon, but he still has work to do to become a regular productive player. As it stands, he might only serve as the No. 2 RB until RB Alex Green (knee) is regular for a full-time workload.

RB | Rashad Jennings | Jacksonville Jaguars | Transaction, Depth Chart Tidbit
The Jacksonville Jaguars used RB Deji Karim on kickoff returns last season, but he was released in the offseason. That means the team is looking for a return man, and WR Kevin Elliott, RB DuJuan Harris, RB Rashad Jennings, RB Jalen Parmele and WR Chastin West are among the candidates who are likely to get a look in the preseason.

RB | Steven Jackson | St. Louis Rams | Fantasy
St. Louis Rams RB Steven Jackson realizes time is running out on his football career and he no longer in the mood for long-term rebuilding. He wants to win now and hopes the team's offseason changes will help them turn their record around.

RB | Ahmad Bradshaw | New York Giants | Injury, Fantasy
New York Giants RB Ahmad Bradshaw (foot) said he was felling great following the team's recent minicamp. While Bradshaw was limited, he said it was mostly precautionary.

RB | LaDainian Tomlinson | Retired | Free Agents, Fantasy
LaDainian Tomlinson (Jets), an unrestricted free agent, will sign with the San Diego Chargers Monday, June 18, and announce his retirement from the NFL.

Tomlinson, 32, ranks fifth all time with 13,684 yards rushing and second with 145 rushing touchdowns. The 2006 NFL MVP scored 162 total touchdowns during his career, which ranks third all-time. He won the rushing title in 2006 and '07.

Fullback

FB | Tony Fiammetta | New England Patriots | Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
New England Patriots FBs Tony Fiammetta and Spencer Larsen will likely be battling for one fullback position in training camp. The position might be used a little more this season in terms of touches because of the uncertainty at the tailback position.

FB | John Kuhn | Green Bay Packers | Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
Green Bay Packers FB John Kuhn has showed ability in one-back sets last season as a ball carrier. He and backup FB Nicholas Cooper were primary ball carriers at a lower level in college. That position appears to be set going forward.

Wide Receiver

WR | Dez Bryant | Dallas Cowboys | Fantasy
Dallas Cowboys WR Dez Bryant has pleased the team's front office with his improved conditioning and production during organized team activities and minicamp.

WR | Mike Wallace | Pittsburgh Steelers | Free Agents
Pittsburgh Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert said the team never gave any real consideration to dropping the tender offer for restricted free-agent WR Mike Wallace. "When we tendered Mike at the amount we did, the compensation through that tender, we really had no issue with that whatsoever because he is deserving of that," Colbert said. The team still believes they can reach a long-term deal with Wallace. "We want him to get a long-term deal that he deserves and I am real confident that we will be able to do that because when both sides want the same thing, it is only a matter of time," Colbert said.

WR | Braylon Edwards | Free Agent | Free Agents
The New York Jets are not interested in free-agent WR Braylon Edwards (49ers). The team wanted to see how their wide receiver group looked in organized team activities and minicamp before potentially signing Edwards; however, coaches liked what they saw.

WR | Joshua Cribbs | Cleveland Browns | Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
Cleveland Browns WR Joshua Cribbs is expected to see heavy duty on special teams this season. The team is hopeful that WRs Joshua Cooper or Jordan Norwood will step up as the third receiver behind WRs Greg Little and Mohamed Massaquoi rather than Cribbs serving as the No. 3 WR.

WR | Brian Robiskie | Jacksonville Jaguars | Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
The Jacksonville Jaguars are likely to keep five or six receivers, especially if one can contribute on special teams as WR Kassim Osgood did last season. It appears at least three or four spots are locked up, but there is plenty of opportunity for WR Brian Robiskie and undrafted rookie WRs Mike X. Brown and Kevin Elliott. Robiskie has impressed the coaching staff at times during offseason workouts, and Brown and Elliott have also stood out at times, too.

WR | Taylor Price | Jacksonville Jaguars | Injury, Fantasy
Jacksonville Jaguars WR Taylor Price (foot) is now off crutches and out of a walking boot. Price had impressed the coaching staff before suffering a stress fracture in his foot. Price has practice squad eligibility, so that might be the way the team chooses to retain him.

WR | Mike Thomas | Jacksonville Jaguars | Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
Jacksonville Jaguars WRs Justin Blackmon and Mike Thomas are battling for the No. 2 wide receiver job behind WR Laurent Robinson on the depth chart, as it stands right now. Blackmon is trying to overcome his DUI arrest, but he has showed tremendous athleticism during the offseason. Head coach Mike Mularkey has also praised the versatility of Thomas. Those two appear poised to battle all throughout training camp for a starting job. Thomas also has the most experience as a punt returner, so that helps his standing on the roster.

WR | Brian Quick | St. Louis Rams | Fantasy
The St. Louis Rams aren't going to ease rookie WR Brian Quick, a second-round draft choice, into the offense. Quick is being treated almost as a first-round pick, as the team needs him to step up immediately as a big-play receiver if they are going to have a more productive offense this year. The Rams are expecting him to dominate down field, be fearless over the middle, be bold and become a serious scoring threat for QB Sam Bradford. "I'm going to step up to the plate and make plays and do the things I need to do to help the team and be a better player," Quick said.

Tight End

TE | Aaron Hernandez | New England Patriots | Fantasy
New England Patriots TEs Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez both played more than 1,000 offensive plays last season. As a result, the team needs a solid third tight end, and perhaps a fourth, to play all the schemes in its playbook.

TE | Benjamin Watson | Cleveland Browns | Fantasy
Cleveland Browns WR Greg Little was targeted with 121 passes during the team's organized team activities (OTAs) and minicamps. TE Benjamin Watson was second on the list, followed by WR Mohamed Massaquoi.

TE | DJ Williams | Green Bay Packers | Fantasy
Green Bay Packers TE DJ Williams was not good on special teams last season, and he might need to show more big-play ability like he did in college if he is to make the final roster.

TE | Andrew Quarless | Green Bay Packers | Injury
Green Bay Packers TE Andrew Quarless (knee) will start training camp on the Physically Unable to Perform list and there is a chance he will miss the entire 2012 season.

TE | Dustin Keller | New York Jets | Fantasy
The New York Jets have no plans of negotiating a contract extension with TE Dustin Keller at this point and would like to wait until after the season to start contract talks. The team would like to see how he does in offensive coordinator Tony Sparano's scheme before making a financial commitment.

Offensive Tackle

OT | Bryan Bulaga | Green Bay Packers | Depth Chart Tidbit
There has been no indication that Green Bay Packers head coach Bryan Bulaga is considering moving OT Bryan Bulaga from the right side to the left side. The team feels Bulaga can become one of the league's best right tackles if he remains there.

OT | Anthony Castonzo | Indianapolis Colts | Injury
Indianapolis Colts OT Anthony Castonzo (ankle) and OG Ben Ijalana (knee) have not participated in any of the offseason workouts at this point because of injuries.

Guard

OG | Evan Dietrich-Smith | Green Bay Packers | Depth Chart Tidbit
The Green Bay Packers did not draft a center as the possible successor to C Jeff Saturday, but OG Evan Dietrich-Smith continues to improve and might become that guy. He has practiced as the No. 2 center during the offseason. Dietrich-Smith has also worked a left guard.

OG | Jake Scott | Free Agent | Free Agents
Free-agent OG Jake Scott (Titans) met with the Detroit Lions, Miami Dolphins and Baltimore Ravens last week.

OG | Ben Ijalana | Indianapolis Colts | Injury
Indianapolis Colts OT Anthony Castonzo (ankle) and OG Ben Ijalana (knee) have not participated in any of the offseason workouts at this point because of injuries.

Defensive Line

DL | Haloti Ngata | Baltimore Ravens | Injury, Fantasy
Baltimore Ravens DL Haloti Ngata (thigh) is fully recovered from a deep thigh bruise which limited him down the stretch, and he has bulked up in preparation for the season. Ngata had no sacks after Thanksgiving last season, and he posted just three total tackles in two playoff games. "I just didn't feel that strong. So, I think a little bit this year I'm going to probably try to get up on the weight a little bit just to help me with some of that power. I think being a little bit lighter kind of made me lose some of that power."

DL | Mike Neal | Green Bay Packers | Injury
Green Bay Packers DL Mike Neal (knee) was moving well and appeared to be in good shape during organized team activities (OTAs). He missed the 2011 season due to a cartilage injury early in training camp. If he can show ability to rush the quarterback, he might be in for a prominent role. He is also appealing a four-game suspension by the NFL for testing positive for Adderall. He hopes the suspension will be reduced or overturned since his prescription has been approved by the league.

DL | Jerel Worthy | Green Bay Packers | Depth Chart Tidbit
Green Bay Packers DL Jerel Worthy showed some flashes of pass-rush quickness, and the early signs suggest he might help the rush immediately.

DL | Jeremy Mincey | Jacksonville Jaguars | Depth Chart Tidbit
Jacksonville Jaguars DL Jeremy Mincey is considered a clear-cut starter, but the other defensive end is not as clear. Second-round draft pick DL Andre Branch has the tools to be an edge rusher, and his progress has impressed defensive line coach Joe Cullen. DLs John Chick, Austen Lane and Aaron Morgan are also in the mix and expected to challenge.

Defensive Tackle

DT | Mike Daniels | Green Bay Packers | Injury, Depth Chart Tidbit
Green Bay Packers DL Mike Daniels (shoulder) did not practice during organized team activities (OTAs), as he is still recovering from shoulder surgery. The team is expecting him to be ready to practice when training camp opens, however.

Linebacker

LB | Brian Banks | Free Agent | Free Agents
Street free-agent LB Brian Banks posted a time of 4.77 seconds in the 40-yard dash during his workout with the Kansas City Chiefs.

LB | Brad Jones | Green Bay Packers | Depth Chart Tidbit
Green Bay Packers LBs Jamari Lattimore and Brad Jones have been moved inside, and those two might be fighting for one roster spot. LB D.J. Smith also showed speed at ILB, and he figures to get on the field in some defensive packages.

LB | Frank Zombo | Green Bay Packers | Injury
Green Bay Packers LB Frank Zombo (hamstring) missed time last season due to scapula, knee and hamstring issues. He suffered a severe hamstring injury in the offseason which prevented him from taking part in organized team activities (OTAs) and minicamp.

LB | Clay Matthews | Green Bay Packers | Injury, Fantasy
Green Bay Packers LB Clay Matthews (hamstring) pulled out of practice on the first day of organized team activities (OTAs) due to a twinge in his hamstring, and he did not practice from that point forward as a precaution. He has had recurring hamstring injuries, so it is something to watch heading into training camp, although Matthews indicated the injury is not serious.

Cornerback

CB | Sam Shields | Green Bay Packers | Depth Chart Tidbit
Green Bay Packers CBs Davon House and Sam Shields have spent most of the offseason working as outside cornerbacks, so they are frontrunners for the job opposite CB Tramon Williams. Shields was the No. 3 corner the past two seasons, so he enters training camp as the more likely to win the job.

CB | Charles Woodson | Green Bay Packers | Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
Green Bay Packers CB Charles Woodson appears to be set to move to safety in the team's base defense, although he will remain a slot cornerback in the nickel and dime packages, which the team will likely play on about 80 percent of their defensive snaps.

CB | Aaron Ross | Jacksonville Jaguars | Injury, Depth Chart Tidbit
Jacksonville Jaguars CBs Rashean Mathis (knee) and Aaron Ross are expected to battle for the starting job opposite CB Derek Cox. The battle has yet to take place in offseason workouts, as Mathis was only recently medically cleared to return to the team, and he was held out of 11-on-11 and 7-on-7 drills throughout minicamp. CB Kevin Rutland appears to be next in line, and he has played outside.

CB | Terrell Thomas | New York Giants | Injury
New York Giants CB Terrell Thomas (knee) promised he will be full go when training camp opens in late July. He is returning from a torn ACL.

Strong Safety

SS | Amari Spievey | Detroit Lions | Injury, Depth Chart Tidbit
Detroit Lions FS Louis Delmas (ankle) and SS Amari Spievey (concussion) have missed time during offseason workouts due to injury. Delmas rolled his ankle and has missed the past couple of weeks. Spievey missed the first part of the offseason training program as he was still dealing with lingering effects of a concussion suffered in the team's playoff loss to the New Orleans Saints. Spievey has since been able to return.

SS | Erik Coleman | Detroit Lions | Depth Chart Tidbit
Detroit Lions SS Erik Coleman is eight pounds lighter this offseason, and he said Sunday, June 17, that he is at the same weight and in the same shape as he was entering the 2008 and 2009 seasons with the Atlanta Falcons. In those two seasons, he started all 16 regular season games in each year, and posted 127 and 139 tackles. Coleman has played a lot of reps with the first-team this offseason due to injuries to others. The starting safety spot opposite FS Louis Delmas is not engraved in stone, so Coleman has a chance to return to the starting lineup.

Free Safety

FS | Louis Delmas | Detroit Lions | Injury, Depth Chart Tidbit
Detroit Lions FS Louis Delmas (ankle) and SS Amari Spievey (concussion) have missed time during offseason workouts due to injury. Delmas rolled his ankle and has missed the past couple of weeks. Spievey missed the first part of the offseason training program as he was still dealing with lingering effects of a concussion suffered in the team's playoff loss to the New Orleans Saints. Spievey has since been able to return.

FS | M.D. Jennings | Green Bay Packers | Depth Chart Tidbit
Green Bay Packers FS M.D. Jennings and SS Jerron McMillian are fighting veteran SS Charlie Peprah for time playing safety opposite FS Morgan Burnett in the nickel and dime packages, or a majority of snaps. Peprah is viewed as the best quarterback of the secondary, but Jennings and McMillian can cover more ground.
