Running Back

RB | Shonn Greene | New York Jets | Fantasy
New York Jets RB Shonn Greene enters the final year of his rookie contract, and this season is seen as a crossroads. The team is hopeful he'll revert to the back he was during the 2009 postseason. However, there are no proven backs behind Greene, so this season it is sink or swim with the former University of Iowa product.

RB | DeMarco Murray | Dallas Cowboys | Injury, Fantasy
Dallas Cowboys RB DeMarco Murray (ankle) said Monday, June 25, that he is healthy and will have no training camp limitations. He suffered a broken ankle in a game in December.

RB | Delone Carter | Indianapolis Colts | Injury, Fantasy
Indianapolis Colts RB Delone Carter (thumb) said Monday, June 25, that he expects to be ready for training camp. He tore a ligament in his thumb on the right hand during organized team activities (OTAs) in April, and he had surgery. "I don't feel like it's a big setback because we don't have pads on yet," Carter said. "The only thing I feel is setting me back is not really getting out there and running routes with the defense, having to do it on my own. It's different with a defender over you."

RB | Matt Forte | Chicago Bears | Free Agents, Fantasy
The Chicago Bears believe franchise free-agent RB Matt Forte will be able to pick up the new offense without any problems once he reports to the team under his one-year tender or a long-term contract.

RB | Tim Hightower | Washington Redskins | Injury, Fantasy
Washington Redskins RB Tim Hightower (knee) is believed to be the favorite for the starting running back job even though he is still coming back from a torn anterior cruciate ligament.

RB | Cedric Benson | Free Agent | Free Agents, Fantasy
The Oakland Raiders have a good chance to sign free-agent RB Cedric Benson (Bengals) at some point in the next few weeks.

Wide Receiver

WR | Santonio Holmes | New York Jets | Fantasy
New York Jets WR Santonio Holmes is owed $15 million in guarantees over the next two seasons, so he isn't going anywhere anytime soon. However, the team needs him to step up and act like a No. 1 receiver in 2012. He has gone 25 consecutive games without a 100-yard receiving game.

WR | Jordan White | New York Jets | Injury, Fantasy
New York Jets WR Jordan White (foot) hopes to start running soon. He was not wearing a walking boot, and he was no longer using crutches as of Monday, June 25.

WR | Hakeem Nicks | New York Giants | Injury, Fantasy
New York Giants WR Hakeem Nicks (foot) said he started to run a few weeks ago and believes he will definitely be ready for the start of the regular season. "I started running about two weeks [ago] but the coaches don't really want me to force the issue right now so I still haven't started running yet. They want me to just take my time with it -- they feel like that's what's best. So right now I'm just taking my time with it … But I'll definitely be ready for the season," Nicks said.

WR | Greg Childs | Minnesota Vikings | Fantasy
Minnesota Vikings WR Greg Childs is considered the top candidate to take WR Jerome Simpson's playing time in the first three games of the regular season while Simpson serves his suspension.

Both offensive linemen are entering the final years of their contract. "We definitely want those guys back," Nix said. "I've told them. They know that. As far as us working on contracts we've been kind of busy. I think they want to be back and we want them back and when the times comes we'll get started on it."

Guard

OG | Andy Levitre | Buffalo Bills | Transaction

Both offensive linemen are entering the final years of their contract. "We definitely want those guys back," Nix said. "I've told them. They know that. As far as us working on contracts we've been kind of busy. I think they want to be back and we want them back and when the times comes we'll get started on it."

Defensive Line

DL | Kenyon Coleman | Dallas Cowboys | Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
Dallas Cowboys DL Kenyon Coleman is entering the final year of a two-year, $3.5 millio contract, and he is expected to make a $1.9 million base salary in 2012. The rise of DL Sean Lissemore, re-deployment of DL Marcus Spears to the left side, and with seven defensive ends in camp might make Coleman expendable.

DL | Greg Romeus | New Orleans Saints | Injury
New Orleans Saints DE Greg Romeus (knee) has cleared waivers and has been placed on Injured Reserve.

DL | Muhammad Wilkerson | New York Jets | Injury
Updating a previous report, New York Jets DL Muhammad Wilkerson (undisclosed) has been charged with careless driving and failure to maintain his lane for his involvement in a car accident Saturday, June 23.
