QB | Michael Vick | Philadelphia Eagles | Free Agents
Philadelphia Eagles QB Michael Vick's wedding in Miami Beach had a price tag of $300,000. Guests included head coach Andy Reid, RB LeSean McCoy, Atlanta Falcons WR Roddy White and free-agent WR Plaxico Burress (Jets).

QB | Ryan Mallett | New England Patriots | Fantasy
The New England Patriots might consider turning over the second preseason game to QBs Brian Hoyer and Ryan Mallett for the preseason game Aug. 20 against the Philadelphia Eagles. It is a nationally-televised game, which would give the team a chance to show the rest of the NFL what they have and to generate some interest in Hoyer or Mallett for a possible deal.

QB | Brandon Weeden | Cleveland Browns | Fantasy
Cleveland Browns QB Brandon Weeden has been studying the West Coast Offense since the Senior Bowl and is reportedly absorbing the terminology well. He operated well under center in organized team activities (OTAs) and minicamp, and looked surprisingly good on his dropbacks.

QB | Colt McCoy | Cleveland Browns | Fantasy
Cleveland Browns QB Colt McCoy is more likely to be traded because he is popular in the locker room, and he has plenty of fan support as well. If QB Brandon Weeden struggles early on, it could create fan controversy for those calling for the backup.

QB | Dennis Dixon | Free Agent | Free Agents
The Pittsburgh Steelers are not interested in re-signing free-agent QB Dennis Dixon. Dixon has not received much interest in free agency.

QB | Donovan McNabb | Free Agent | Free Agents
Free-agent QB Donovan McNabb (Vikings) has not receive much interest this offseason even though he said there is a 80 or 90 percent chance that he would play this season.

QB | Daunte Culpepper | Retired | Free Agents
Free-agent QB Daunte Culpepper (Lions) said he does not expect to play again and has moved on with his life. "As far as me playing, I think I am done,'' Culpepper said. "That part of my book is closed. The next chapter is, I have kids and I will be coaching them."

QB | Tyrod Taylor | Baltimore Ravens | Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
Baltimore Ravens QB Tyrod Taylor will try to hold off a challenge from QB Curtis Painter for the primary backup job to QB Joe Flacco in training camp. QBs John Brantley and Chester Stewart are also on the roster, but considered longshots for the role.

QB | Matt Schaub | Houston Texans | Injury, Fantasy
Houston Texans head athletic trainer Geoff Kaplan said Friday, June 29, that QB Matt Schaub (foot) is expected to be at training camp without any restrictions. "I think we all expect Matt to be out there the first day of training camp without any issues," Kaplan said.

Running Back

RB | Matt Forte | Chicago Bears | Fantasy
A deal between the Chicago Bears and RB Matt Forte is expected to get done by July 16. Forte said over the weekend that he will play this season, and will not sit out the regular season.

RB | Trent Richardson | Cleveland Browns | Draft
Cleveland Browns RB Trent Richardson said he thinks comments made by former NFL RB Jim Brown were meant as a motivational ploy. Brown criticized the Browns for selecting Richardson in the NFL Draft, calling him an average running back. "I've got big shoes to fill. I don't dislike Jim Brown for his comments on me. He's just pushing me to the limit," Richardson said. "He's going to make sure I'm going to work and make sure he can get everything he can out of me as far as me being in Cleveland."

RB | Darren McFadden | Oakland Raiders | Injury, Fantasy
Oakland Raiders RB Darren McFadden said he is fully recovered from his foot injury suffered last season and is looking forward to carry his strong 2011 performance into this upcoming season.

RB | Cedric Benson | Free Agent | Free Agents
The Oakland Raiders remain interested in free-agent RB Cedric Benson (Bengals) and could offer him a contract just before training camp, or soon after it opens.

RB | Stevan Ridley | New England Patriots | Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
New England Patriots RB Stevan Ridley said Friday, June 29, that he knows the opportunity in front of his this season, and he will try to move up the depth chart to become the featured back. "Everything I could have asked for is right in front of me," Ridley said. "I want to get to that No. 1 spot. And to this day that is still what I'm doing with the Patriots. I'm fighting for that No. 1 spot."

RB | Jahvid Best | Detroit Lions | Injury, Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
Detroit Lions RB Jahvid Best (concussion) is expected to be ready for the start of the regular season. Barring any setbacks, he is expected to see a majority of the carries early on while RB Mikel Leshoure (knee) serves a two-game suspension. General manager Martin Mayhew recently said he expects a breakthrough season for Best.

RB | Bernard Pierce | Baltimore Ravens | Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
Baltimore Ravens RB Bernard Pierce is believed to be a solid fit for the offense, and a solid complement to RB Ray Rice. He will challenge for the primary backup job to Rice, competing with RBs Anthony Allen and Damien Berry for the spot in training camp.

RB | Ed Wesley | NFL Draft Prospect | Draft
Texas Christian RB Ed Wesley will be entering the 2012 NFL supplemental draft.

FB | Owen Marecic | Cleveland Browns | Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
Cleveland Browns FB Owen Marecic is the incumbent at the position, but he is viewed as a mostly blocking fullback. TE Brad Smelley has the versatility as a pass receiver, but he is not a true lead blocker. Lastly, TE E. Alex Smith is also in the mix for H-back duties. Two of those players might not make the 53-man roster.

Wide Receiver

WR | Juron Criner | Oakland Raiders | Fantasy
Oakland Raiders WR Juron Criner, who was impressive during offseason workouts, could potentially challenge starting WRs Denarius Moore or Darrius Heyward-Bey if they struggle.

WR | Stephen Hill | New York Jets | Fantasy
New York Jets WR Stephen Hill said he has been working on his route running this offseason because he only ran a limited number of routes during college. "There are adjustments, reads on the run, all the fine-tuning stuff, and you've got to develop a connection (with the quarterback). You can have all the (physical) skills in the world, but you have to get the mental and technique things down even more," Hill said.

WR | Marc Mariani | Tennessee Titans | Injury, Fantasy
Tennessee Titans WR Marc Mariani (ankle) said Saturday, June 30, that he battled a high ankle sprain for most of last season, and that injury suffered in preseason limited his effectiveness. He is fully recovered, and battling for a receiver job in camp. "I feel kind of rejuvenated," Mariani said. "Instead of wearing down, I'm getting strong and feeling better. A high ankle sprain isn't an easy thing when you have no rest (during the season). It was tough, but it will never be an excuse."

WR | Britt Davis | New England Patriots | Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
New England Patriots WR Britt Davis, out of football last season until the team added him to the practice squad for the playoffs, has a slight chance of making the 53-man roster in training camp. He has good size at 6-foot-3, making him the tallest receiver on the roster other than WR Matt Roark, and he is relatively young at 26. However, what might work against Davis is the fact he doesn't figure to contribute much on special teams. His closest competition for a roster spot is expected to be WRs Jeremy Ebert, Jesse Holley, Roark and veteran WR Donte' Stallworth.

WR | LaRon Byrd | Arizona Cardinals | Depth Chart Tidbit
Arizona Cardinals WR LaRon Byrd, an undrafted rookie free agent, had a strong showing at organized team activities (OTAs) and minicamp. In his hometown back in Louisiana, people nicknamed him "Little Fitzgerald." Now, he is playing alongside WR Larry Fitzgerald, a player he idolized growing up. The two have struck up a friendship, and the Pro Bowler has taken the rookie under his wing. Byrd turned heads in minicamp, making several impressive catches, but he still has an uphill battle to make the club in training camp and the preseason.

WR | Brian Hartline | Miami Dolphins | Injury, Fantasy
Miami Dolphins WR Brian Hartline (appendectomy) said Saturday, June 30, that he is recovering from an appendectomy, but he is expected to be fine for training camp.

WR | Leonard Hankerson | Washington Redskins | Fantasy
The Washington Redskins are going to lean on WR Leonard Hankerson to build on the late-season work he produced as a rookie. Hankerson could be an option as the team's slot receiver.

WR | Santana Moss | Washington Redskins | Fantasy
Washington Redskins WR Santana Moss has an early jump on the team's No. 2 wide receiver spot, and there also have been whispers he could compete with WR Pierre Garcon for the No. 1 role.

WR | Ronald Johnson | Philadelphia Eagles | Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
The Philadelphia Eagles want to take a long look at WR Ronald Johnson during training camp. He finished last season on the active roster.

WR | Riley Cooper | Philadelphia Eagles | Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
Philadelphia Eagles WR Riley Cooper appears to be well ahead in the race for the No. 4 wide receiver job heading into training camp. Cooper looked faster and more fluid in offseason workouts than in any of his previous seasons.

WR | DeSean Jackson | Philadelphia Eagles | Fantasy
Philadelphia Eagles WR DeSean Jackson is primed to have the best season of his career. He is healthy, and he is happy after signing a lucrative contract during the offseason.

WR | Kendall Wright | Tennessee Titans | Transaction, Draft, Fantasy
Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright remains unsigned. He was the No. 20 pick overall in this year's NFL Draft. He is presumably working off Tampa Bay Buccaneers DL Adrian Clayborn's fully-guaranteed four-year deal signed last year.

WR | Andre Johnson | Houston Texans | Fantasy
Houston Texans WR Andre Johnson was among six to 12 players working out at a morning throwing session at the University of Houston Friday, June 29, with QB Matt Schaub, according to the quarterback.

WR | Tommy Streeter | Baltimore Ravens | Injury, Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
Baltimore Ravens WRs Tommy Streeter and Deonte Thompson have performed solid in offseason workouts, but they are still facing an uphill battle during training camp for a spot on the active roster. If one, or both, make the roster for Week 1, it might be because WR David Reed (knee) is not ready for the season, and he begins on the Physically-Unable-to-Perform (PUP) list.

Tight End

TE | Taylor Thompson | Tennessee Titans | Fantasy
Tennessee Titans TE Taylor Thompson was impressive throughout the team's offseason workouts. According to sources, Thompson showed elite athleticism similar to New England Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski. The Titans believe Thompson could become a dynamic offensive player and be special in the long term if he continues to develop.

TE | Vernon Davis | San Francisco 49ers | Fantasy
San Francisco 49ers TE Vernon Davis feels the team is a Super Bowl contender, and he isn't afraid to voice his opinion. "I don't want to sound too cocky, but I think we have the potential," Davis said. "I think we have a lot of potential and I'm not wrong for saying that because of the talent we have. I can't that we're going to win the Super Bowl. All I can say is that I strongly believe that we have the team to get to that point. It makes me excited because I know what we have going forward."

TE | Garrett Celek | San Francisco 49ers | Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
San Francisco 49ers TE Garrett Celek has soft hands and has shown an ability to run solid routes. He still faces an uphill battle for a spot on the 53-man roster, but he might be able to make another roster or certainly land a practice squad spot with a continued strong showing in preseason.

TE | Nate Byham | San Francisco 49ers | Injury, Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
San Francisco 49ers TE Nate Byham (knee) is back after a season-ending injury, and he is trying to hold off TE Konrad Reuland for the third tight end job. Byham is viewed as more of a blocker than a receiver, while Reuland is considered to have much better hands. Byham's chances of making the roster might also hinge on how well DL Demarcus Dobbs does at the tight end position. Dobbs, who has shown an ability to block, would make Byham rather redundant.

TE | Delanie Walker | San Francisco 49ers | Injury, Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
San Francisco 49ers TE Delanie Walker (knee) returns, and he is once again expected to be the primary backup job to TE Vernon Davis.

TE | Daniel Fells | New England Patriots | Injury, Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
New England Patriots TE Daniel Fells (ankle) is still considered the leader for the third tight end job, although he did not take part in organized team activities (OTAs) or minicamp. Fells is slowly recovering from an ankle injury. Undrafted rookie TE Tyler Urban and TE Alex Silvestro are the only challengers to Fells.

TE | Jordan Cameron | Cleveland Browns | Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
Cleveland Browns TE Jordan Cameron is considered the team's future at tight end. TE Benjamin Watson is in the final year of his contract, so Cameron is therefore likely to see a bigger role in the offense, not TE Evan Moore.

TE | Ed Dickson | Baltimore Ravens | Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
Baltimore Ravens TE Ed Dickson is likely to be listed as the No. 1 tight end on the depth chart, but he and TE Dennis Pitta are likely to both be utilized frequently. The Ravens frequently use two-tight end sets, so each is likely to see the field early and often.

TE | Lance Kendricks | St. Louis Rams | Fantasy
St. Louis Rams TE Lance Kendricks is expected to have a prominent role in offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer's offense based how he was used during offseason workouts.

TE | Visanthe Shiancoe | Free Agent | Free Agents
The Seattle Seahawks offered free-agent TE Visanthe Shiancoe (Seahawks) a one-year deal worth $1.2 million but he decided not to accept the deal.

Offensive Tackle

OT | Vernon Carey | Free Agent | Free Agents
Free-agent OG Vernon Carey (Dolphins) received some interest from teams over the past few weeks. Teams look at Carey as a player who can play tackle and guard and could have interest in signing him if the price is right.

OT | Marcus McNeill | Free Agent | Injury, Free Agents
Free-agent OT Marcus McNeill (Chargers) have recently received interest from a few teams but teams still appear to concerned about his neck injury and previous back problems. Some teams have requested his medical information and could put him through a physical.

OT | Max Starks | Free Agent | Injury, Free Agents
The Pittsburgh Steelers are unlikely to re-sign free-agent OT Max Starks (Steelers) until or if rookie OT Mike X. Adams falters or OT Marcus Gilbert is befallen by injury.

OT | Jonathan Martin | Miami Dolphins | Depth Chart Tidbit
Miami Dolphins OT Jonathan Martin is ahead of OT Lydon Murtha for right right tackle job heading into training camp. However, Martin did struggle at times during minicamp.

OG | Donald Thomas | New England Patriots | Depth Chart Tidbit
New England Patriots OG Donald Thomas faces an uphill battle to secure a spot on the 53-man roster in training camp and the preseason. Thomas will have to beat out OLs Nick McDonald or Ryan Wendell for a spot on the line. He'll also be in a fight with the versatile OG Jamey Richard for a job.

OG | Jake Scott | Free Agent | Free Agents, Depth Chart Tidbit
The Miami Dolphins have hosted free-agent OG Jake Scott (Titans) twice, but they have not made an offer to him and are non-committal. The team has OGs Artis Hicks and John Jerry battling at right guard, and Jerry is currently overweight.

Defensive Line

DL | Chris Canty | New York Giants | Injury
New York Giants DL Chris Canty (knee) said Saturday, June 30, that he wants to make his teammates better through his performance, and be a leader in the locker room. Canty was able to post a career-high four sacks, but he said he is looking for bigger and better things in 2012.

DL | Phil Taylor | Cleveland Browns | Injury
Cleveland Browns DL Phil Taylor (pectoral) is looking more likely to be able to play in the final seven games of the season.

DL | Arthur Jones | Baltimore Ravens | Depth Chart Tidbit
Updating a previous report, Baltimore Ravens DL Arthur Jones is expected to compete with DL Pernell McPhee for a starting job. Jones has spent time after organized team activities (OTAs) and minicamp working at the team's facility.

DL | Cam Johnson | San Francisco 49ers | Injury
San Francisco 49ers LB Cam Johnson (knee) is expected to be ready for the start of the regular season after undergoing knee surgery earlier this offseason.

LB | Dont'a Hightower | New England Patriots | Transaction
New England Patriots LB Dont'a Hightower remains unsigned, and he might be waiting to see what happens with players like Cleveland Browns QB Brandon Weeden. The hold-up with Weeden is that he is looking for a guaranteed four-year contract. Weeden was selected 22nd overall, while Hightower was picked 25th overall.

LB | Bobby Carpenter | New England Patriots | Injury, Depth Chart Tidbit
New England Patriots LB Bobby Carpenter saw plenty of reps during offseason workouts, especially with LB Brandon Spikes (knee) absent as he recovers from injury. Carpenter can play both outside spots in a 4-3 defensive scheme. With LB Jerod Mayo entrenched as the weak-side linebacker, Carpenter will be in the mix for the strong-side job. His biggest competition will be LB Dont'a Hightower. Carpenter is expected to see plenty of playing time in coverage, regardless if he starts.

LB | Aldon Smith | San Francisco 49ers | Injury
Updating a previous report, San Francisco 49ers LB Aldon Smith (abdomen, shoulder) suffered minor stab wounds at a house party Saturday, June 30. The wounds occurred as Smith attempted to break up a fight, and he likely was stabbed by a pocketknife. The location of the wounds are believed to be in his shoulder and abdomen.

LB | Andre Carter | Free Agent | Injury, Free Agents
Free-agent DE Andre Carter (quadriceps) could start the season on the Physically Unable to Perform list if he re-signs with the New England Patriots.

LB | Brandon Lindsey | Free Agent | Injury
Updating a previous report, the Pittsburgh Steelers released LB Brandon Lindsey (shoulder) because he suffered a shoulder injury and will need surgery on the shoulder.

CB | Terrence McGee | Buffalo Bills | Injury
Buffalo Bills CB Terrence McGee (knee) said he hopes to be ready for the start of training camp.

CB | Jimmy Smith | Baltimore Ravens | Injury
Baltimore Ravens CB Jimmy Smith appears to have the edge over CB Cary Williams (hip) for the starting cornerback job entering training camp because Smith was able to participate in the offseason workouts while Williams was recovering from hip surgery.

Strong Safety

SS | Chris Hope | Atlanta Falcons | Transaction, Free Agents
The Atlanta Falcons have agreed to terms with free-agent SS Chris Hope (Titans). Terms of the contract were not disclosed.
