QB | Carson Palmer | Oakland Raiders | Fantasy
Oakland Raiders QB Carson Palmer is just 16-for-30 passing with no touchdowns and two interceptions in two preseason games. However, Palmer said he is not concerned with the stats as he is using the preseason to work on certain plays. "That's what (preseason) is for, really, unless you're a young guy that hasn't played and just wants to get acclimated to the speed of the game," Palmer said. "I've been around long enougn and that's not something I'm trying to do. There are things we'll work on and plays we'll put in we normally wouldn't put in, or if we want to see if this guy can run by that guy. There are a ton of situations that come up where you do things you wouldn't do in a regular season game."

QB | Peyton Manning | Denver Broncos | Fantasy
Denver Broncos QB Peyton Manning has struggled throwing to his right since his return from a serious neck injury. After two preseason games, Manning has problems when his passes are more than 10 yards.

QB | Mark Sanchez | New York Jets | Fantasy

Wilson will play with the first-team offense at least in the first half and then give way to QB Matt Flynn. Wilson is 22-for-33 with 279 yards, three touchdowns and an interception. He also has 92 rushing yards and a score. Flynn is 17-for-26 with 102 yards, no touchdowns and one interception.

QB | Colt McCoy | Cleveland Browns | Fantasy
Cleveland Browns QB Colt McCoy is still battling for the backup quarterback job with QB Seneca Wallace. McCoy was more accurate than Wallace Tuesday, Aug. 21, but McCoy lacks the same velocity as QB Brandon Weeden, who is expected to start. "When I first got diagnosed with this," McCoy said, "the doctor said it was a two- to three-year recovery. OK? So now I'm getting to that point, and my shoulder feels really good. The ball's coming out well. There's a lot of zip on it."

QB | Matt Moore | Miami Dolphins | Fantasy
Miami Dolphins quarterback Matt Moore was disappointed in the outcome of the team's QB competition and losing the starting job to Ryan Tannehill. "I'm doing my job....I was disappointed. As a leader of the team you want to be back there with the guys," Moore said.

Running Back

RB | Darren McFadden | Oakland Raiders | Injury, Fantasy
Oakland Raiders head coach Dennis Allen said RB Darren McFadden is healthy entering the season and in no way will the team 'baby' him in order to ensure the running back stays injury-free. McFadden has missed 19 of a possible 64 games during his four-year pro career, missing at least three games in each season. The bulk of those games lost to injury came due to a Lisfranc foot injury during the second half of last season. "He's 100 percent," Allen said of McFadden. "I think the thing that you look at is as a running back, I mean, it's a tough position. They take some shots and that's part of football. We can't baby him. We can't protect him. We got to go out there and play football and give him an opportunity to carry the ball, and we hope that he's able to stay healthy."

RB | Maurice Jones-Drew | Jacksonville Jaguars | Fantasy
Jacksonville Jaguars RB Maurice Jones-Drew is open to a trade; however, he is also open to bridging what is becoming a more fractured relationship with the team. The issue remains who will extend the olive branch in order to repair the relationship as Jones-Drew is not happy owner Shahid Khan discussed his situation in public.

RB | Isaac Redman | Pittsburgh Steelers | Injury, Fantasy
Pittsburgh Steelers RB Isaac Redman (hip) said an MRI revealed he had a hip injury, not a groin injury. He is practicing again and, barring a setback, could start in Week 1. "I'm trying to do what I can do without triggering it, without making it worse," Redman said. "Hopefully, I can just keep getting better and better and not have a setback. We're just trying not to push it too hard."

RB | Felix Jones | Dallas Cowboys | Fantasy
Dallas Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones said he is not concerned with RB Felix Jones' play this preseason. Jones believes it is ridiculous to think the running back's roster spot is in jeopardy. "That's a ridiculous thought," Jones said. "I'm not worried about him at all. From what I've seen out there, he's got a chance to have a big year for us."

RB | David Wilson | New York Giants | Injury, Fantasy
New York Giants RB David Wilson ran with the first-team offense for the second straight day Tuesday, Aug. 21. He has been impressive in camp and appears to be ahead of RBs Danny Ware, Andre Brown and Da'Rel Scott on the depth chart. RB Ahmad Bradshaw (hand) has practiced the last two days, but it's unknown if he'll play in the preseason game against the Chicago Bears Friday, Aug. 24.

RB | Adrian Peterson | Minnesota Vikings | Injury, Fantasy
Minnesota Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier said RB Adrian Peterson (knee) has had no setbacks in his recovery after the team decided not to use Peterson in any remaining preseason games. "There are no setbacks. That's not the reason we're doing it," Frazier said. "We just feel like more time with him in practice with some of the things that we're doing and the progression of getting him ready for the season, it's the right thing to do." Frazier isn't guaranteeing that Peterson will play in Week 1, and the team will continue to be cautious with his recovery. He's ahead of schedule, but the team doesn't see harm in continuing to be cautious. Peterson carried the ball 18 times in practice Monday, Aug. 20.

RB | LaMichael James | San Francisco 49ers | Injury, Fantasy
San Francisco 49ers RB LaMichael James (ankle) returned to practice Tuesday, Aug. 21.

"I want to say he played upwards of around 40 snaps if I'm not mistaken the other night. He obviously caught that nice ball down the middle of the field on a good protection, adjustment by Ryan and a good pickup by the offensive line and the running back. It was one of the better-executed plays that we had. … He's a good threat down the middle of the field. He's a good red zone threat. These next couple of weeks are important for him."

New York Giants WR Hakeem Nicks (foot) said that it will take a week for his timing to return with QB Eli Manning. "It's not far off," Nicks said. The next step for Quick will be getting reps with the first-team offense.

WR | Mike Wallace | Pittsburgh Steelers | Fantasy
Pittsburgh Steelers WR Mike Wallace is expected to arrive in Pittsburgh this weekend to sign his one-year contract, according to multiple sources. Reporting this weekend could also reopen negotiations for a multi-year extension.

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones doesn't expect WR Miles Austin (hamstring) to play for the remainder of the preseason while dealing with a strained hamstring. However, the team expects him to be ready for the team's Sept. 5 opener against the New York Giants. "We're basically just wanting to make sure he's ready for New York," Jones said. "That's where it's all headed for him. He probably will need some work, just logic tells you, before he gets in the game, but we're not interested in seeing him (play in the preseason)."
