Quarterback

QB | Matthew Stafford | Detroit Lions | Injury
Detroit Lions QB Matthew Stafford (hamstring) said following Week 3 he is unsure if he has a right hamstring or glute injury. Stafford said the injury started to bother him this past week in practice and flared up during the game. He will have an MRI Monday, Sept. 24. "It's something that has been bothering me all week," Stafford said. "I kind of felt it a couple of plays during the game. I tried to sit on a heat pack to try to keep it loose and warm. On that last play, trying to go after that guy. I couldn't turn it on. I felt like if I tried to turn it on, it would have been a lost worse than it is."

QB | Matt Schaub | Houston Texans | Injury
Houston Texans QB Matt Schaub (ear) lost a small piece of his left ear following a direct hit to the helmet by Denver Broncos LB Joe Mays in Week 3. Schaub's helmet flew off, and he held his head in his hands. "I felt fine. I lost a piece of my ear," Schaub said.


Running Back

RB | Ahmad Bradshaw | New York Giants | Injury, Fantasy
New York Giants head coach Tom Coughlin said he is hopeful RB Ahmad Bradshaw (neck) will be cleared to play in Week 4; however, Coughlin added, "There are still issues. If it was just pain he would be going."

RB | Matt Forte | Chicago Bears | Injury, Fantasy
Chicago Bears head coach Lovie Smith said the team is "hopeful" RB Matt Forte (ankle) will play in the team's Week 4 game Monday, Oct. 1. "He made a lot of progress last week, and we have an extra day also so that should help," Smith said. "We're just hopeful that he'll be able to go. If not, our running backs, not only Michael Bush, but Kahlil Bell and Armando Allen all did a good job. But we hope we'll get our stud running back back."

RB | Reggie Bush | Miami Dolphins | Injury, Fantasy
An MRI showed Miami Dolphins RB Reggie Bush (knee) did not suffer any structural damage to his left knee and he could play in Week 4.

RB | Fred Jackson | Buffalo Bills | Injury, Fantasy
Buffalo Bills head coach Chan Gailey said RB Fred Jackson (knee) will return to practice this week.

RB | Jamaal Charles | Kansas City Chiefs | Injury, Fantasy
Kansas City Chiefs RB Jamaal Charles (knee) said after a terrific Week 3 performance that he has finally returned all the way back from a torn anterior cruciate ligament. "I didn't trust myself (until Sunday). "It really hit me when I started getting the runs. I started trusting myself," Charles said. "I kind of feel like the old me, especially breaking that long run and finishing it. It's motivating me more that I still have my speed and I still can run the long ones."

RB | Marshawn Lynch | Seattle Seahawks | Injury, Fantasy
Seattle Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch (back) has rushed for over 100 yards in his last six home games.

RB | Ryan Williams | Arizona Cardinals | Injury, Fantasy
Arizona Cardinals RB Ryan Williams saw a lion's share of the carries in Week 3 against the Philadelphia Eagles with RB Beanie Wells (toe) leaving the game early. Williams finished with 13 carries for 83 yards, and he added a 12-yard reception.

RB | Daniel Thomas | Miami Dolphins | Injury, Fantasy
Miami Dolphins RB Daniel Thomas carried 19 times for a game-high 69 yards and a touchdown in the Week 3 game against the New York Jets. He was fairly effective coming on for an injured RB Reggie Bush (knee). Thomas also added an 11-yard catch, and he lost a fumble.

RB | C.J. Spiller | Buffalo Bills | Injury, Fantasy
Updating a previous report, Buffalo Bills RB C.J. Spiller (collarbone) had further tests after leaving the Week 3 game against the Cleveland Browns due to a collarbone injury. Tests revealed he does not have a break, and he is only expected to miss one to two weeks.

Denver Broncos RB Willis McGahee (rib) suffered a rib injury in the Week 3 game against the Houston Texans. His return is questionable.

RB | Peyton Hillis | Kansas City Chiefs | Injury
Kansas City Chiefs RB Peyton Hillis (ankle) left the game early Week 3 after suffering an ankle injury and is considered questionable to return.

RB | Ryan Mathews | San Diego Chargers | Injury, Fantasy
San Diego Chargers RB Ryan Mathews (clavicle) is active for Week 3.


Fullback

FB | Greg Jones | Jacksonville Jaguars | Injury, Fantasy
Jacksonville Jaguars FB Greg Jones (head) was forced out of the Week 3 game against the Indianapolis Colts, but he passed concussion tests and was able to return.


Wide Receiver

WR | Hakeem Nicks | New York Giants | Injury, Fantasy
New York Giants WR Hakeem Nicks (foot) said he expects to play in the team's Week 4 game. Nicks added he would have played in Week 3 if the game was on a Sunday and not a Thursday.

WR | Domenik Hixon | New York Giants | Injury
New York Giants WR Domenik Hixon (concussion) passed his head injury protocol, and head coach Tom Coughlin expects him to return to practice Wednesday, Sept. 26.

WR | Greg Jennings | Green Bay Packers | Injury, Fantasy
Updating a previous item, Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy is calling WR Greg Jennings (groin) a game-time decision for Week 3.

WR | Rod Streater | Oakland Raiders | Injury, Fantasy
Oakland Raiders WRs Juron Criner (ankle) and Rod Streater (eye) suffered injuries in the Week 3 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

WR | Julio Jones | Atlanta Falcons | Injury, Fantasy
Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones (hand) finished with five receptions for 67 yards and a touchdown in the Week 3 game against the San Diego Chargers. He left the game briefly in the first half due to a hand injury, but was able to return and finish the game.

WR | Julian Edelman | New England Patriots | Injury, Fantasy
New England Patriots WR Julian Edelman (hand) suffered a hand injury on his second quarter touchdown reception in the Week 3 game against the Baltimore Ravens. He headed for the locker room for treatment before halftime, tried to return to the game in the second half, and went back to the locker room for further work. Edelman's return is questionable.

WR | Stephen Hill | New York Jets | Injury, Fantasy
New York Jets WR Stephen Hill (hamstring) left the Week 3 game against the Miami Dolphins due to a right hamstring injury, but he said after the game that he thinks he'll be fine. Hill did not have any receptions before departing. It was his second straight game without a catch, and he dropped a sure TD pass in the first half.

Updating a previous report, Indianapolis Colts WR Austin Collie (knee) left the Week 3 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars due to a knee injury. Collie will have an MRI Monday, Sept. 24.

Updating a previous report, Jacksonville Jaguars RB Montell Owens (concussion) and WR Laurent Robinson (concussion) will undergo further testing after leaving the Week 3 game against the Indianapolis Colts due to head injuries.

Denver Broncos WR Brandon Stokley (back) was shaken up in the final moments of the Week 3 game against the Houston Texans. He was falling to the ground and took a knee to the back. Stokley was able to walk off under his own power.

Washington Redskins WR Leonard Hankerson (neck, back) said he will undergo precautionary X-rays after suffering a jammed neck or back in Week 3.

WR | Miles Austin | Dallas Cowboys | Injury, Fantasy
Dallas Cowboys WR Miles Austin (rib) underwent X-rays on a rib injury he suffered during the game Week 3. He was able to return in the fourth quarter.

WR | Dexter McCluster | Kansas City Chiefs | Injury
Kansas City Chiefs WR Dexter McCluster (shoulder) left the game early Week 3 after suffering a shoulder injury.


Tight End

TE | Brandon Myers | Oakland Raiders | Injury, Fantasy
Oakland Raiders TE Brandon Myers (head) has 15 catches in 15 targets this season, for 206 yards. Myers has "been critical for us in the passing game," head coach Dennis Allen said. "He's done an outstanding job. He was a guy that we identified fairly early in camp as a guy that we thought could be productive for us." Myers, however, suffered a concussion at the end of Week 3.

TE | Jacob Tamme | Denver Broncos | Injury, Fantasy
Denver Broncos TE Jacob Tamme (leg) left the Week 3 game against the Houston Texans briefly, but he was able to return. He finished with three receptions for 31 yards.

TE | Jared Cook | Tennessee Titans | Injury, Fantasy
Tennessee Titans TE Jared Cook (shoulder) suffered a shoulder injury in the Week 3 game against the Detroit Lions. He said after the game that the injury is to his left AC joint, and he doesn't feel he'll require surgery. Cook will have an MRI Monday, Sept. 24.


Offensive Tackle

OT | David Diehl | New York Giants | Injury
New York Giants OT David Diehl (knee) was not taking part in practice Monday, Sept. 24.

OT | Trent Williams | Washington Redskins | Injury
Washington Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan said OT Trent Williams (knee) will undergo an MRI to determine his status for Week 4.


Guard

OG | Rodney Hudson | Kansas City Chiefs | Injury
Kansas City Chiefs C Rodney Hudson (knee) left the game early Week 3 after suffering a knee injury and is considered questionable to return.

OG | Reggie Wells | Free Agent | Transaction
The San Diego Chargers have released OG Reggie Wells.


Defensive Line

DL | Darnell Dockett | Arizona Cardinals | Injury
Updating a previous report, Arizona Cardinals DL Darnell Dockett (hamstring) said he expects to be OK after leaving the Week 3 game against the Philadelphia Eagles due to a hamstring injury. "Every now and then, even the Hulk gets wounded," Dockett said. He'll be re-examined Monday, Sept. 24.

DL | Adrian Clayborn | Tampa Bay Buccaneers | Injury
Updating a previous report, Tampa Bay Buccaneers DL Adrian Clayborn (knee) left the Week 3 game against the Dallas Cowboys due to a potentially serious right knee injury. He was in a brace from thigh to ankle following the game, and some of his teammates fear he might be done for the season.

DL | Ziggy Hood | Pittsburgh Steelers | Injury
Pittsburgh Steelers DL Ziggy Hood (leg) left the Week 3 game against the Oakland Raiders late in the fourth quarter when he had his leg rolled up in a pile.

DL | Kendall Langford | St. Louis Rams | Injury
St. Louis Rams DT Kendall Langford (shoulder) left the game early Week 3 after suffering a right shoulder injury and is considered questionable to return.


Linebacker

LB | Calvin Pace | New York Jets | Injury
The NFL is not expected to discipline New York Jets LB Calvin Pace for saying that the team "had to" knock Miami Dolphins RB Reggie Bush (knee) out of Week 3. The video of the play does not show anything illegal or unusual happening that would suggest an effort to injure Bush, according to a league official. Pace reportedly intimated that Bush's knee injury was no accident. "Reggie, I guess he was doing his thing for a quarter or two," Pace said. "We had to put him on out. We didn't see him again."

LB | Keith Rivers | New York Giants | Injury
New York Giants LB Keith Rivers (hamstring), CB Michael Coe (hamstring) and CB Jayron Hosley (hamstring) were on the side during practice Monday, Sept. 24.


Cornerback

CB | Darrelle Revis | New York Jets | Injury
Updating a previous report, New York Jets CB Darrelle Revis (knee) will need to undergo season-ending surgery for a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee. Revis will have to wait two or three weeks before having surgery. Rehab for an ACL tear is usually between six and nine months. CB Kyle Wilson will replace Revis at the cornerback position opposite CB Antonio Cromartie.

CB | Cedric Griffin | Washington Redskins | Injury
Washington Redskins CBs Crezdon Butler (hamstring) and Cedric Griffin (hamstring) each left the Week 3 game against the Cincinnati Bengals due to hamstring injuries.

CB | Vontae Davis | Indianapolis Colts | Injury
Indianapolis Colts CBs Vontae Davis (ankle) and Justin King (groin) left the Week 3 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

CB | Tracy Porter | Denver Broncos | Injury
Denver Broncos CB Tracy Porter (knee) left the Week 3 game against the Houston Texans due to a knee injury.


Strong Safety

SS | Barry Church | Dallas Cowboys | Injury
