San Francisco 49ers QB Alex Smith (finger) completed 19 of his 30 pass attempts for 200 yards, no touchdowns and three interceptions in the Week 6 loss against the New York Giants. He also fumbled once, but that was recovered by his own team. Smith entered the game with a finger injury on his throwing hand.

QB | John Skelton | Arizona Cardinals | Injury, Fantasy
Arizona Cardinals QB John Skelton (ankle) came off the bench in the fourth quarter of the Week 6 game against the Buffalo Bills for the injured QB Kevin Kolb (ribs). He was awful, completing just two of his 10 pass attempts for 45 yards, no touchdown and one interception.

Minnesota Vikings RB Adrian Peterson (ankle) finished with 17 carries for 79 yards and added a career-best seven catches for 50 yards; however, Peterson also expressed disappointment in himself, saying he missed some early opportunities to break free. Peterson has not scored a touchdown in his last five games. "I missed a couple (holes)," Peterson said. "Should have been more aggressive. That's pretty much what it boils down to."

Dallas Cowboys RB DeMarco Murray (foot) said following Week 6 he tried to go back into the game after suffering a foot injury but the team would not let him. "That was their decision to pull me out," Murray said. "It's a long season. It's only one game, so I have to do what's best for the team."

RB | Brandon Saine | Green Bay Packers | Injury, Fantasy

"I know it will get better as weeks go on. I didn't expect to come out here and be great, great my first game back, but I know it will get better by next week and week after that and it just takes time." The key will be to see how he feels over the next few days. If his knee doesn't swell and his surgically repaired foot feels fine, then Nicks should be able to practice at least once this week.

New York Jets CB Darrelle Revis (knee), who will have surgery Tuesday, Oct. 16, to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee, predicts he will return to his elite level for the 2013 season. "Once I get back to 100 percent, to me there's no question I (will) be back to where I was," Revis said. However, Revis acknowledged he will have to prove himself to the organization before landing a long-term contract extension. He is signed through 2013, and there's a clause in his current deal that prohibits the team from using the franchise tag. "I'm sure it might raise people's eyebrows with how I'm going to look when I come back," Revis said. "I'm OK with that. I wouldn't expect anything less. I just know I work hard and I'm going to treat it like any other offseason."

CB | Lardarius Webb | Baltimore Ravens | Injury
Baltimore Ravens CB Lardarius Webb (knee) is out for the season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee, according to a league source with knowledge of the situation. An MRI exam Monday, Oct. 15, confirmed the initial diagnosis. With Webb out, CB Jimmy Smith will start opposite CB Cary Williams.
