QB | Jake Locker | Tennessee Titans | Injury
Tennessee Titans QB Jake Locker (shoulder) is nearing a return to health with his injured left (non-throwing) shoulder and could be able to play again fairly soon, according to a source. The Titans are awaiting the results of an MRI Monday, Nov. 5, to determine if Locker might be cleared to play in Week 10, or if he needs to wait until after the bye week and return Nov. 25. Surgery to fully correct the shoulder problem remains a possibility for Locker in the offseason.

QB | Robert Griffin III | Washington Redskins | Injury, Fantasy
Washington Redskins QB Robert Griffin III (ribs) was really sore following Week 9, according to a source with knowledge of the situation; however, he is expected to be fine. The Redskins are on a bye in Week 10, so Griffin will have extra time to recover.

Updating a previous item, Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo (back) left the stadium early Monday, Nov. 5, walking gingerly to the team bus because of a back strain. Romo, however, said he does not believe the injury to be serious.

Wide Receiver

WR | Calvin Johnson | Detroit Lions | Injury, Fantasy
Detroit Lions WR Calvin Johnson (knee) said he had to take painkillers before Week 9 to play on his injured left knee. Johnson met with QB Matthew Stafford, offensive coordinator Scott Linehan, receivers coach Shawn Jefferson and quarterbacks coach Todd Downing prior to the game to let everyone know what he could or could not do. Johnson wanted to play despite a knee injury, but had a limited range of motion. After the meeting, Linehan devised a strategy that would play to Johnson's strengths, and hide his weaknesses. "He (Linehan) called the game plan around that, for the most part. It's successful the way he did," Johnson said. It appears Johnson's injury is an issue he will deal with for the rest of the season. "It's probably something I'm going to have to deal with," Johnson said. "As much running as we do, especially in this game, it's stuff that really could take the whole season to get over with. It would be great if it can get over it before. It's something that I expect to linger. You just got to stay on top of it with treatments."

WR | Dez Bryant | Dallas Cowboys | Injury, Fantasy
Dallas Cowboys WR Dez Bryant (hip) was held without a catch or a target in the second half of Week 9. QB Tony Romo targeted WRs Miles Austin and Kevin Ogletree, along with TE Jason Witten instead.

WR | Percy Harvin | Minnesota Vikings | Injury
Minnesota Vikings WR Percy Harvin (hamstring) said the team's lack of production on offense in Week 9 led to his rift with head coach Leslie Frazier. After a promising second-quarter drive stalled in the red zone, Harvin sought out Frazier and shouted demonstratively at his coach. Harvin followed Frazier down the sideline, prompting Frazier to remove his headset and calm Harvin down. "I just want to score points," Harvin said. "It's frustrating not scoring. So, it was just a little frustration. Just was trying to get things right."

It appeared Matthews injured the same hamstring, although that has not been confirmed.

LB | Thomas Davis | Carolina Panthers | Injury
Carolina Panthers LB Thomas Davis (knee) was shaken up in the Week 9 game against the Washington Redskins, and he feared he suffered another knee injury. "It was a scare," Davis said.
