According to a source, head coach candidate Andy Reid (Eagles) pitch to the Arizona Cardinals will be the potential to "fix (QB Kevin Kolb)." The team would like to keep Kolb if possible.

QB | Ben Roethlisberger | Pittsburgh Steelers | Injury, Fantasy
Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said Monday, Dec. 31, QB Ben Roethlisberger (shoulder, ribs) will not require offseason surgery.

QB | Brandon Weeden | Cleveland Browns | Injury
Cleveland Browns QB Brandon Weeden (shoulder) said his injured shoulder remains sore and he will not throw for some time.


Running Back

RB | BenJarvus Green-Ellis | Cincinnati Bengals | Injury
Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Jay Gruden said the team plans on running the football in their Wild Card playoff game, even if RB BenJarvus Green-Ellis (hamstring) is out of the lineup. "We're going to prepare to run the ball like we do every week and hopefully BenJarvus is healthy," Gruden said. "He's got a little twinge right now, but it looks like he's going to be fine. It will be important to us ... We have other backs also that can run the ball. We're not going to change our plan at all. It never varies. We have a good run plan going in, but Houston's a good run defense as we all know. It's going to be important to try to force the issue."

Detroit Lions WR Titus Young could return to the team next season, according to head coach Jim Schwartz. "There's a chance," Schwartz said. "There is a process involved there. He's a very talented player and obviously made a difference when he was on the field and it, particularly with the way the injuries went with Nate Burleson and then later (Ryan) Broyles, it affected the team not having him out there." Young got sent home for behavioral issues and was eventually placed in Injured Reserve late in the 2012 season.

Linebacker

LB | Brian Urlacher | Chicago Bears | Free Agents, Fantasy
Chicago Bears LB Brian Urlacher said he wants to stay with the Chicago Bears, even though he is a free-agent and had said he would only play for former head coach Lovie Smith. "I feel like I'm a Bear, no matter what happens," Urlacher said. "I want to be here. ... I still don't want to play for anybody else, and I'll keep saying that until it happens, I guess."
