Quarterback

Running Back

New Orleans Saints RB Travaris Cadet bounced back and forth from tailback to wide receiver last season, but he has been working primarily as a running back with the third team during offseason workouts. Head coach Sean Payton feels Cadet is capable of a pure running back role and the duties that come with it in the blocking scheme.


Wide Receiver

St. Louis Rams WR Brian Quick has impressed with his play in OTAs. In the session Friday, June 7, he caught 17 or more passes from all over the field in all sorts of different routes.

Former Detroit Lions WR Titus Young has posted bond and has been released from an Orange County jail where he was being held for allegedly trying to burglarize a San Clemente home.

WR | Jarred Fayson | New Orleans Saints | Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
New Orleans Saints WRs Jarred Fayson and Andy Tanner are a pair of receivers who have spent plenty of time on NFL practice squads, and are trying to make the 53-man roster. Both receivers reportedly have been consistent during offseason workouts, and they have found ways to free themselves up in the secondary. WR Kenny Stills, a fifth-round pick in the 2013 NFL Draft, has yet to stand out. All three might be competing for the fifth receiver job.

San Diego Chargers WRs Keenan Allen, Richard Goodman and Robert Meachem did not rotate as starters during organized team activities (OTAs), but they are very much in the picture and pushing for roster spots behind WRs Danario Alexander, Vincent Brown, Malcom Floyd and Eddie Royal.

WR | Terrance Williams | Dallas Cowboys | Fantasy
Dallas Cowboys wide receivers coach Derek Dooley said WR Terrance Williams have been able to make some good plays during offseason workouts but still has a long way to go before contributing for the team. "Each day, what I'm proud of, he's getting a little bit better. He's still got a long way to go. It's a journey in the National Football League, especially at wide out, but I'm really proud of how he's progressing," Dooley said.


Tight End

St. Louis Rams TE Jared Cook said the Tennessee Titans' offense didn't fit him, and he likes what he sees in St. Louis. "I think I'm on an elevator going up," Cook said.

TE | Jimmy Graham | New Orleans Saints | Injury, Fantasy
New Orleans Saints TE Jimmy Graham (wrist) feels like he is back to 100 percent after enduring a wrist injury in 2012 which lingered for most of the season. He was wearing a small brace on his wrist during offseason practices to make sure nothing happened.


Offensive Tackle

Tampa Bay Buccaneers OT Gabe Carimi will battle for a job on the right side of the line.

OT | Terron Armstead | New Orleans Saints | Injury, Depth Chart Tidbit
New Orleans Saints OT Terron Armstead (abdominal) suffered a midsection injury during minicamp practice Tuesday, June 4. He is considered a main contender with OT Charles Brown for the starting left tackle job. OT Jason Smith is also believed to be in the mix.


Defensive Line

DL | Haloti Ngata | Baltimore Ravens | Injury, Fantasy
Baltimore Ravens DT Haloti Ngata (knee) didn't do much in last week's OTAs because he's still recovering from his knee injury.

DL | Damontre Moore | New York Giants | Injury, Depth Chart Tidbit
New York Giants DLs Damontre Moore and Adrian Tracy will have an opportunity to fill the void with DE Jason Pierre-Paul (back) recovering from back surgery. "We have to advance some of these young guys," head coach Tom Coughlin said. "(Tracy) has done a good job. (Moore) has had his flashes."


Defensive End

DE | Mathias Kiwanuka | New York Giants | Injury, Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
New York Giants DE Mathias Kiwanuka is happy to be back at his natural position, defensive end, on a full-time basis. Kiwanuka is working as the starting right defensive end spot while DE Jason Pierre-Paul (back) recovers from surgery. "It was a move I was looking forward to. I had a feeling it was coming," Kiwanuka said.


Linebacker

LB | Craig Robertson | Cleveland Browns | Depth Chart Tidbit
Cleveland Browns LB Craig Robertson appears the be the leading candidate for the starting inside linebacker job next to LB D'Qwell Jackson.


Cornerback

CB | Johnson Bademosi | Cleveland Browns | Injury, Depth Chart Tidbit
The Cleveland Browns were impressed with how FS Tashaun Gipson and CB Johnson Bademosi have performed at free safety during organized team activities. FS Jamoris Slaughter (Achilles') is also expected to compete for the starting job once he recovers from his Achilles' tendon injury.


Free Safety
