Running Back

RB | Arian Foster | Houston Texans | Injury, Fantasy
Houston Texans RB Arian Foster (calf) said he'll most likely be ready for training camp.

RB | DuJuan Harris | Green Bay Packers | Injury, Fantasy
Green Bay Packers RB DuJuan Harris (lung) vows to be ready for the first day of training camp July 26. He had a "grapefruit"-sized, non-cancerous cyst removed from his lung. "I'll be ready," Harris said over the weekend. "I'll be there."

Wide Receiver

WR | Donald Driver | Retired | Fantasy
Retired WR Donald Driver said Sunday, June 16, that he would come out of retirement if the Green Bay Packers contacted him to do so, but he wouldn't for any other club.

WR | Devin Hester | Chicago Bears | Depth Chart Tidbit
Chicago Bears KR Devin Hester is competing to keep his job as the primary kick returner. WR Earl Bennett is also fielding kicks, and at age 31, Hester could become a salary cap casualty.

WR | Justin Hunter | Tennessee Titans | Fantasy
Updating previous reports, Tennessee Titans WR Justin Hunter has base salaries of $405,000, $651,552, $898,104 and $1,144,656 in his four-year deal.

WR | Brian Quick | St. Louis Rams | Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
St. Louis Rams WR Brian Quick reportedly had a disappointing spring, and he tumbled down the unofficial depth chart, working as the No. 4 receiver as organized team activities (OTAs) and minicamp ended. However, it is believed the rookie Tavon Austin, Chris Givens and Austin Pettis just had better practices, as offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer had good words for Quick. "(Quick's) doing a lot better. He's stepped up this year. He's just much more comfortable," Schottenheimer said.

WR | Santonio Holmes | New York Jets | Injury, Fantasy
New York Jets WR Santonio Holmes (foot) spoke to the media recently, shedding light on his Lisfranc foot injury. Holmes said his foot injury was diagnosed as a Grade 4 injury (the most serious kind), meaning a muscle tear and joint separation in his mid-foot. He had screws and a plate removed in a March surgical procedure, but he will have two screws in the foot permanently. Holmes said his "target date" is the first day of training camp.

WR | Wes Welker | Denver Broncos | Fantasy
Denver Broncos WR Wes Welker will get a crack at his former team, the New England Patriots, in Week 12. New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft told reporters his club offered Welker more money than Denver, but he left anyway.

WR | Terrell Owens | Free Agent | Free Agents
Free-agent NFL WR Terrell Owens (Seahawks) visited free-agent WR Chad Johnson (Dolphins) in jail. Owens said Johnson is in good spirits and that seeing him incarcerated was a humbling experience for Owens.

WR | Davone Bess | Cleveland Browns | Fantasy
Cleveland Browns WR Davone Bess could start while WR Josh Gordon serves his two-game suspension.

WR | Greg Childs | Minnesota Vikings | Injury
Minnesota Vikings WR Greg Childs (knees) has not been cleared to participate in team practices at this point and likely will not be for some time. He has been working out in the weight room and currently weighs 225 pounds. He has also been able to do some running and cutting.

Tight End

TE | Matt Spaeth | Pittsburgh Steelers | Injury, Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
Updating a previous report, Pittsburgh Steelers TE Matt Spaeth might start the regular season as a starter if TE Heath Miller (knee) is not ready. However, he is considered a strong blocking tight end, which would help trigger the running back. He understands he probably won't see the ball as much as Miller did even as a starter. "I'm a role guy, and I know I've got a role, and I never worry about how many balls are being thrown to me," Spaeth said.

TE | Kellen Winslow | New York Jets | Injury, Fantasy
New York Jets TE Kellen Winslow impressed in a tryout in minicamp, leading to a one-year contract. However, an opposing personnel executive is not sold Winslow can be 100 percent effective anymore. "I think it's a lot like (former QB David Garrard). He'll be fine in a workout, moving and running, but taking a hit, the grind of training camp and a full, 16-game season will be the litmus test," the executive said. "I'd watch him closely to see if they manage his reps and practice time."

Offensive Line

OL | Derek Newton | Houston Texans | Injury
Houston Texans head coach Gary Kubiak said he is concerned about the team's situation at right tackle because OT Derek Newton (knee) and OT Brennan Williams (knee) were not able to participate in offseason workouts. "If you look at our roster, it looks good, but the bottom line is the guys aren't out there, so that's concerning for us as a team and me as a coach," Kubiak said. "I love the way Newton has worked. I think he made a lot of progress as a player last year. He played hurt at the end of the year, which was tough on him and us as a team. We drafted a young man with a lot of ability (Williams). He hasn't been out here yet." Both are expected to be ready for training camp.

CB | Robert Alford | Atlanta Falcons | Transaction
The Atlanta Falcons signed second-round pick CB Robert Alford to a four-year, $3.4 million deal.

CB | Davon House | Green Bay Packers | Injury, Depth Chart Tidbit
Green Bay Packers CB Davon House (shoulder) said over the weekend that he fully expects to be ready for the first day of training camp July 26. He said he "would beg" the team doctor to let him take part in organized team activities (OTAs) and minicamp, but he was not cleared. He is expected to compete with CBs Casey Hayward, Sam Shields and Tramon Williams for a starting job in training camp and the preseason.
