Quarterback

QB | Greg McElroy | New York Jets | Depth Chart Tidbit
New York Jets QB Greg McElroy and QB Matt Simms are battling for the No. 3 quarterback job, if the team even decides it is necessary to keep three behind QBs Mark Sanchez and Geno Smith. Quarterbacks coach David Lee has been trying to get McElroy to take more chances downfield, instead of option for check-downs.

QB | Blaine Gabbert | Jacksonville Jaguars | Depth Chart Tidbit
Jacksonville Jaguars QBs Blaine Gabbert and Chad Henne are expected to compete for the starting quarterback job during training camp, but QB Mike Kafka could enter the competition during camp.

Running Back

RB | Bilal Powell | New York Jets | Depth Chart Tidbit
New York Jets RB Bilal Powell is in need of a strong training camp and preseason to stick around, as the team brought in RBs Chris Ivory and Mike Goodson during the offseason. Powell and RB Joe McKnight are fighting for jobs, and McKnight has value due to his skills as a kick returner. Powell's value increases if Goodson is suspended for his recent arrest.

RB | Ryan Mathews | San Diego Chargers | Fantasy
It seems as though the San Diego Chargers have come to grips with the fact that RB Ryan Mathews won't be the stud three-down running back they envisioned when they traded up to select him 12th overall in the 2010 NFL Draft. RB Danny Woodhead has been very impressive in offseason workouts, and The San Diego Union Tribune's Michael Gehlken thinks Woodhead will be a big part of the Bolts' running attack, taking valuable repetitions away from Mathews.

RB | David Wilson | New York Giants | Fantasy
Retired RB Tiki Barber said New York Giants RB David Wilson is the most dynamic running back the Giants have ever had. "I wasn't fast. I was quick, I was elusive, I had good vision but I didn't have breakaway speed like he does. I wasn't the athlete like he is. I worked hard to get where I was. As long as he doesn't take that for granted and works hard on top of it, he can be fantastic," Barber said.

RB | Denard Robinson | Jacksonville Jaguars | Fantasy
Jacksonville Jaguars RB Denard Robinson has described himself as an offensive weapon because he can play several positions. Robinson still meets with the running backs, but the offensive workouts indicate that he will line up at different positions.

Fullback

FB | Vonta Leach | Free Agent | Free Agents
The Miami Dolphins continued contract talks with free-agent FB Vonta Leach (Ravens) Wednesday, June 26.

Wide Receiver

WR | Doug Baldwin | Seattle Seahawks | Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
Seattle Seahawks WR Doug Baldwin reportedly was a standout during organized team activities (OTAs) and minicamp. He and rookie WR Chris Harper were impressive, but they are still behind WRs Percy Harvin, Sidney Rice and Golden Tate as far as the pecking order is concerned.

WR | Clyde Gates | New York Jets | Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
New York Jets WR Clyde Gates needs to have a strong training camp and preseason if he wants to win a roster spot. Gates is on the team because former offensive coordinator Tony Sparano liked Gates from their days together with the Miami Dolphins, but Sparano has since moved on to a job with the Oakland Raiders.

WR | Cole Beasley | Dallas Cowboys | Depth Chart Tidbit
Dallas Cowboys WRs Cole Beasley, Danny Coale and Anthony Armstrong are expected to compete for the No. 5 wide receiver job during training camp.

WR | Miles Austin | Dallas Cowboys | Fantasy
The Dallas Cowboys' strong preference is having WR Miles Austin as the slot receiver when they line up in three-receiver sets. Austin would be the slot receiver if WR Terrance Williams wins the No. 3 wide receiver job.

WR | Dwayne Harris | Dallas Cowboys | Draft, Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
The Dallas Cowboys had WR Terrance Williams the 23rd player on their board entering the 2013 NFL Draft, and selected him with the 74th overall pick. He will be competing with WR Dwayne Harris for the No. 3 wide receiver job during training camp.

WR | Brandon Lloyd | Free Agent | Free Agents
The Kansas City Chiefs could show interest in free-agent WR Brandon Lloyd (Patriots) if WRs Donnie Avery and Jonathan Baldwin are not good enough complements to WR Dwayne Bowe.

Tight End

TE | Konrad Reuland | New York Jets | Injury, Depth Chart Tidbit
New York Jets TE Konrad Reuland's roster spot might be in jeopardy following the signing of TE Kellen Winslow (knee). The fate of Reuland could be tied to Winslow's health.

Guard

OG | Kyle Long | Chicago Bears | Depth Chart Tidbit
Chicago Bears OG Kyle Long will be given the opportunity to win one of the starting guard jobs during training camp, but he will have to beat OG Matt Slauson or OG James Brown for a job. Long was not able to participate in offseason workouts because Oregon were still holding classes during that time.

Offensive Line

OL | Vladimir Ducasse | New York Jets | Depth Chart Tidbit
New York Jets OL Vladimir Ducasse played every position except center during the offseason, helping his chances of sticking around. However, the team drafted three offensive linemen and improved depth, so he will need to earn his roster spot, especially with his biggest proponent, general manager Mike Tannenbaum now gone.

Defensive Line

DL | Freddie Bishop | Free Agent | Transaction
The Detroit Lions have released DE Freddie Bishop.

Linebacker

LB | Ausar Walcott | Free Agent | Transaction
The Cleveland Browns have released LB Ausar Walcott after he was arrested for attempted murder, aggravated assault and endangering an injured victim.

Free Safety

FS | Louis Delmas | Detroit Lions | Injury
Detroit Lions FS Louis Delmas (knee) said Wednesday, June 26, that he is not quite back to 100 percent after multiple knee injuries last season. "I'm feeling great. I'm not all the way back 100 percent yet, but I can go around the range of 88 or 90 percent right now," Delmas said. "I still got a long road ahead of me. I plan on going through camp, trying to build my knee up as much as possible so I can go into the season 100 percent."
