Quarterback

QB | Brandon Weeden | Cleveland Browns | Fantasy
ESPN's quarterback evaluator Ron Jaworski believes Cleveland Browns QB Brandon Weeden will be a solid NFL quarterback. "For a rookie, Weeden showed uncommon poise and calm in the pocket" with "consistently solid" mechanics, said Jaworski, who also touted the quarterback's ability to "sit on his back foot and drive the ball with velocity." Moving from former head coach Pat Shurmur's paint-by-numbers West Coast Offense to offensive coordinator Norv Turner's aggressive downfield passing attack should help. Weeden is more of a gunslinger, and coach Rob Chudzinski has promised to make the most of his quarterback's deep-ball ability.

QB | Joe Flacco | Baltimore Ravens | Fantasy
Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco got praise for his mechanics from former offensive coordinator Cam Cameron. "Joe was very well schooled on how to throw the football. He came in with great mechanics. He came in with natural arm strength and endurance," Cameron said. "But I would say to give the credit to Joe himself. Joe knows what he is doing when it comes to his arm. I've never seen him ice his arm. I never saw it sore. I've seen him tired maybe once."

QB | Josh Freeman | Tampa Bay Buccaneers | Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
Updating a previous report, Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Greg Schiano said he expects QB Josh Freeman to have a big year. "I believe in competition, and Mike Glennon is going to be a tremendous quarterback in his time," Schiano said. "But we have a quarterback, it's Josh Freeman. He had a really good spring. I think it's really coming together, being in this system for a second year now and hearing the things over again after being able to study it, I'm really encouraged. "I know Mike Sullivan, our offensive coordinator, he's encouraged. We're looking forward to big things. Josh is going to have a big year."

QB | Tyrod Taylor | Baltimore Ravens | Depth Chart Tidbit
Baltimore Ravens QB Tyrod Taylor will enter training camp as the favorite for the No. 2 quarterback job but will have to compete with QB Caleb Hanie for the job. Hanie will have to stand out during camp and preseason games to win the backup job. The team could go with two quarterbacks on the final roster again this season.

QB | Robert Griffin III | Washington Redskins | Injury, Fantasy
The Washington Redskins could consider placing QB Robert Griffin III (knee) on the Physically Unable to Perform list at the start of training camp to allow his knee more time to heal. Griffin is very determined to be able to practice once camp opens.

QB | Ben Roethlisberger | Pittsburgh Steelers | Fantasy
The Pittsburgh Steelers likely will look to sign QB Ben Roethlisberger to a contract extension next offseason because he is scheduled to count $18 million against the salary cap in 2014.

QB | Matt Barkley | Philadelphia Eagles | Fantasy
The Oakland Raiders reportedly were planning on selecting QB Matt Barkley in the fourth round before the Philadelphia Eagles scooped him up earlier in the round. QB Tyler Wilson was the team's "fallback option."

QB | Mark Sanchez | New York Jets | Fantasy
Former New York Jets backup QB Erik Ainge said he destroyed a cell phone that woman used to take a photo of QB Mark Sanchez streaking through his condo following a win back in 2009. "There were numerous times when things would happen, when things would go down, articles of clothing would be removed," Ainge said. "Mark is goofy. He played truth or dare. He was kind of awkward around girls, so he needed other people around him to help him out. I was good at that -- there were other guys who were good with that. So we'd help him out and talk him through his awkwardness. It happened to him with the 17-year-old who said she wasn't 17. Now the butt video and there's been several other issues just like that, but he's always had wingmen."

Running Back

RB | Reggie Bush | Detroit Lions | Injury, Fantasy
Detroit Lions WR Nate Burleson (leg) said it will be fine if he loses some catches to RB Reggie Bush this season.

RB | Giovani Bernard | Cincinnati Bengals | Fantasy
The Cincinnati Bengals targeted running backs on passing plays only 57 times last season, which was the third lowest total in the NFL. The team also did not have a running back make a reception of at least 20 yards in 2012. The team selected RB Giovani Bernard in the draft to help out in the passing game.

RB | Joseph Randle | Dallas Cowboys | Injury
Dallas Cowboys RB Joseph Randle (thumb) had the cast taken of his surgically repaired thumb and expects to be ready for the start of training camp.

Fullback

FB | Chris Pressley | Cincinnati Bengals | Injury
Cincinnati Bengals FB Chris Pressley (knee) said he is not sure how much he will be able to do during training camp because he is still recovering from a knee injury he suffered last season. He said he does not know if he will need to start the season on the Physically Unable to Perform list.

Wide Receiver

WR | Michael Crabtree | San Francisco 49ers | Injury, Fantasy
San Francisco 49ers WR Michael Crabtree (Achilles') said he is ready to return to the gym for his next phase in his rehab.

WR | Nate Burleson | Detroit Lions | Injury, Fantasy
Detroit Lions WRs Nate Burleson (leg) and Ryan Broyles (knee) are far ahead of schedule in their rehab from injuries that ended their 2012 seasons.

WR | Mike Wallace | Miami Dolphins | Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
Miami Dolphins WR Mike Wallace is just as good with short routes as he is with deep passes. CB Brent Grimes said he is not a one trick pony. "It's not, 'If I can't get the deep ball, I can't do anything else,'" Grimes said. "He has good hands, can run other routes. He's not a one-trick pony."

WR | Travis Benjamin | Cleveland Browns | Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
Cleveland Browns WR Travis Benjamin probably will start at wide receiver while WR Josh Gordon serves his two-game suspension because WR Davone Bess is a slot receiver.

WR | Victor Cruz | New York Giants | Fantasy
The New York Giants are confident that they will be able to agree on a long-term contract extension with WR Victor Cruz before the start of training camp.

WR | Armon Binns | Miami Dolphins | Depth Chart Tidbit
Miami Dolphins WR Armon Binns could push WR Brandon Gibson for the No. 3 wide receiver job during training camp.

WR | Deion Branch | New England Patriots | Free Agents, Fantasy
New England Patriots WR Deion Branch spoke to his positive relationship with former TE Aaron Hernandez after his arrest and charge of the first-degree murder of Odin Lloyd. "Aaron is a great guy and a great friend of mine and a great teammate," Branch said. "I love him to death, and it was shocking to hear his name involved in this situation. I truly hope and pray he doesn't have any dealings with it."

Tight End

TE | Aaron Hernandez | Free Agent | Free Agents
Free-agent TE Aaron Hernandez (Patriots) was allegedly involved in a domestic incident with his fiancé a year ago, and police have gone to his beachside rental home in Los Angeles. A neighbor called the police in June 2012 about a domestic disturbance with Hernandez and Shayanna Jenkins inside his home. When police arrived, Jenkins said she was OK and didn't want to press charges. Another source said Hernandez had several other noise complaints against him.

TE | Scott Chandler | Buffalo Bills | Injury, Fantasy
Buffalo Bills TE Scott Chandler (knee) said he will be ready for the start of training camp but believes he may need to sit out a practice every few days as a precaution. He said he is not sure if his conditioning will be ready for the team's fast-paced offense at this point but will be able to get in better shape during camp.

TE | Jared Cook | St. Louis Rams | Transaction, Fantasy
St. Louis Rams head coach Jeff Fisher and other team members see TE Jared Cook as a completely different player than the one he coached with the Tennessee Titans. "Absolutely night and day difference," said CB Cortland Finnegan. "I'm going to be the first to say that I was maybe like, 'Ahh ...' (when the Rams signed Cook), but when he got there, he's been tearing it up like I've never seen. He's comfortable, he's back where he wants to be and I'm excited to have him."

Guard

OG | Chance Warmack | Tennessee Titans | Depth Chart Tidbit
The Tennessee Titans are pleased with rookie OG Chance Warmack's development.

Linebacker

LB | Keenan Robinson | Washington Redskins | Injury
The Washington Redskins hope LB Keenan Robinson (pectoral) will be able to participate once training camp begins.

Cornerback

CB | Darrelle Revis | Tampa Bay Buccaneers | Injury, Fantasy
Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Greg Schiano said he believes CB Darrelle Revis (knee) will be ready for Week 1 of the 2013 season. "Revis looks good in his rehab," Schiano said. "He works incredibility hard. If I am a betting man, he is going to be ready."

CB | Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie | Denver Broncos | Free Agents
Denver Broncos CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie said the coaching staff talked to him about his weaknesses during his free-agent visit this offseason, which impressed him. "They told me about my flaws. Nobody had done that, and it impressed me," Rodgers-Cromartie said. "They told me what I needed to work and how they would get me better instead of telling me about what I could do."

Strong Safety

SS | Reshad Jones | Miami Dolphins | Transaction, Free Agents
The Miami Dolphins and SS Reshad Jones have not begun contract extension talks yet. Jones is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent after the 2013 season.

Free Safety

FS | Nate Ebner | New England Patriots | Injury
New England Patriots FS Nate Ebner (undisclosed) was not able to fully participate in the offseason workouts because of an undisclosed injury.

FS | Jairus Byrd | Buffalo Bills | Free Agents
The Buffalo Bills' long-term contract negotiations with franchise free-agent FS Jairus Byrd could go on until the July 15 deadline. Neither side has made much noise about the extension talks.
