QB | Carson Palmer | Arizona Cardinals | Fantasy
Arizona Cardinals coaches and players have said QB Carson Palmer can still make all of the NFL throws and showed the arm strength for deep passes as well as good touch on the deep throws.

QB | Matt Ryan | Atlanta Falcons | Fantasy
An Atlanta Falcons team official indicated the contract extension Detroit Lions QB Matthew Stafford recently signed will not greatly affect the team's contract extension talks with QB Matt Ryan. The Falcons already had an idea about how much it would take to sign Ryan.

"I have seen improvement in the very short time I have been able to work with him. He certainly has tremendous potential."

WR | Victor Cruz | New York Giants | Fantasy
New York Giants WR Victor Cruz has apologized for a message he sent on Twitter in the wake of the verdict in the George Zimmerman trial. Cruz sent a series of tweets Sunday, July 14, calling his message from a night earlier a "mistake," adding that he "never will advocate violence under any circumstances." The original message has since been deleted.

The Chicago Bears and DT Henry Melton remain far apart in long-term contract negotiations, according to a source. The deadline to sign franchised players to long-term deals is Monday, July 15.

DL | Jared Odrick | Miami Dolphins | Depth Chart Tidbit
The Miami Dolphins are inclined to use DE Jared Odrick at defensive end in the team's 4-3 defensive alignment. The team likely will move Odrick to defensive tackle in obvious passing situations.

DL | Chris Clemons | Seattle Seahawks | Injury
Seattle Seahawks DE Chris Clemons (knee) could be ready for the start of training camp, but the team is considering placing Clemons on the Physically Unable to Perform list at the start of camp.

Cornerback

Free Safety
