Josh Freeman was asked to take a seat. What's next?

QB | Christian Ponder | Minnesota Vikings | Injury, Fantasy
Minnesota Vikings QB Christian Ponder (rib) is dealing with a rib injury, and head coach Leslie Frazier said the team will make a decision on Ponder's status for Week 4 later in the week. He was expected to be limited during practice Wednesday, Sept. 25.

QB | Josh Freeman | Tampa Bay Buccaneers | Fantasy
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are willing to trade QB Josh Freeman if another team needs a quarterback before the trading deadline.

QB | Brandon Weeden | Cleveland Browns | Injury, Fantasy
Cleveland Browns QB Brandon Weeden (thumb) is out for Week 4. He hopes to begin throwing later this week. QB Brian Hoyer will start again this week.

QB | Mike Glennon | Tampa Bay Buccaneers | Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have benched QB Josh Freeman in favor of QB Mike Glennon.

Glennon is a 6-foot-7, rookie that has good vision over defenders. He's going to have some growing pains, though. One has to wonder how much this will affect Vincent Jackson, and if he can get the ball to him downfield. Doug Martin should be used heavily, but if Glennon can't get the passing offense rolling, defenses will stack the box to neutralize Martin.

QB | Terrelle Pryor | Oakland Raiders | Injury, Fantasy
Oakland Raiders head coach Dennis Allen said Tuesday, Sept. 24, that the team will prepare for QB Terrelle Pryor (concussion) and QB Matt Flynn being the starter for the Week 4 game against the Washington Redskins.

Running Back

RB | C.J. Spiller | Buffalo Bills | Injury, Fantasy
Buffalo Bills RB C.J. Spiller (quadriceps) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Sept. 25.

RB | Ray Rice | Baltimore Ravens | Injury, Fantasy
Baltimore Ravens RB Ray Rice (hip) said he will participate in practice Wednesday, Sept. 25, and expects to play Week 4.

Rice missed Week 3 because of the injury and his status for Week 4 is uncertain at this point, so owners should watch for his practice participation this week. He may be a game-time decision for the game but should be in all starting lineups if he is able to play.

RB | Reggie Bush | Detroit Lions | Injury, Fantasy
Detroit Lions RB Reggie Bush (knee) appeared to be fully participating during the media-access portion of practice Wednesday, Sept. 25.

RB | Daryl Richardson | St. Louis Rams | Injury, Fantasy
St. Louis Rams RB Daryl Richardson (foot) was able to participate fully in practice Tuesday, Sept. 24.

RB | Frank Gore | San Francisco 49ers | Injury, Fantasy
San Francisco 49ers RB Frank Gore (knee) was able to take part in a full practice session Tuesday, Sept. 24.

If you normally use Gore in your fantasy league, it appears safe to use him barring any setbacks. He is a solid RB2 or flex fantasy option against a Rams rush defense which was gouged for 175 rushing yards and a score by Dallas Cowboys RB DeMarco Murray in Week 3.

RB | Isaac Redman | Pittsburgh Steelers | Injury, Fantasy
Pittsburgh Steelers RB Isaac Redman, the team's Week 1 starter at running back, is now listed as fourth on the depth chart behind RBs Felix Jones, Le'Veon Bell (foot) and Jonathan Dwyer, in that order. Jones is the team's leading rusher with 71 yards and is averaging 4.2 yards per carry. Bell is expected to play in Week 4 against the Minnesota Vikings, but they'll likely ease him back into the mix.

With Pitt's bye week in Week 5, they won't want to put too much on the shoulders of Bell immediately. He's the best back to own in this backfield long term, but Jones is probably the better play against the Vikes.

Wide Receiver

WR | Danny Amendola | New England Patriots | Injury, Fantasy
New England Patriots WR Danny Amendola (groin) said he believes he will be 100 percent in the near future but is not sure when he will be ready to play again.

Even though he is showing improvement, there is not a definite timetable for his return. Owners should continue to monitor his practice participation to see when he will be to play in a game again.

WR | Terrance Williams | Dallas Cowboys | Fantasy
Dallas Cowboys WR Terrance Williams could start Week 4 if WR Miles Austin (hamstring) is not able to play.

WR | Miles Austin | Dallas Cowboys | Injury, Fantasy
Dallas Cowboys WR Miles Austin (hamstring) will not participate in practice Wednesday, Sept. 25, because of his hamstring injury.

Austin has a history of hamstring injuries, so the team likely will be cautious with Austin while he recovers from his latest hamstring injury. Owners should monitor this situation closely because there is a chance he will sit out Week 4 to allow the injury to heal. He should be in all fantasy lineups if he is able to play. If he does not play, Terrance Williams and Dwayne Harris would get bigger roles in the passing game, but they likely would be flex options for owners.

WR | Stevie Johnson | Buffalo Bills | Injury, Fantasy
Buffalo Bills WR Stevie Johnson (hamstring) is not participating during the media-access portion of practice Wednesday, Sept. 25.

WR | Ryan Broyles | Detroit Lions | Fantasy
Detroit Lions WR Ryan Broyles will not be on a limited snap count in Week 4.

WR | Chris Givens | St. Louis Rams | Injury, Fantasy
St. Louis Rams WR Chris Givens (knee) was able to take part in a full practice session Tuesday, Sept. 24.

WR | Michael Crabtree | San Francisco 49ers | Injury, Fantasy
San Francisco 49ers WR Michael Crabtree (Achilles') continues to make progress in his rehab from a torn Achilles', but there still is no firm timetable on when he'll be able to return to the team. "If we can get him back this year," offensive coordinator Greg Roman added, "that'd be gravy." Crabtree could return this year. He's currently trying to regain strength in his lower body.

It wouldn't be a surprise to see Crabtree return later this year, but how effective he'll be will another question entirely. Don't expect him to be full speed until next year, which makes him a low priority to add to your squad if he does return.

WR | Justin Hunter | Tennessee Titans | Fantasy
The Tennessee Titans liked what they saw from rookie WR Justin Hunter in the team's Week 3 win over the San Diego Chargers in which Hunter caught a late-game touchdown. "One of the reasons we drafted him is we think he can be a special deep ball threat. He has a great combination of size and speed and he can jump. That was a perfect example of that situation," QB Jake Locker said of Hunter. "He was able to run down, track that football down and then when it comes to a jump ball, we feel confident he is going to come down with it 100 percent of the time, because that's his strength. That plays right into his abilities."

This is more bad news for Kenny Britt and his owners. If Hunter continues to impress and gel with Locker, Britt might sink further into wideout obscurity in Tennessee. It might be time to think about cutting Britt for better options.

Tight End

TE | Fred Davis | Washington Redskins | Injury, Fantasy
Washington Redskins TE Fred Davis (ankle) said he is dealing with a high ankle sprain but is planning to play Week 4.

Davis missed the team's Week 3 game because the injury and likely would be limited if he does play Week 4. Davis should not be a consideration for starting lineups this week and could be dropped if there are better options available in leagues.

TE | Vernon Davis | San Francisco 49ers | Injury, Fantasy
San Francisco 49ers TE Vernon Davis (hamstring) took part in practice on a limited basis Tuesday, Sept. 24.

TE | Heath Miller | Pittsburgh Steelers | Injury, Fantasy
Pittsburgh Steelers TE Heath Miller (knee) won't be restricted in the team's Week 4 game against the Minnesota Vikings.

Miller looked good in his season debut in Week 3, and he's a great safety valve for Ben Roethlisberger. Miller should be owned in most leagues as a decent backup TE.
