Quarterback

QB | Josh Freeman | Tampa Bay Buccaneers | Fantasy
Updating a previous report, Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Josh Freeman admitted that the best option for him is probably to be traded to another team, in an interview with ESPN's Josina Anderson. "You know, I don't for a number of reasons," Freeman said. "But the bottom line is, if you want things to change, something has got to change. At the end of the day, yes, I think that moving forward, that might be, that is going to be probably the best option." The Buccaneers have yet to be contacted by other teams interested in trading for Freeman. He completed less than 50 percent of his passes in the first three weeks and had two touchdowns and three interceptions.

QB | Christian Ponder | Minnesota Vikings | Injury, Fantasy
Minnesota Vikings QB Christian Ponder (rib) is dealing with a fractured rib and will sit out Week 4 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was injured on the second hit of the game in Week 3 and said he was feeling pain Monday, Sept. 23. The bone is broken near his heart, which is the reason why the team decided to keep him out this weekend. Minnesota has a bye in Week 5, so he'll have an extra week to heal.

Ponder isn't guaranteed to return to the starting role after the bye week if Matt Cassel plays well this weekend against the Steelers. Leave Ponder to the waiver wire in all formats.

QB | Matt Cassel | Minnesota Vikings | Injury, Fantasy
Minnesota Vikings QB Matt Cassel will start in Week 4 over QB Christian Ponder (ribs).

Cassel has a lot less mobility than Ponder, but he has shown good accuracy and touch in the past. This actually may not be a bad thing for Adrian Peterson if Cassel can manage the game and keep the chains moving. Cassel isn't worth starting except maybe in two-quarterback leagues.

QB | Matt Schaub | Houston Texans | Injury, Fantasy
Houston Texans QB Matt Schaub (ankle) fully participated in practice Thursday, Sept. 26.

QB | Sam Bradford | St. Louis Rams | Fantasy
The St. Louis Rams are ready and willing to approach a contract extension with QB Sam Bradford. However, he is in no rush to begin contract talks and would prefer to wait until he produces on the field before discussing dollars and cents. Bradford is prepared to play out the 2014 season before agreeing to an extension.

QB | Terrelle Pryor | Oakland Raiders | Injury, Fantasy
Oakland Raiders CB Terrelle Pryor (concussion) likely will not play in the team's Week 4 game because of the concussion he suffered Week 3.

Matt Flynn likely will get the start Week 4 but probably is not a starting option except for desperate owners in deeper leagues.

QB | Blaine Gabbert | Jacksonville Jaguars | Injury, Fantasy
Jacksonville Jaguars QB Blaine Gabbert (hand) practiced in full Thursday, Sept. 26.

QB | Geno Smith | New York Jets | Injury, Fantasy
New York Jets QB Geno Smith (ankle) practiced in full Thursday, Sept. 26.

Running Back

RB | Frank Gore | San Francisco 49ers | Fantasy
San Francisco 49ers RB Frank Gore rushed for 153 yards on 20 carries, including a 34-yard touchdown scamper, in the team's Week 4 win over the St. Louis Rams Thursday, Sept. 26. It was his highest yardage total since 2009.

The Niners fell behind early last week against the Indianapolis Colts and went away from Gore and the run. Gore wasn't happy about it. The coaching staff made it a point to get him more involved last night, and Gore made a statement. He sent a notice that he's not over the hill just yet, as long as he gets enough touches.

RB | Ahmad Bradshaw | Indianapolis Colts | Injury, Fantasy
Indianapolis Colts RB Ahmad Bradshaw (neck) was not seen during the media's portion of practice Friday, Sept. 27.

Looks like Trent Richardson's value boosts a bit this week. With a full week of practice, and the load on his shoulders, he looks to be a low-end RB1.

RB | Bilal Powell | New York Jets | Injury, Fantasy
The New York Jets are expected to use RB Bilal Powell as the featured back the next two weeks while they bring RB Chris Ivory (hamstring) and suspended RB Mike Goodson are brought back slowly. Running back coach Anthony Lynn said Powell can be used in most situations. "He's always had a skill set that can cover - between the tackles, outside the tackles, receiving skills, blocking skills. He has a complete skill set, and that allows him to stay on the field. Even if he's not the feature back he would be on the field a lot," Lynn said. Powell said he entered the season more prepared which has allowed him to play faster and be more comfortable.

RB | Marshawn Lynch | Seattle Seahawks | Injury, Fantasy
Seattle Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch (non-injury) fully participated in practice Thursday, Sept. 26.

RB | Mark Ingram | New Orleans Saints | Injury, Fantasy
New Orleans Saints RB Mark Ingram (toe) did not participate in practice Thursday, Sept. 26.

RB | Ben Tate | Houston Texans | Injury, Fantasy
Houston Texans RB Ben Tate (shoulder) fully participated in practice Thursday, Sept. 26.

RB | Arian Foster | Houston Texans | Injury, Fantasy
Houston Texans RB Arian Foster (thumb) fully participated in practice Thursday, Sept. 26.

RB | Adrian Peterson | Minnesota Vikings | Fantasy
Minnesota Vikings RB Adrian Peterson (non-injury) was limited in practice Thursday, Sept. 26.

AD is just receiving a mid-week breather. Keep him in your Sunday lineups.

RB | Le'Veon Bell | Pittsburgh Steelers | Injury, Fantasy
Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell (foot) practiced in full Thursday, Sept. 26.

Bell owners should be happy that he's expected to make his season debut ahead of schedule. However, temper your expectations in this one; Pittsburgh's bye is next week, so they're unlikely to give him a heavy workload. Be safe and leave him on your bench.

RB | BenJarvus Green-Ellis | Cincinnati Bengals | Injury, Fantasy
Cincinnati Bengals RB BenJarvus Green-Ellis (ankle) fully participated in practice Thursday, Sept. 26.

RB | Rashard Mendenhall | Arizona Cardinals | Injury, Fantasy
Arizona Cardinals RB Rashard Mendenhall (toe) fully participated in practice Thursday, Sept. 26.

RB | Reggie Bush | Detroit Lions | Injury, Fantasy
Updating a previous report, Detroit Lions RB Reggie Bush (knee) practiced in full Thursday, Sept. 26.

Bush may be limited a bit in the game Sunday, but he's fully expected to play, which is enough to make you comfortable putting him back in your starting lineup.

RB | Maurice Jones-Drew | Jacksonville Jaguars | Injury, Fantasy
Jacksonville Jaguars RB Maurice Jones-Drew (ankle) was limited in practice Thursday, Sept. 26.

It's a good sign that he was limited after missing practice yesterday. Expect MJD to suit up again this weekend. As long as Jones-Drew is playing, he should be in your lineup.

RB | Ray Rice | Baltimore Ravens | Injury, Fantasy
Baltimore Ravens RB Ray Rice (hip) was limited in practice Thursday, Sept. 26.

RB | C.J. Spiller | Buffalo Bills | Injury, Fantasy
Buffalo Bills RB C.J. Spiller (quadriceps) fully participated in practice Thursday, Sept. 26.

There is no reason to think Spiller wonít play at this point, and he still needs to be in your starting lines ups.

Fullback

FB | John Conner | New York Giants | Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
New York Giants FB John Conner may not be ready to take on a full load of responsibilities during the Sunday, Sept. 29, game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Expect HB Bear Pascoe to get the start if Conner isn't ready.

Wide Receiver

WR | Miles Austin | Dallas Cowboys | Injury, Fantasy
Dallas Cowboys WR Miles Austin (hamstring) is not practicing Friday, Sept. 27.

It doesn't look good for him in Week 4. We'd suggest you sit him. Even if he plays, what kind of capacity can you expect him to play in? Probably limited.

WR | T.Y. Hilton | Indianapolis Colts | Injury, Fantasy
Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (foot) is out of practice Friday, Sept. 27, with his right foot in a walking boot.

This is concerning, and it sounds very much like he'll be out this week.

WR | Mike Williams | Tampa Bay Buccaneers | Injury, Fantasy
Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Williams (hamstring) returned to practice Friday, Sept. 27. He looks good to go for Week 4.

WR | Vincent Jackson | Tampa Bay Buccaneers | Injury, Fantasy
Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Vincent Jackson (ribs) returned to practice Friday, Sept. 27. He looks good to go for Week 4.

WR | Andre Johnson | Houston Texans | Injury, Fantasy
Houston Texans WR Andre Johnson (shin) thinks he'll play in Week 4.

WR | Hakeem Nicks | New York Giants | Fantasy
New York Giants WR Hakeem Nicks needs 86 yards receiving to hit the 4,000 mark for his career.

WR | Stevie Johnson | Buffalo Bills | Injury, Fantasy
Buffalo Bills WR Stevie Johnson (hamstring) said he is day-to-day with his hamstring injury and is getting as much treatment as possible in hopes to be able to play Week 4.

Owners will have to monitor his status over the next few days as well as the team's inactive list to see if he will play in the game. If he is able to play in the game, he could be limited because of the injury.

WR | Danny Amendola | New England Patriots | Injury, Fantasy
New England Patriots WR Danny Amendola (groin) was limited during practice Thursday, Sept. 26.

WR | Marques Colston | New Orleans Saints | Injury, Fantasy
New Orleans Saints WR Marques Colston (foot) fully participated in practice Thursday, Sept. 26.

WR | Lance Moore | New Orleans Saints | Injury, Fantasy
New Orleans Saints WR Lance Moore (hand) did not participate in practice Thursday, Sept. 26.

WR | Leonard Hankerson | Washington Redskins | Injury, Fantasy
Washington Redskins WR Leonard Hankerson (hamstring) practiced in full Thursday, Sept. 26.

WR | Josh Gordon | Cleveland Browns | Injury, Fantasy
Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon (ankle) fully participated in practice Thursday, Sept. 26.

WR | Riley Cooper | Philadelphia Eagles | Fantasy
Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly had some good things to say about WR Riley Cooper, who has only six catches and 16 targets in three games this year. "Riley's done an unbelievable job, especially blocking on the perimeter, great red zone target for us," Kelly said.

WR | Denard Robinson | Jacksonville Jaguars | Fantasy
The Jacksonville Jaguars are now listing RB Denard Robinson as a wide receiver on their depth chart, instead of "offensive weapon."

It's a bit intriguing, but there really isn't anything to see here, folks. Move along.

WR | Julio Jones | Atlanta Falcons | Injury, Fantasy
Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones (knee) was limited during practice Thursday, Sept. 26.

WR | Kenny Britt | Tennessee Titans | Injury, Fantasy
Tennessee Titans WR Kenny Britt (neck, ribs) was limited in practice Thursday, Sept. 26.

Things just aren't going Britt's way this season. Even though he could still play this weekend against the New York Jets, he shouldn't be relied on in fantasy circles. You might be best off dumping him and searching from wideouts in better situations.

WR | Larry Fitzgerald | Arizona Cardinals | Injury, Fantasy
Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (hamstring) fully participated in practice Thursday, Sept. 26.

WR | Calvin Johnson | Detroit Lions | Fantasy
Detroit Lions WR Calvin Johnson is set to match up against Chicago Bears CB Charles Tillman this weekend. However, Tillman doesn't expect to be matched up against Johnson the entire game.

WR | Stephen Hill | New York Jets | Injury, Fantasy
New York Jets WR Stephen Hill (knee) practiced in full Thursday, Sept. 26.

WR | Santonio Holmes | New York Jets | Injury, Fantasy
New York Jets WR Santonio Holmes (foot) did not practice Thursday, Sept. 26.

Holmes was likely just being rested Thursday, but he has admitted that he's not 100 percent healthy. Keep that in mind when considering him for your starting lineup. However, Geno Smith and the Jets have impressed, so Holmes is at least worthy of a flex spot moving forward.

WR | Dwayne Harris | Dallas Cowboys | Injury, Fantasy
Dallas Cowboys WR Dwayne Harris (hip) did not practice Thursday, Sept. 26.

WR | Malcom Floyd | San Diego Chargers | Injury, Fantasy
San Diego Chargers WR Malcom Floyd (neck) did not practice Thursday, Sept. 26.

WR | Wes Welker | Denver Broncos | Injury, Fantasy
Denver Broncos WR Wes Welker (ankle) practiced in full Thursday, Sept. 26.

WR | Demaryius Thomas | Denver Broncos | Injury, Fantasy
Denver Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas (ankle) practiced in full Thursday, Sept. 26.

WR | Eric Decker | Denver Broncos | Injury, Fantasy
Denver Broncos WR Eric Decker (shoulder) practiced in full Thursday, Sept. 26.

WR | Marlon Brown | Baltimore Ravens | Injury, Fantasy
Baltimore Ravens WR Marlon Brown (neck) practiced in full Thursday, Sept. 26.

Brown was upgraded to a full practice today, which is a great sign that he'll be available in Week 4 against the Buffalo Bills. Brown is a nice flex option in deep leagues.

WR | Roddy White | Atlanta Falcons | Injury, Fantasy
Atlanta Falcons WR Roddy White (ankle) was limited in practice Thursday, Sept. 16.

Itís a good sign that White is on the practice field, but it is tough to play him again until he fully healthy and practicing regularly.

Tight End

TE | Rob Gronkowski | New England Patriots | Injury, Fantasy
A source said the outlook of New England Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski (back, forearm) playing in Week 4 is not optimistic.

And the saga continues... we'll keep you posted.

TE | Fred Davis | Washington Redskins | Injury, Fantasy
Updating a previous report, Washington Redskins TE Fred Davis (ankle) said his injured ankle is still sore. Davis has been limited during practice the last two days.

TE | Zach Sudfeld | New England Patriots | Injury, Fantasy

TE | Owen Daniels | Houston Texans | Injury, Fantasy
Houston Texans TE Owen Daniels (non-injury) was limited during practice Thursday, Sept. 26.

TE | Jordan Reed | Washington Redskins | Injury, Fantasy
Washington Redskins TE Jordan Reed (thigh) did not practice Thursday, Sept. 26.

TE | Heath Miller | Pittsburgh Steelers | Injury, Fantasy
Pittsburgh Steelers TE Heath Miller (knee) was limited in practice Thursday, Sept. 26.

Miller should be back to a near full workload on game day in Week 4. Going up against a weak and injured Minnesota Vikings secondary, Miller could put up low-end TE1 numbers in London.

TE | Delanie Walker | Tennessee Titans | Injury, Fantasy
Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker (toe) did not practice Thursday, Sept. 26.

Walker was in a walking boot on Monday, which isn't good news. The matchup against the New York Jets isn't ideal, either. It's shaping up so that Walker is a very weak play this weekend. Look elsewhere.

TE | Brandon Pettigrew | Detroit Lions | Fantasy
Detroit Lions TEs Tony Scheffler, Brandon Pettigrew and Joseph Fauria may have bigger roles after WR Nate Burleson (arm) suffered a broken arm in a car accident. Scheffler had a season-high 21 snaps in Week 3 against the Washington Redskins after playing only four plays in the season opener and 17 snaps in Week 2. He has only been thrown to three times. Scheffler has lined up as a traditional tight end and in the slot so far this season.

Scheffler could see more looks, but with Pettigrew also in the picture, the chances that it'll be enough to make him fantasy relevant are remote.

TE | Kellen Winslow | New York Jets | Injury, Fantasy
New York Jets TE Kellen Winslow (knee) was limited in practice Thursday, Sept. 26.

TE | Joel Dreessen | Denver Broncos | Injury, Fantasy
Denver Broncos CB Tony Carter (ankle), CB Champ Bailey (foot) and TE Joel Dreessen (knee) were limited in practice Thursday, Sept. 26.
