Which Giants RB should I stash for week10 and on? Wilson or Brown. Or neither cause Jacobs?
My optimism for David Wilson (neck) returning during a lost season by the New York Giants is waning. Andre Brown, all things equal, is the most complete back in this trio, but that pesky thing called "health" gets in his way. Brandon Jacobs' showing against the Chicago Bears on Thursday was much more the result of a depleted defensive front than it was a Jacobs revival. Sure, maybe he's physically better than he has been in awhile, but against competent run-stuffers, that won't matter much.
If you need immediate help -- this is typically the best way to go -- choose Jacobs, just for his opportunity. (Also, don't worry about Peyton Hillis or Michael Cox yet.) If your RBs are in a solid situation, however, and you don't want to invest much in the bruiser with the shaky offensive line in front of him, go with Brown (leg), who can't return until Week 10 but looks like a solid bet he'll be on time. At least he should also catch some passes.
Of course, knowing his track record, you might not get the chance to use him in 2013.
