QB | Michael Vick | Philadelphia Eagles | Injury, Fantasy
Philadelphia Eagles QB Michael Vick (hamstring) has been ruled out of the team's Week 10 game.
Not a surprise, get Nick Foles into your lineup for Week 10, and moving forward.
QB | Jason Campbell | Cleveland Browns | Injury, Fantasy
Cleveland Browns QB Jason Campbell (ribs) will likely practice Tuesday, Nov. 5, before the team heads into their bye week after bruising his ribs in Week 9. Campbell was knocked out of the game against the Baltimore Ravens for four offensive plays. He went 23-for-35 for 262 yards and a career-high three touchdowns.
Campbell should be fine when the team returns in Week 11. He has performed well in his two starts as the starting quarterback, and Brandon Weeden isn't posing any threat to take his job anytime soon.
QB | EJ Manuel | Buffalo Bills | Injury, Fantasy
Buffalo Bills head coach Doug Marrone said the coaching staff will evaluate how QB EJ Manuel (knee) is moving around during practice before deciding on his status for Week 10. Marrone said Manuel has been cleared to play, but the coaches will determine his readiness to play.
QB | Peyton Manning | Denver Broncos | Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
Denver Broncos interim head coach Jack Del Rio will still make the defensive calls on game day, and will still keep the role of defensive coordinator. Del Rio will also work closely with QB Peyton Manning and the other quarterbacks on the roster.
QB | Case Keenum | Houston Texans | Fantasy
Houston Texans QB Case Keenum impressed in the team's disappointing Week 9 loss to the Indianapolis Colts. He showed his willingness to attack the defense deep and displayed a nice connection with WR Andre Johnson, tossing him three touchdown passes. Keenum made the right reads, had nice pocket presence and showed a quick release.
Keenum went 20-for-34 for 350 yards and three touchdowns against the Colts. He has shown a very strong arm and is extremely athletic moving around and outside the pocket. He's a decent bye-week filler or second quarterback in two-QB leagues.
QB | Tony Romo | Dallas Cowboys | Fantasy
The Dallas Cowboys and QB Tony Romo threw the ball 52 times in their Week 9 win over the Minnesota Vikings and ran the ball just nine times. It's the first time Romo has won a game when he's thrown over 50 passes in a game since 2007.
The Cowboys' offense remains uneven in terms of play calling. Perhaps they didn't want to overwork DeMarco Murray (knee) in his first game back.
QB | Robert Griffin III | Washington Redskins | Fantasy
Washington Redskins QB Robert Griffin III completed 71.9 percent of his passes and wasn't sacked at all for the first time this season in Week 9.
QB | Christian Ponder | Minnesota Vikings | Fantasy
Minnesota Vikings QB Christian Ponder will start in Week 10.
QB | Tom Brady | New England Patriots | Fantasy
New England Patriots QB Tom Brady set two milestones in his team's 55-31 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, It marked the sixth time that New England scored at least 50 points in a game started by Brady, tying Len Dawson for the most 50-point games by a starting QB in NFL history. Brady also threw four touchdowns and no interceptions, marking the 15th time in his career that he has had four or more touchdowns without an interception. Brady passed Drew Brees (14) for the most such games in NFL history. Brady has now had 19 games with at least four touchdown passes, a total that ranks fifth in NFL history.
QB | Terrelle Pryor | Oakland Raiders | Injury, Fantasy
Updating a previous report, Oakland Raiders QB Terrelle Pryor (knee) said Sunday, Nov. 3, that he left the Week 9 game against the Philadelphia Eagles in the fourth quarter as a precaution. He isn't concerned, and said the knee felt stable. Pryor will be evaluated Monday, Nov. 4.
RB | David Wilson | New York Giants | Injury, Fantasy
Updating a previous report, an MRI showed RB David Wilson (neck) significant improvement in his recovery from a neck injury, but he has not been cleared to resume football activities at this point. Wilson will undergo another evaluation in a few weeks.
Wilson will be out for a few more weeks, so Andre Brown, Peyton Hillis and Brandon Jacobs will handle the carries for now. Brown is expected to be activated this week and should be owned in all leagues. Hillis and Jacobs likely will see their fantasy value drop because of the return of Brown. If you've been stashing Wilson, this might be the time to give up if you're in need of the roster space.
RB | Doug Martin | Tampa Bay Buccaneers | Injury, Fantasy
Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Greg Schiano said RB Doug Martin (shoulder) has a chance to play Week 10.
Owners should monitor Martin's practice participation this week to get an idea about his status for the game.
RB | C.J. Spiller | Buffalo Bills | Injury, Fantasy
Buffalo Bills head coach Doug Marrone said RB C.J. Spiller (ankle) felt good after the team's Week 9 game.
RB | Maurice Jones-Drew | Jacksonville Jaguars | Fantasy
Jacksonville Jaguars RB Maurice Jones-Drew is on the stationary bike at practice Monday, Nov. 4.
RB | Mike James | Tampa Bay Buccaneers | Fantasy
Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB Mike James rushed 28 times for 158 yards against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 9.
This is the second straight week a rusher has torched the Seattle defense. James has little in the form of competition in Tampa and is a good RB3 right now.
RB | Jonathan Stewart | Carolina Panthers | Fantasy
Carolina Panthers RBs DeAngelo Williams, Jonathan Stewart and Mike Tolbert had 13, nine and six carries, respectively, in Week 9.
All three are worth rostering, but Williams appears to be losing his grip as the most utilized back. Stewart was effective in his first action and should continue to cut into Williams' share.
RB | Rashad Jennings | Oakland Raiders | Injury, Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
Oakland Raiders RB Rashad Jennings carried 15 times for 102 yards and a touchdown in Week 9 against the Philadelphia Eagles, coming on for the injured RB Darren McFadden (hamstring). Jennings also added seven catches for 74 yards.
Jennings should be added in all fantasy leagues, as he had an impressive performance. He could make for a nice low-end RB2 or flex fantasy option if he gets the start in Week 10 against the New York Giants, and he is a solid RB2 option in points-per-reception (PPR) leagues.
RB | Mark Ingram | New Orleans Saints | Injury, Fantasy
New Orleans Saints RB Mark Ingram (toe) made his return in Week 9 against the New York Jets, but he carried just four times for 19 yards and he did not have any receptions while being targeted just once.
Ingram did little, but at least he did something. He is unplayable if you're a fantasy owner, though. The Saints likely wanted to walk across the field and try to get Chris Ivory back. He wrecked the Saints rushing defense for 139 yards and a touchdown.
RB | Ben Tate | Houston Texans | Injury, Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
Houston Texans RB Ben Tate (rib) is expected to be active for the Week 9 game against the Indianapolis Colts, but RB Arian Foster (hamstring) will also apparently be active, according to a source.
Tate was looking like a solid fantasy option until the news that Foster would likely be available. Foster and Tate are expected to split carries, since they've both been banged up. Consider both an RB2 or flex fantasy option.
WR | Leonard Hankerson | Washington Redskins | Injury, Fantasy
Washington Redskins WR Leonard Hankerson (hamstring) was limited during practice Monday, Nov. 4. The team did not practice Monday and this is an estimation.
WR | Robert Woods | Buffalo Bills | Injury, Fantasy
Buffalo Bills head coach Doug Marrone said WRs Marquise Goodwin (hamstring) and Robert Woods (ankle) will be monitored this week after suffering injuries in the team's Week 9 game.
WR | Aaron Dobson | New England Patriots | Fantasy
New England Patriots WR Aaron Dobson got all of the snaps over an inactive WR Kenbrell Thompkins in the Week 9 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Dobson caught five passes for 130 yards and two touchdowns and was targeted nine times by Brady. With Danny Amendola and Rob Gronkowski back in the lineup and healthy, it makes the Patriots passing attack very dynamic. Dobson should be owned in all deeper leagues and is a valuable commodity now that New England is clicking on all cylinders.
WR | Percy Harvin | Seattle Seahawks | Injury, Fantasy
Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said WR Percy Harvin (hip) will run hard Monday, Nov. 4, but is still considered day-to-day at this point.
WR | Darrius Heyward-Bey | Indianapolis Colts | Injury, Fantasy
Indianapolis Colts WR Darrius Heyward-Bey (head) was being evaluated for a concussion after the team's Week 9 game, but head coach Chuck Pagano said Heyward-Bey was cleared.
This is something to keep an eye on during the week. If he can't play in Week 10, Griff Whalen and Coby Fleener will become more important options in the passing game.
WR | Greg Little | Cleveland Browns | Injury, Fantasy
Cleveland Browns WR Greg Little (shoulder) suffered a shoulder injury in the team's Week 9 game. Little hopes to be able to practice Tuesday, Nov. 5, despite dealing with a minor shoulder sprain.
WR | Nate Washington | Tennessee Titans | Fantasy
Tennessee Titans WR Nate Washington went without a catch in Week 9 against the St. Louis Rams, ending a streak of 85 consecutive games with at least one grab.
WR | Justin Blackmon | Jacksonville Jaguars | Injury, Fantasy
Jacksonville Jaguars WR Justin Blackmon will enter a rehab facility, a league source said Sunday, Nov. 3. Blackmon was suspended indefinitely Friday, Nov. 1, for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy, and he will be eligible to apply for reinstatement prior to the start of next season.
WR | Roddy White | Atlanta Falcons | Injury, Fantasy
Updating a previous report, Atlanta Falcons WR Roddy White (ankle, hamstring) ran some routes before the Week 9 game against the Carolina Panthers, but he went back to the locker room after discussing his status with head coach Mike Smith and receivers coach Terry Robiskie. "We did work Roddy out before the game. We made the decision that we felt like it was in the best interest for Roddy and our football team, long term, not to go," Smith said Sunday, Nov. 3.
WR | Jeremy Kerley | New York Jets | Injury, Fantasy
New York Jets WR Jeremy Kerley (elbow) suffered an elbow injury in the Week 9 game against the New Orleans Saints, and the team is awaiting test results. The team fears Kerley's injury is serious.
WR | Rod Streater | Oakland Raiders | Injury, Fantasy
Oakland Raiders head coach Dennis Allen said Sunday, Nov. 3, that WR Rod Streater (hip) suffered a hip injury in the Week 9 game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
TE | Julius Thomas | Denver Broncos | Injury, Fantasy
Denver Broncos TE Julius Thomas (ankle) will not practice Monday, Nov. 4, due to a mild ankle sprain suffered in Week 8.
There is still plenty of time this week for Thomas to return to practice. If he's in the lineup this Sunday against the San Diego Chargers, he should be in your starting lineup.
TE | John Carlson | Minnesota Vikings | Injury, Fantasy
Minnesota Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier said TE Kyle Rudolph (foot) has a fractured foot and could miss as much as a month.
John Carlson likely will take over as the starting tight end while Rudolph is out. Carlson probably will only have minimal value in deeper leagues.
TE | Jake Ballard | Arizona Cardinals | Transaction, Free Agents, Fantasy
The Arizona Cardinals signed free-agent TE Jake Ballard (Patriots) to an undisclosed one-year deal Monday, Nov. 4, and released TE D.C. Jefferson in a corresponding move.
TE | Rob Gronkowski | New England Patriots | Fantasy
New England Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski, despite his nine-catch, 143-yard, one-touchdown performance in Week 9, played only 48 of 75 offensive snaps against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He's still working his way back from four surgeries on his left forearm, and he was battling a hamstring injury last week. "It felt good getting more games under me and I'm feeling good, getting better every week," Gronkowski said. "When we're clicking, we're clicking and it's awesome." The Patriots ran 36 of their 75 plays with two tight ends on the field.
Gronkowski makes the Patriots so much more dynamic on offense and also benefits the running game tremendously. With him back and getting close to full strength, the Pats have become a much stronger offense. Gronk is a no-brainer must-start on a weekly basis.
TE | Jordan Cameron | Cleveland Browns | Fantasy
Cleveland Browns TE Jordan Cameron had one catch for 4 yards in Week 9.
His production in recent weeks has been spotty in recent weeks with the quarterback carousel. He clearly is receiving more attention from defenses than he was early on in his breakout performances. He's still a solid TE1, but he may be in the middle of the pack now.
TE | Jimmy Graham | New Orleans Saints | Injury, Fantasy
New Orleans Saints TE Jimmy Graham (foot) was limited in Week 8, but that wasn't the case in Week 9 against the New York Jets. He exploded for game-highs with nine receptions, 116 yards and two scores in his team's loss. He was targeted 12 times.
Fantasy owners are pleased that Graham is back. When he is 100 percent healthy, or anything close to it, he is easily the top fantasy option at his position this season.
PK | Nick Folk | New York Jets | Fantasy
New York Jets PK Nick Folk booted four more field goals (39, 21, 47, 45) and two extra points in the Week 9 game against the New Orleans Saints. Foles remains perfect this season, converting all 23 of his field goals and all 14 of his extra points.
Folk was once one of the Top 5 options in fantasy football, and he appears to have re-emerged as a must-start this season.
