QB | Kirk Cousins | Washington Redskins | Transaction, Fantasy
Washington Redskins QB Kirk Cousins completed only 19 of his 49 pass attempts for 169 yards with two interceptions and a lost fumble in the Week 17 game against the New York Giants. His record dropped to 0-3 as a starter this season. Beat writer Tarik El-Bashir feels that previous talk of Cousins being traded for a second-round draft pick might have been premature.

San Diego Chargers RB Ryan Mathews had a career-high 144 rushing yards in Week 17.

RB | LeSean McCoy | Philadelphia Eagles | Fantasy
Philadelphia Eagles RB LeSean McCoy notched his third 100-yard rushing performance in the last four games (27 carries, 131 yards) and seventh of the season in his team's 24-22 win over the Dallas Cowboys. McCoy won the NFL rushing title going away, finishing with a franchise-record 1,607 yards, easily beating Chicago Bears RB Matt Forte, who finished with 1,339. "I usually just hand the ball to the (referee). I told him … 'I want to keep this one,' " said Grimes, who rushed 16 times and caught all six of his targeted passes. "It was my first one and I wanted to bring that home to my pops."

RB | Matt Asiata | Minnesota Vikings | Fantasy
Minnesota Vikings RB Matt Asiata carried 14 times for 115 yards in the Week 17 game against the Detroit Lions.

Asiata finished the season strong, getting a long look with both RBs Adrian Peterson and Toby Gerhart sidelined by injuries. However, as long as Peterson is in Minneapolis, and healthy, it is hard to imagine Asiata having much of a role.

RB | Reggie Bush | Detroit Lions | Fantasy
Detroit Lions RB Reggie Bush is the first Lions running back to go over 1,000 rushing yards and 500 receiving yards in a season since RB Billy Sims back in 1980.

Bush carried 14 times for 32 yards in the Week 17 game against the Minnesota Vikings, and he added five receptions for 33 yards and a touchdown.

RB | Chris Johnson | Tennessee Titans | Fantasy

He's going to need another receiver to help take some attention away from him if he's going to take the next step in 2014.

WR | Miles Austin | Dallas Cowboys | Fantasy
Dallas Cowboys WR Miles Austin caught two passes for 22 yards to give him 301 career receptions, and he became the 10th Dallas Cowboy to reach 300 career catches. He also passed Doug Cosbie (300) for ninth all-time in franchise history.

Patterson emerged as a fantasy must-start down the stretch, and he'll be a highly coveted option in long-term keeper formats.

WR | Calvin Johnson | Detroit Lions | Injury, Fantasy
Detroit Lions head coach Jim Schwartz said Sunday, Dec. 29, that WR Calvin Johnson (knee) will need offseason knee surgery, but the procedure is not considered "major."

WR | Jerrel Jernigan | New York Giants | Fantasy
New York Giants WR Jerrel Jernigan finished the regular season with a first-half touchdown reception and 49-yard touchdown run in the Week 17 game against the Washington Redskins.

Jernigan emerged as a legitimate weapon down the stretch, and might lessen the blow if the team elects now to bring back Hakeem Nicks. Jernigan could be quite the fantasy sleeper in 2014 depending on the team's offseason moves at the position.

WR | Hakeem Nicks | New York Giants | Injury, Fantasy
New York Giants WR Hakeem Nicks (ankle) left the Week 17 game with an ankle injury and is questionable to return.

Tight End

TE | Owen Daniels | Houston Texans | Transaction, Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
Houston Texans TE Owen Daniels has one more year on his contract at $4.5 million cash that comes with a $6.25 million cap hit. The Texans might not be able to keep both Daniels and TE Garrett Graham, and another team could afford to pay Graham like a starting tight end. The team would save only somewhere around $3.5 million in cap space if they released Daniels, but he might be a good influence on TE Ryan Griffin's development. Beat writer Tania Ganguli feels that it makes sense for the team to bring Daniels back in 2014.

TE | Delanie Walker | Tennessee Titans | Fantasy
Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker finished the season with a career-high 60 receptions, joining former TE Frank Wycheck as the only other tight end in franchise history with 60 or more receptions.

TE | Jordan Cameron | Cleveland Browns | Injury, Fantasy
Cleveland Browns TE Jordan Cameron (concussion) is active for the team's Week 17 game.

Cameron missed last week because of the concussion but is expected to start. Owners should view Cameron as a risky low-end No. 1 tight end or a flex option.

TE | Jermaine Gresham | Cincinnati Bengals | Injury, Fantasy
Cincinnati Bengals TEs Tyler Eifert (neck) and Jermaine Gresham (hamstring) will not play Week 17 because of injuries.

E. Alex Smith likely will start at tight end but should be used in any fantasy leagues. Owners should look for other options if they have Eifert or Gresham on their team.

Offensive Tackle

OT | Joe Thomas | Cleveland Browns | Transaction
Cleveland Browns OT Joe Thomas expressed his frustration about rumors the team would relieve head coach Rob Chudzinski of his duties. The team later fired the coach Sunday, Dec. 29, following the Week 17 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. "You look at the great franchises. They don't fire your coach after the first season. You can't do it," Thomas said. "It sets everything back. You just hit the reset button. Anytime you hit the reset button, it severely damages the organization, and it lengthens the amount of time that it takes to get back to the playoffs and turn the team into a consistent winner."

OT | William Beatty | New York Giants | Injury, Fantasy
Updating a previous report, New York Giants OT William Beatty (leg) has suffered a fractured right leg.

Defensive Line

DL | Jason Hatcher | Dallas Cowboys | Free Agents

Linebacker

LB | Daryl Washington | Arizona Cardinals | Transaction
Arizona Cardinals LB Daryl Washington played well after his four-game suspension for violating the league's substance-abuse policy. He is still awaiting resolution of his aggravated assault charge from last summer, and his next court date is scheduled for January. The team must decide in March whether to exercise a $10 million roster bonus on Washington, who is an alternate to the Pro Bowl.

He also returned two of his interceptions for touchdowns, doubling his career scoring total. He is 32, and will likely test the open market, although both sides have expressed interest in working out a deal. "I would love to come back," Dansbv said Monday, Dec. 30. "The future is bright. I have a couple of months and I will figure out what's going on."

LB | Clay Matthews | Green Bay Packers | Injury, Fantasy

LB | Brad Jones | Green Bay Packers | Injury
Green Bay Packers LB Brad Jones (ankle) appeared to be on his way to returning to action in Week 17 against the Chicago Bears, but head coach Mike McCarthy changed his mind. "Felt he'd have a chance to play. Just didn't think that Brad was ready," McCarthy said Monday, Dec. 30.

"We'll see, we'll see," Orakpo said. "This whole free agent thing is new to me. You got to understand, every year I was still under contract. I had a great time being a part of the Washington Redskins. I want to continue it, but who knows?"

Strong Safety

SS | Bernard Pollard | Tennessee Titans | Fantasy
If he is retained for 2014, Tennessee Titans coach Mike Munchak may have to look into shaking up his coaching staff. Defensive coordinator Jerry Gray and senior assistant/defense Gregg Williams both have expiring contracts, and Titans S Bernard Pollard said he couldn't see a scenario in which Gray and Williams work together next season. "Coach Williams was asked to come into a situation and be a voice, but at the same time, it's not his ship to run; it's Coach Gray's ship," Pollard said.

Free Safety

FS | Antrel Rolle | New York Giants | Transaction
New York Giants FS Antrel Rolle said Monday, Dec. 30, that he would be open to a contract extension with the team. He has one year left on his contract and is currently scheduled to cost the team $9.25 million against the salary cap in 2014.
