Quarterback

QB | Colin Kaepernick | San Francisco 49ers | Fantasy
San Francisco 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick threw for 228 yards in his team's 23-20 win over the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, Jan. 5. Kaepernick had a 28-yard touchdown pass to TE Vernon Davis, and he also ran for 98 yards in the win.

QB | Andy Dalton | Cincinnati Bengals | Fantasy
Cincinnati Bengals QB Andy Dalton's postseason struggles continued with one touchdown and three interceptions Sunday, Jan. 5, against the San Diego Chargers. That dropped his record in playoffs to 0-3 with one touchdown and five interceptions. Head coach Marvin Lewis, still looking for that first postseason win himself with an 0-5 record, backed Dalton in the tough moments after his toughest loss in 11 seasons when the inevitable question about the future of the quarterback was broached. "I don't have any questions about Andy's role in this thing. We just have to keep working it," Lewis said. "We've got to make sure we're doing everything to help Andy all the time. He's going to be very disappointed in himself today, obviously. He is the football team, and I'm sure he's very disappointed."

QB | Michael Vick | Philadelphia Eagles | Injury, Free Agents, Fantasy
The Philadelphia Eagles have 45 of 53 players on the active roster under contract or team control for next season. The only unrestricted free agents are QB Michael Vick, WR Riley Cooper, DL Clifton Geathers, S Nate Allen, S Kurt Coleman, and P Donnie Jones. Injured WR Jeremy Maclin and LB Phillip Hunt are also free agents.

QB | Ben Roethlisberger | Pittsburgh Steelers | Fantasy
The Pittsburgh Steelers are expected to offer QB Ben Roethlisberger a contract extension this offseason. Roethlisberger has two years left on his current contract.

Running Back

RB | Giovani Bernard | Cincinnati Bengals | Fantasy
Cincinnati Bengals RB Giovani Bernard had 118 scrimmage yards. His 73 receiving yards were a season-high and it was the fourth time this season he has gone over 100 yards in a game this season. Bernard also committed a costly fumble late in the first half of his team's 27-10 loss to the San Diego Chargers on Sunday, Jan. 5.

RB | LeSean McCoy | Philadelphia Eagles | Fantasy
The New Orleans Saints' defense held Philadelphia Eagles RB LeSean McCoy to 21 carries and 77 yards during the team's 26-24 win over the Eagles on Saturday, Jan. 4.

RB | Ryan Mathews | San Diego Chargers | Injury, Fantasy
San Diego Chargers RB Ryan Mathews (ankle) emerged from the locker room after the AFC Wild Card game against the Cincinnati Bengals Sunday, Jan. 5, wearing a protective walking boot on his left foot.

Mathews was limited to 52 rushing yards on 13 carries. After he left the game, Danny Woodhead and Ronnie Brown picked up the slack, each scoring a rushing touchdown. Woodhead will be especially attractive in daily fantasy formats if Mathews cannot go next week against the Denver Broncos.

RB | Marshawn Lynch | Seattle Seahawks | Fantasy
Seattle Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch was fined $50,000 by the NFL for not speaking to the media throughout the season.

Wide Receiver

WR | Marvin Jones | Cincinnati Bengals | Fantasy
Cincinnati Bengals WR Marvin Jones set a single postseason game Bengals record with 130 yards receiving on eight catches, breaking WR Cris Collinsworth's 120 set in a game against the New York Jets in 1982.

WR | Jeremy Maclin | Philadelphia Eagles | Injury, Free Agents, Fantasy
The Philadelphia Eagles have 45 of 53 players on the active roster under contract or team control for next season. The only unrestricted free agents are QB Michael Vick, WR Riley Cooper, DL Clifton Geathers, S Nate Allen, S Kurt Coleman, and P Donnie Jones. Injured WR Jeremy Maclin and LB Phillip Hunt are also free agents.

WR | Emmanuel Sanders | Pittsburgh Steelers | Draft, Free Agents
The Pittsburgh Steelers could draft a wide receiver in one of the first three rounds of the 2014 NFL Draft because WRs Emmanuel Sanders and Jerricho Cotchery will be free agents this offseason.

WR | Sammy Watkins | NFL Draft Prospect | Draft
Clemson WR Sammy Watkins will enter the 2014 NFL draft.

Place Kicker

PK | Alex Henery | Philadelphia Eagles | Fantasy
Philadelphia Eagles PK Alex Henery finished the 2013 season having converted 82.6 percent of his field-goal attempts, a career low in three seasons in Philadelphia. After three full seasons, Henery has converted just 2-for-5 attempts from 50 yards or beyond. At the end of the game Saturday, Jan. 4, coach Chip Kelly was reluctant to talk about the future of his kicker but admitted his dissatisfaction with how Henery hit kickoffs during the loss. "We'll address that moving forward," Kelly said after Saturday's loss. "We're not playing a game tomorrow."

Defensive Line

DL | Mike Neal | Green Bay Packers | Injury
Updating a previous report, Green Bay Packers DE Mike Neal (knee) and CB Sam Shields (knee) have been ruled out for the remainder of the NFC Wild Card game against the San Francisco 49ers Sunday, Jan. 5. They each left in the first half with knee injuries.

Linebacker

LB | LaMarr Woodley | Pittsburgh Steelers | Transaction
The Pittsburgh Steelers might release LB LaMarr Woodley in June to pick up another $8 million in cap savings to use for the 2014 season.

LB | Aldon Smith | San Francisco 49ers | Injury
San Francisco 49ers LB Aldon Smith (cramps) cramped up in the third quarter of the NFC Wild Card game against the Green Bay Packers Sunday, Jan. 5. He is considered questionable to return.

LB | Justin Houston | Kansas City Chiefs | Injury

Cornerback

CB | Sam Shields | Green Bay Packers | Injury

CB | Antonio Cromartie | New York Jets | Free Agents
New York Jets CB Antonio Cromartie is telling teammates he expects to be released this offseason, but hopes to be re-signed after testing the free-agent market.

Strong Safety

SS | Troy Polamalu | Pittsburgh Steelers | Transaction
The Pittsburgh Steelers could release SS Troy Polamalu and CB Ike Taylor, or ask one or both to take salary cuts. Releasing Polamalu would save the team $8.25 million, and Taylor would save $7 million.

Free Safety

FS | LaRon Landry | Indianapolis Colts | Injury
Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano said FS LaRon Landry (concussion) is taking part in the concussion protocol after suffering a concussion during the Wild Card playoff game. Landry will have to pass all of the concussion tests before being cleared to play.

Offensive Coordinator

OC | Jay Gruden | Cincinnati Bengals | Fantasy

All three are potential candidates for the Washington Redskins' vacant head coaching job.

OC | Ken Whisenhunt | San Diego Chargers | Transaction
Updating a previous report, the Detroit Lions are interested in San Diego Chargers offensive coordinator Ken Whisenhunt, and it is his job to lose, according to a source close to the situation. However, the Lions cannot hire Whisenhunt until after the Chargers' season is over, and they advanced to the divisional round to face the Denver Broncos next weekend.
