Quarterback

QB | Christian Ponder | Minnesota Vikings | Injury, Fantasy
Minnesota Vikings QB Christian Ponder (shoulder) thinks he can be ready to return in Week 11 against the Seattle Seahawks after dislocating his left shoulder in the team's Week 10 game Thursday, Nov. 7. "My expectations are, I'm going to be back next week," Ponder said. "We've got a great athletic training staff. They're going to do me right. I'm going to do everything I can to be back next Sunday."

That's an optimistic view, but the Vikes will have a long week ahead in order to get Ponder ready. It remains to be seen if that'll happen. Ponder was in the midst of his best game this year, though, so if he somehow is ready to return, it wouldn't be surprise if Minnesota stuck with him. Against the Seahawks, though, whoever is starting for the Vikings shouldn't be an option for your starting QB spot.

QB | EJ Manuel | Buffalo Bills | Injury, Fantasy
Buffalo Bills QB EJ Manuel (knee) was announced the starter for Week 10.

QB | Philip Rivers | San Diego Chargers | Fantasy
San Diego Chargers QB Philip Rivers has 2,473 passing yards this season, and he is on pace to surpass Hall of Fame QB Dan Fouts (4,802 in 1981) for the team single-season record.

QB | Matt Ryan | Atlanta Falcons | Fantasy
Atlanta Falcons QB Matt Ryan has thrown seven interceptions the past two weeks, after being picked off only three times in the first six games of the season.

QB | Michael Vick | Philadelphia Eagles | Injury, Fantasy
Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly said QB Michael Vick (hamstring) is making progress in his rehab but has been limited to individual drills during practice this week.

QB | Peyton Manning | Denver Broncos | Injury, Fantasy
Denver Broncos QB Peyton Manning (ankle) practiced in full Thursday, Nov. 7.

QB | Terrelle Pryor | Oakland Raiders | Injury, Fantasy
Oakland Raiders QB Terrelle Pryor (knee) practiced in full Thursday, Nov. 7.

Pryor should be fine for the contest against the New York Giants. He'll be a borderline low-end QB1 if you're hurting at the quarterback position.

QB | Jay Cutler | Chicago Bears | Injury, Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
Chicago Bears QB Jay Cutler (groin) has been cleared to play, and is expected to start in the team's Week 10 game. Cutler fully participated in practice Thursday, Nov. 7.

If you have the luxury of waiting a week before you start Cutler, it may be the smart thing to do. He could be a low-end QB1 against the Detroit Lions though, if he is up to speed.

QB | Andrew Luck | Indianapolis Colts | Fantasy
Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck was sacked four times and hit 11 times in the team's Week 9 win over the Houston Texans, and the Colts have allowed 63 quarterback hits this year, the third most in the league. Luck has been sacked 19 times in 2013. "We have to be more consistent," head coach Chuck Pagano said. "Toward the end of that (Houston) game, when we're making big plays, we got things blocked up. Andrew has time, he can step up and make those big plays to T.Y. (Hilton). It's just a matter of doing it down after down on a consistent basis."

Running Back

RB | Trent Richardson | Indianapolis Colts | Injury, Fantasy
Indianapolis Colts RB Trent Richardson (ankle) returned to practice Friday, Nov. 8.

RB | Chris Ogbonnaya | Cleveland Browns | Fantasy
Cleveland Browns RB Chris Ogbonnaya will start receiving more carries and dip into RB Willis McGahee's workload. McGahee is averaging just 2.6 yards per carry in 100 rushes.

RB | Maurice Jones-Drew | Jacksonville Jaguars | Fantasy
Jacksonville Jaguars offensive coordinator Jedd Fisch said the plan is to give RB Maurice Jones-Drew 20 carries and RB Denard Robinson 14 carries per game.

RB | Denard Robinson | Jacksonville Jaguars | Fantasy
Jacksonville Jaguars offensive coordinator Jedd Fisch said the plan is to give RB Maurice Jones-Drew 20 carries and RB Denard Robinson 14 carries per game.

RB | Steven Jackson | Atlanta Falcons | Injury, Fantasy
Atlanta Falcons RB Steven Jackson must average 107.5 yards rushing over the last eight games to extend his streak of 1,000-yard seasons to eight in a row. He has just 140 yards in four games this season, having missed four others with an injury.

RB | James Starks | Green Bay Packers | Fantasy
Green Bay Packers RB James Starks is the only player in the NFL this season to post three touchdown runs of 25 yards or longer.

RB | Matt Forte | Chicago Bears | Fantasy
With 5,985 rushing yards to date, Chicago Bears RB Matt Forte needs 182 rushing yards to surpass RB Neal Anderson and go into second on the team's all-time rushing list.

RB | C.J. Spiller | Buffalo Bills | Injury, Fantasy
Buffalo Bills RB C.J. Spiller (ankle) is not on the injury report for the team's Week 10 game but said his ankle is not completely healed at this point. He said he believes his ankle is close to being 100 percent.

RB | Doug Martin | Tampa Bay Buccaneers | Injury, Fantasy
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will make a decision on RB Doug Martin (shoulder) before their Week 10 game and are leaning towards placing him on Injured Reserve. Martin likely will undergo surgery on his torn labrum in a few weeks if he is placed on IR.

RB | David Wilson | New York Giants | Injury, Fantasy
The New York Giants are not sure if RB David Wilson (neck) will need another surgery on his neck or if rest and rehab will allow the injury to heal before next season.

RB | Ryan Mathews | San Diego Chargers | Fantasy
San Diego Chargers RB Ryan Mathews is averaging 4.1 yards per carry this season but only has nine carries of at least 10 yards. Mathews is the only running back in the league with more than 100 carries that is averaging over four yards a carry and has so few carries of at least 10 yards.

RB | Frank Gore | San Francisco 49ers | Injury, Fantasy
San Francisco 49ers RB Frank Gore (ankle) fully participated in practice Thursday, Nov. 7.

RB | Marshawn Lynch | Seattle Seahawks | Injury, Fantasy
Seattle Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch (knee) fully participated in practice Thursday, Nov. 7.

RB | Darren Sproles | New Orleans Saints | Injury, Fantasy
New Orleans Saints RB Darren Sproles (concussion) fully participated in practice Thursday, Nov. 7.

RB | DeMarco Murray | Dallas Cowboys | Injury, Fantasy
Dallas Cowboys RB DeMarco Murray (knee) fully participated in practice Thursday, Nov. 7.

Murray should be able to play this week and should be in the starting lineup for most fantasy owners.

RB | Rashard Mendenhall | Arizona Cardinals | Injury, Fantasy
Arizona Cardinals RB Rashard Mendenhall (toe) was limited during practice Thursday, Nov. 7.

It looks like Mendenhall has a good chance to play this week but should only be considered as a flex option for owners.

RB | Ben Tate | Houston Texans | Injury, Fantasy
Houston Texans RB Ben Tate (ribs) was limited during practice Thursday, Nov. 7.

It looks like Tate has a good chance to play Week 10 and probably would be the starting running back because of the injury to Arian Foster. Tate should be considered a No. 2 running back or a flex option if he starts. Dennis Johnson could be an option in very deep leagues because he could get some playing time during the game.

RB | Knowshon Moreno | Denver Broncos | Injury, Fantasy
Denver Broncos RB Knowshon Moreno (ankle) practiced in full Thursday, Nov. 7.

RB | Zac Stacy | St. Louis Rams | Injury, Fantasy
St. Louis Rams RB Zac Stacy (foot) was limited in practice Thursday, Nov. 7.

Stacy expects to play versus the Indianapolis Colts and should be in your lineup as a flex, at worst, this weekend.

RB | Giovani Bernard | Cincinnati Bengals | Injury, Fantasy
Cincinnati Bengals RB Giovani Bernard (ribs) was limited in practice Thursday, Nov. 7.

RB | Andre Brown | New York Giants | Injury, Transaction, Fantasy
The New York Giants activated RB Andre Brown (leg) from the short-term Injured Reserve Thursday, Nov. 7, and placed DT Shaun Rogers (knee) on the Injured Reserve in a corresponding move.

It remains to be seen how much Brown will be used in his season debut against the Oakland Raiders this weekend, but he must be owned in all leagues. He'll become the main back in the second half of the season.

RB | Arian Foster | Houston Texans | Injury, Fantasy
Houston Texans RB Arian Foster (back) did not participate in practice Thursday, Nov. 7.

Not a good sign for Foster to play in Week 10, as he continues to try to get to the bottom of a back issue. Have another plan in place if you are a Foster owner.

RB | Darren McFadden | Oakland Raiders | Injury, Fantasy
Oakland Raiders RB Darren McFadden (hamstring) did not participate in practice Thursday, Nov. 7.

RB | Brandon Jacobs | New York Giants | Injury, Fantasy
New York Giants head coach Tom Coughlin said RB Brandon Jacobs (hamstring) was able to do some things in practice, but will have to see what he is able to do in practice Friday, Nov. 8, to determine his status.

RB | Mike James | Tampa Bay Buccaneers | Injury, Fantasy
Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Greg Schiano said the recent success of RB Mike James has no bearing on the decision whether RB Doug Martin (shoulder) plays again this year. Martin has been inactive since Oct. 20 and will need surgery on his left shoulder at some point in the offseason. James ran for 158 yards in Week 9 against the Seattle Seahawks and is averaging 4.6 yards on 55 carries.

RB | Ray Rice | Baltimore Ravens | Fantasy
Updating a previous report, Baltimore Ravens RB Ray Rice said he hasn't lost a step this season and said he's healthy, despite having 97 carries for only 259 yards this year, good for an average of 2.7 yards per carry. The Ravens rank 29th in the league in rushing offense. "If you watch the film, you'd understand that we've been playing pretty good fronts," he said. "We've got eight games left, and that's my focus now." A hip flexor strain in Week 2 limited his explosiveness, but he said he's been feeling fine in recent weeks. RB Bernard Pierce has averaged only 2.7 yards per carry, too, as the offensive line has struggled to open running lanes all year.

Rice's disappointing season is probably a combination of his early season injury and the offensive line struggling. You have to remember that Rice has plenty of mileage on his legs, too, so he may finally be starting to see the effects of that. The second half of the season offers some hope, though, as he faces some weaker run-stuffing units down the stretch.

Fullback

FB | Vonta Leach | Baltimore Ravens | Fantasy
The Baltimore Ravens have used three-wide receiver sets more this year than last, when they used the formation on 43 percent of their snaps in 2012. They've used three receivers even more in the last two games, too. The Ravens have used three-wide sets on 63.6 percent of their offensive plays this season. FB Vonta Leach has suffered, as he's seen just 14 snaps in the last two contests. They're using two running backs on only 17.9 percent of their plays this year, compared to 40 percent last season. Three-receiver sets are likely to continue to remain a big part of the team's game plan on a week-to-week basis.

Wide Receiver

WR | Robert Woods | Buffalo Bills | Injury, Fantasy
Buffalo Bills WR Robert Woods (ankle) and LB Manny Lawson (personal) are out of practice Friday, Nov. 8. WR Marquise Goodwin (hamstring) is practicing again.

WR | Nate Burleson | Detroit Lions | Injury, Fantasy
Detroit Lions WR Nate Burleson (forearm) said he is not sure if he will be able to play in the team's Week 10 game and will allow the doctors and trainers to determine his status.

WR | Dez Bryant | Dallas Cowboys | Injury, Fantasy
There are concerns that Dallas Cowboys WR Dez Bryant (back) may be dealing with a bulging or herniated disc in his back. Bryant is receiving treatment for his injury but believes he will be able to play Week 10.

It looks like Bryant wants to play this week, but owners will have to monitor his status as the week goes on. He should be in the starting lineup if he plays, but owners should have another option ready in case he misses the game.

WR | Roddy White | Atlanta Falcons | Injury, Fantasy
Atlanta Falcons WR Roddy White (ankle, hamstring) said he expects to play in the team's Week 10 game. White said he wanted to have a full week of practice before he returns to the field.

WR | Marques Colston | New Orleans Saints | Injury, Fantasy
New Orleans Saints WR Marques Colston (knee) was limited during practice Thursday, Nov. 7.

WR | Victor Cruz | New York Giants | Injury, Fantasy
The New York Giants are being cautious with WR Victor Cruz (neck), who practiced on a limited basis in a non-contact jersey Thursday, Nov. 7. Cruz is hoping to return to a full practice Friday, Nov. 8. On a scale of 1 to 10, "I'm at a cool nine-and-a-half right now," Cruz said. "I feel good. I just want to get another good day of practice in and hopefully I'll be at a 10 right after that." Cruz has 47 catches for 677 yards and four touchdowns through eight weeks.

Cruz looks like he'll be fine for the juicy matchup against the Oakland Raiders in Week 10. He should be in your starting lineup if he's playing.

WR | Calvin Johnson | Detroit Lions | Injury, Fantasy
Detroit Lions WR Calvin Johnson (knee) was limited in practice Thursday, Nov. 7.

The Lions typically like to take it easy on Johnson during the week. His knee isn't a problem at all. He should be in all lineups.

WR | Eric Decker | Denver Broncos | Injury, Fantasy
Denver Broncos WR Eric Decker (toe) practiced in full Thursday, Nov. 7.

WR | Wes Welker | Denver Broncos | Injury, Fantasy
Denver Broncos WR Wes Welker (ankle) was limited in practice Thursday, Nov. 7, but interim head coach Jack Del Rio said Welker did "a lot."

Welker is a must-start, and this seemingly minor ankle ailment shouldn't slow him down much at all.

WR | Eddie Royal | San Diego Chargers | Injury, Fantasy
San Diego Chargers WR Eddie Royal (toe) did not practice Thursday, Nov. 7.

It's becoming commonplace for Royal to sit out practice for most of the week but still suit up on game days Sunday. That'll probably be the case this weekend against the Denver Broncos, too. He's a WR3 or flex.

WR | Rod Streater | Oakland Raiders | Injury, Fantasy
Oakland Raiders WR Rod Streater (hip) practiced in full Thursday, Nov. 7.

Streater's injury isn't serious and he should be expected to suit up against the New York Giants. Only consider Streater as a flex option in deeper leagues.

WR | Darrius Heyward-Bey | Indianapolis Colts | Injury, Fantasy
Indianapolis Colts WR Darrius Heyward-Bey (shoulder) practiced in full Thursday, Nov. 7.

DHB shouldn't be in any danger of missing the game this week. He's a weaker flex option for your fantasy lineups.

WR | Marlon Brown | Baltimore Ravens | Injury, Fantasy
Baltimore Ravens WR Marlon Brown (finger) practiced in full Thursday, Nov. 7.

Brown should be good to go for this weekend. If you are considering using him as your flex option, you shouldn't have anything to worry about.

WR | Miles Austin | Dallas Cowboys | Injury, Fantasy
Dallas Cowboys WR Miles Austin (hamstring) did not practice for the second straight day Thursday, Nov. 7.

It's a long shot for Austin to play this weekend, and we seriously wonder if he'll be of fantasy significance for the rest of the year. Don't let him clog your roster any longer.

WR | Deonte Thompson | Baltimore Ravens | Fantasy
Baltimore Ravens WR Deonte Thompson could see more action with the team moving to more three-wide receiver sets this year. He caught three passes for 24 yards in Week 9 against the Cleveland Browns. "Deonte is a very good route runner. He can run all the routes outside very effectively. So, when you have a route runner, you like to get him the ball and have him make some plays for you. If people are going to play us the way they're playing us right now, you need a route runner outside to make some plays." Opponents are playing to stop the run and leaving a single high safety and man-on-man coverage on the outside. WR Marlon Brown is also seeing more snap; he was on the field for 56 of the team's 73 offensive plays last week. Brown had 15 more snaps than WR Jacoby Jones.

Keep an eye on Thompson in deeper leagues if he starts being targeted more. Brown is probably the better fantasy target right now, as he's been more heavily involved in the offense all season.

WR | Cecil Shorts | Jacksonville Jaguars | Injury, Fantasy
Jacksonville Jaguars WR Cecil Shorts (groin) did not participate in practice Thursday, Nov. 7. Shorts was given the day off.

With Justin Blackmon suspended for the remainder of the year, Shorts will receive more attention from opposing defenses, allowing Mike Brown, Ace Sanders and possibly Stephen Williams to step up. Shorts is best used as a WR3.

WR | Mario Manningham | San Francisco 49ers | Injury, Fantasy
San Francisco 49ers WR Mario Manningham (knee) is expected to make his season debut in Week 10 after recovering from knee surgery. Manningham is not worried about the stability of his knee. "The knee I had surgery on is better than the other one," Manningham said. "So I'm not thinking about that when I'm out there."

Tight End

TE | Jimmy Graham | New Orleans Saints | Fantasy
The Dallas Cowboys are treating New Orleans Saints TE Jimmy Graham as a wide receiver in their game planning.

TE | Heath Miller | Pittsburgh Steelers | Injury, Fantasy
Pittsburgh Steelers TE Heath Miller (non-injury) fully participated in practice Thursday, Nov. 7.

TE | Julius Thomas | Denver Broncos | Injury, Fantasy
Denver Broncos TE Julius Thomas (ankle) was limited in practice Thursday, Nov. 7.

TE | Jermaine Gresham | Cincinnati Bengals | Injury, Fantasy
Cincinnati Bengals TE Jermaine Gresham (groin) did not practice Thursday, Nov. 7.

Gresham was limited yesterday, so this doesn't bode well for his chances of playing in Week 10 against the Baltimore Ravens. He'll likely be questionable. Look elsewhere for your starting tight end this weekend.
