Quarterback

QB | Aaron Rodgers | Green Bay Packers | Injury, Fantasy
Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers (collarbone) will have scans performed on his shoulder Tuesday, Dec. 3, to determine how much healing has occurred.

QB | Matt Ryan | Atlanta Falcons | Fantasy
Atlanta Falcons head coach Mike Smith praised the poise of QB Matt Ryan in Week 13 against the Buffalo Bills. He was sacked a season-high six times, and Ryan was hit nine times, but he was still able to make big plays when it counted. He finished with 311 passing yards and one touchdown. "I thought Matt did a nice job," Smith said Monday, Dec. 2. "He was under some pressure. There were a couple of no-hitters. When I say no-hitters, there were basically unblocked guys that came. We had an identification on one. We had a mental error on another." Ryan has been sacked a career-high 30 times this season. His previous high was 28 in 16 games last season.

QB | Tony Romo | Dallas Cowboys | Fantasy
Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo has posted an 11-15 record in the month of December during his career, although he went 3-2 in the final month last season. He had 10 touchdowns and one interception in the first four games of December last season before throwing for two TDs in three INTs in the regular season finale against the Washington Redskins in a loss.

QB | Christian Ponder | Minnesota Vikings | Injury, Fantasy
The Minnesota Vikings are undecided who will start at quarterback in Week 14 against the Baltimore Ravens as they await word on whether QB Christian Ponder (concussion) will be healthy enough to play. QB Matt Cassel replaced Ponder in Week 13 against the Chicago Bears and threw for 243 yards, a touchdown and an interception in an overtime victory. If Ponder isn't cleared to start practicing early in the week, the team could be influenced to go in another direction.

Cassel seems to have a pretty good shot of playing against the Ravens if Ponder isn't ready in time. Both Cassel and Ponder should only be considered if you're playing in a league that requires you to start two QBs.

QB | Jay Cutler | Chicago Bears | Injury, Fantasy
Chicago Bears QB Jay Cutler (ankle) said he hopes to play Week 14 but has not been cleared to play at this point.

Owners will have to monitor Cutler's practice participation this week to see if he has any chance to play. If he is able to play, he would be a risky low-end No. 1 quarterback because he is coming back from injury. Josh McCown would get another start if Cutler remains out and should be considered a solid No. 1 quarterback option.

QB | Geno Smith | New York Jets | Fantasy
New York Jets QB Geno Smith will get the start in the team's Week 14 game against the Oakland Raiders.

Smith has struggled the last few weeks but will get another chance to start Week 14. He should not be a starting option for owners this week because of his struggles as well as the team's inconsistent options at wide receiver.

QB | Nick Foles | Philadelphia Eagles | Fantasy
Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly said QB Nick Foles will be his quarterback moving forward beyond 2013 and into next year if he stays healthy.

QB | Robert Griffin III | Washington Redskins | Fantasy
New York Giants LB Jon Beason said the team's game plan for Week 13 was to stop Washington Redskins RB Alfred Morris, and not QB Robert Griffin III. "We thought going into the game the cowbell was Alfred Morris," Beason said. "You look at when he has a big game vs. when he doesn't have a big game, even when RG3 has a big game, they don't do too well. He's the guy that makes them go."

QB | Brandon Weeden | Cleveland Browns | Injury
Cleveland Browns QB Brandon Weeden (concussion) was sent home from the team's facility Monday, Dec. 2. Weeden suffered a concussion during the team's Week 13 game, but head coach Rob Chudzinski said he does not know when the injury occurred.

QB | Jason Campbell | Cleveland Browns | Injury, Fantasy
Cleveland Browns head coach Rob Chudzinski said QB Jason Campbell (concussion) has been cleared for activity, but has not been cleared to return to practice Monday, Dec. 2.

QB | Alex Tanney | Cleveland Browns | Injury, Fantasy
Cleveland Browns QB Alex Tanney may be forced to start in Week 14 against the New England Patriots if QB Brandon Weeden's (concussion) concussion is serious to keep him out for the week. QB Jason Campbell (concussion) missed the Week 13 game with a concussion of his own.

Running Back

RB | Ben Tate | Houston Texans | Injury, Fantasy
Houston Texans RB Ben Tate (ankle, ribs) did not participate in practice Monday, Dec. 2. The Texans did not practice Monday and this is an estimation.

RB | Le'Veon Bell | Pittsburgh Steelers | Injury, Fantasy
Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell (concussion) did some running Monday, Dec. 2, and is hoping to play in Week 14 against the Miami Dolphins after suffering a concussion in the team's Week 13 contest. "I'm going to take it day by day and see where we're at," Bell said. "The goal is obviously to play but if (I'm) not able to I'm not able to." Bell doesn't remember the hit but hasn't had many lingering effects from the violent collision. He took an ImPACT test Sunday, Dec. 1, and will have to pass more concussion tests before being cleared.

The good news is that Bell will have over a full week to recover from his ugly concussion. It will all depend on whether he passes the concussion tests this week. The fact that he's already running is a good sign, though. Felix Jones and Jonathan Dwyer will split the duties in the backfield if Bell isn't cleared. If Bell plays, he should be in your lineups against the Miami Dolphins. Jones and Dwyer are desperation flex plays.

RB | C.J. Spiller | Buffalo Bills | Injury, Fantasy
Buffalo Bills RB C.J. Spiller (ankle) said his ankle was fine after the team's Week 13 game, even though he was seen limping noticeably at times.

RB | Andre Ellington | Arizona Cardinals | Injury, Fantasy
Arizona Cardinals RB Andre Ellington (knee) could be held out Week 14 because head coach Bruce Arians said he wants to make sure Ellington is healthy before letting him play again.

RB | Shane Vereen | New England Patriots | Fantasy
New England Patriots RB Shane Vereen received the most snaps among the running backs Week 13 with 41 snaps and was used in several different formations. RB LeGarrette Blount played 20 snaps during the game while Brandon Bolden was on the field for nine offensive snaps.

RB | DeAngelo Williams | Carolina Panthers | Injury, Fantasy
Carolina Panthers RB DeAngelo Williams (quadriceps) is expected to practice Wednesday, Dec. 4, according to head coach Ron Rivera.

RB | Donald Brown | Indianapolis Colts | Fantasy
Indianapolis Colts RB Donald Brown played 49 of 65 offensive snaps in Week 13. RB Trent Richardson played just 13 snaps.

Wide Receiver

WR | Roddy White | Atlanta Falcons | Injury, Fantasy
Atlanta Falcons WR Roddy White (ankle) had his best game of the season in Week 13 against the Buffalo Bills, but he said Monday, Dec. 2, that he still isn't fully healthy. "My ankle is still bothering me, but I'm a football player," White said. "That's what they pay me to do: play football. And that's what I've been doing my whole life. That's all I know how to do. So I'm going to get myself out there and fight with my teammates every week, if I can. If I feel like I can go out there and be productive, I'm going to go out there and help my team win."

White certainly looked a whole lot like the guy fantasy owners expected to see when they drafted him in the early rounds, although some owners might be out of the playoff hunt partially because he has missed so much time or been too hurt to show burst. If you're still alive, enjoy White's resurgence.

WR | Santonio Holmes | New York Jets | Injury, Fantasy
New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan said Monday, Dec. 2, that the team limited WR Santonio Holmes (hamstring) to two snaps in Week 13 against the Miami Dolphins to help keep him healthy the rest of the year. "We thought he was going to play a little more than that," Ryan said. "We noticed as the coaches that the burst wasn't quite there. Instead of him possibly having a setback, we were only to play him in what we said was a must situation. We can't afford him to take a step back, lose him for the rest of the year. We need him going forward."

Fantasy owners will want to steer far clear of this situation, especially at a critical juncture of the season for owners. He is limited, and is likely to be limited going forward. And when he has been healthy, he hasn't done a whole lot and his quarterback situation is a mess.

WR | Percy Harvin | Seattle Seahawks | Injury, Fantasy
Updating a previous report, the Seattle Seahawks are waiting to see how WR Percy Harvin (hip) responds to cortisone injections. Holding him out for the remainder of the regular season is a real option, hoping to get him healthy for the playoffs.

WR | Cecil Shorts | Jacksonville Jaguars | Injury, Fantasy
Jacksonville Jaguars WR Cecil Shorts (groin) was limited in practice Monday, Dec. 2.

WR | Mike Wallace | Miami Dolphins | Fantasy
Miami Dolphins WR Mike Wallace had seven catches for 82 yards and a touchdown in the team's Week 13 win over the New York Jets. Wallace has 12 grabs for 209 yards and two touchdowns over the last two weeks. "This is the time when you've got to be the best you can be," Wallace said. "It's December. I've had enough time to get adjusted. It's the time for me to be the player I know I am, no matter (what). Just block out everything and play football."

Wallace should be in most starting lineups on a weekly basis. He'll likely draw Ike Taylor in the Week 14 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers. It finally appears as though Wallace and Ryan Tannehill are on the same page.

WR | Keenan Allen | San Diego Chargers | Fantasy
San Diego Chargers WR Keenan Allen had eight catches for 106 yards in the Week 13 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, his fifth 100-yard receiving game in his rookie season.

Allen has become a legitimate receiving threat and one of Philip Rivers' favorite options. He's a solid option for your starting lineup on a weekly basis.

WR | Michael Crabtree | San Francisco 49ers | Fantasy
San Francisco 49ers WRs Anquan Boldin, Michael Crabtree, Mario Manningham and Kassim Osgood played 51, 42, 16 and 9 of the 67 offensive snaps, respectively, in Week 13.

Tight End

TE | Jordan Reed | Washington Redskins | Injury, Fantasy
Washington Redskins TE Jordan Reed (concussion) was set to play in the Week 13 game against the New York Giants, but his head started bothering him during pregame warm-ups and he was scratched. He will once again go through the concussion protocol this week.

TE | Dennis Pitta | Baltimore Ravens | Injury, Fantasy
Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said the team will decide whether to activate TE Dennis Pitta (hip) from the Injured Reserve/Designated to Return list later in the week.

TE | Anthony Fasano | Kansas City Chiefs | Injury
Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said TE Anthony Fasano (concussion, knee) is going through the concussion protocol and is also dealing with a knee injury.

Offensive Tackle

OT | Tyron Smith | Dallas Cowboys | Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
The Dallas Cowboys are ranked 27th in rushing yards in the NFL with 1,021 yards, and their 249 rushing attempts ranks next to last in the league. However, they lead the NFL with an 8.6 yards per carry on runs behind OG Ronald Leary on the left side, and when they run toward OT Tyron Smith, they average 4.73 yards per carry.

OT | Joe Staley | San Francisco 49ers | Injury
Updating a previous report, San Francisco 49ers OT Joe Staley (knee) is expected to miss a few games because of a medial collateral ligament injury.

Defensive Line

DL | Justin Tuck | New York Giants | Injury, Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
New York Giants DEs Mathias Kiwanuka and Justin Tuck were each forced to play 100 percent of the defensive snaps in the Week 12 game against the Washington Redskins Monday, Dec. 2, with the team shorthanded along the defensive line. DE Jason Pierre-Paul (shoulder) is dealing with a serious shoulder injury. Tuck feels he and Kiwanuka could tough it out for the whole month if need be. "I think we can," Tuck said Monday, Dec. 2. "One thing we've been able to do all season is keep our bodies in great shape, staying on top of things in the weight room, making sure we're eating the right things. I think we're in good shape to go."

DL | Elvis Dumervil | Baltimore Ravens | Injury
Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said he expects WR Brandon Stokley (knee), DE Elvis Dumervil (ankle) and CB Jimmy Smith (concussion) to play in the team's Week 14 game.

DL | Ricky Jean-Francois | Indianapolis Colts | Injury
Indianapolis Colts DT Ricky Jean-Francois (foot) will miss two to four weeks because of a torn plantar fascia in his foot.

DL | Charles Johnson | Carolina Panthers | Injury, Fantasy
Carolina Panthers DE Charles Johnson (knee) said he'll be ready for the team's crucial Week 14 matchup against the New Orleans Saints. Johnson will have missed the team's last two games after suffering a sprained right medial collateral knee ligament in Week 11.

Linebacker

LB | Sean Lee | Dallas Cowboys | Injury, Fantasy
Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said LB Sean Lee (hamstring) will return in Week 14.

LB | London Fletcher | Washington Redskins | Injury, Fantasy
Updating a previous report, Washington Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan said Monday, Dec. 2, that he will know more on the status of LB London Fletcher (ankle) Wednesday, Dec. 4. "I'll probably be pretty sore, but I should be OK," Fletcher said after the Week 13 game.

Fletcher has played 252 consecutive games, so it is unlikely a bum ankle will keep him from soldiering on and keeping the streak alive. IDP fantasy owners likely have nothing to worry about.

Cornerback

CB | Darrelle Revis | Tampa Bay Buccaneers | Injury, Fantasy
Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Greg Schiano said the injury to CB Darrelle Revis (chest, shoulder) is not believed to be serious.
