Quarterback

QB | Colin Kaepernick | San Francisco 49ers | Injury, Fantasy
San Francisco 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick (foot) fully participated in practice Thursday, Oct. 17.

QB | Thaddeus Lewis | Buffalo Bills | Injury, Fantasy
Buffalo Bills QB Thaddeus Lewis (foot) practiced in full Thursday, Oct. 17.

QB | Michael Vick | Philadelphia Eagles | Injury, Fantasy
Philadelphia Eagles QB Michael Vick (hamstring) was limited in practice Thursday, Oct. 17.

QB | Ricky Stanzi | Jacksonville Jaguars | Injury, Fantasy
Jacksonville Jaguars QB Ricky Stanzi will serve as the backup for the teams Week 7 game. QB Blaine Gabbert (hamstring) is progressing, but is not ready yet.

QB | Matt Schaub | Houston Texans | Injury, Fantasy
Houston Texans head coach Gary Kubiak has ruled out QB Matt Schaub (ankle) from Week 7 action.

There is no reason to hold onto Schaub if you had him as your QB2. He could return to action next week, but there's nothing intriguing about his play at the moment.

QB | Case Keenum | Houston Texans | Fantasy
Houston Texans QB Case Keenum will start in Week 7 against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Keenum put up big numbers in college, but the spread offense he ran back then isn't employed in Houston, so he isn't likely to see success immediately. This doesn't mean that Matt Schaub (ankle) is benched, however; he's dealing with an ankle injury and hasn't practiced this week. Keenum should not be started anywhere.

Running Back

RB | Steven Jackson | Atlanta Falcons | Injury, Fantasy
Atlanta Falcons RB Steven Jackson (hamstring) was out of practice Friday, Oct. 18.

RB | Willis McGahee | Cleveland Browns | Injury, Fantasy
Cleveland Browns RB Willis McGahee (knee) is practicing Friday, Oct. 18.

RB | C.J. Spiller | Buffalo Bills | Injury, Fantasy
Buffalo Bills RB C.J. Spiller (ankle) is expected to play in Week 7.

RB | David Wilson | New York Giants | Injury, Fantasy
New York Giants head coach Tom Coughlin said there is no timetable for RB David Wilson's (neck) return at this point. "We've just got to allow the time that's necessary for the complete and total medical analysis and evaluation," Coughlin said. "I don't know when that will be. There's been no magic number told me. They're going to look at it continuously."

RB | Andre Brown | New York Giants | Injury, Fantasy
New York Giants RB Andre Brown (leg) said he expects to receive a situational role when he initially comes off the Injured Reserve/Designated to Return list. "Whatever I can do. I'll have probably a different role when I get back," Brown said. "Third down and stuff like that. It's just going to be a different role. As long as I can mold into whatever role they put me in, I'll be OK."

RB | Zac Stacy | St. Louis Rams | Injury, Fantasy
St. Louis Rams RB Zac Stacy (chest) fully participated in practice Thursday, Oct. 17.

RB | Adrian Peterson | Minnesota Vikings | Injury, Fantasy
Minnesota Vikings RB Adrian Peterson (hamstring) was limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 17.

RB | Brandon Bolden | New England Patriots | Injury, Fantasy
New England Patriots RB Brandon Bolden (knee) was limited in practice Thursday, Oct. 17.

Stevan Ridley's resurgence last week has lessened the appeal of Bolden this week, especially against a strong New York Jets run-stopping unit. Bolden has more appeal in point-per-reception leagues, and he could be used in more of a pass-catching role this weekend to counter the Jets' strong front seven, but he's still probably a poor play.

RB | Bilal Powell | New York Jets | Injury, Fantasy
New York Jets RB Bilal Powell (neck) practiced in full Thursday, Oct. 17.

RB | Chris Ivory | New York Jets | Injury, Fantasy
New York Jets RB Chris Ivory (hamstring) practiced in full Thursday, Oct. 17.

RB | Ben Tate | Houston Texans | Injury, Fantasy
Houston Texans RB Ben Tate (elbow) fully participated in practice Thursday, Oct. 17.

RB | Arian Foster | Houston Texans | Injury, Fantasy
Houston Texans RB Arian Foster (chest, hamstring, thumb) did not participate in practice Thursday, Oct. 17, because of a sore hamstring.

Owners should monitor Foster's practice participation Friday to get a better idea on if he will be able to play Week 7. If Foster is able to play, he and Ben Tate could get more carries during the game because of the team's quarterback situation.

RB | Lance Dunbar | Dallas Cowboys | Injury, Fantasy
Dallas Cowboys RB Lance Dunbar (hamstring), LB DeVonte Holloman (neck), DE Edgar Jones (groin) and DE DeMarcus Ware (thigh) did not practice Thursday, Oct. 17.

RB | BenJarvus Green-Ellis | Cincinnati Bengals | Fantasy
Cincinnati Bengals RB BenJarvus Green-Ellis (illness) was removed from the injury report Thursday, Oct. 17.

RB | Joique Bell | Detroit Lions | Injury, Fantasy
Detroit Lions RB Joique Bell (ribs) was limited in practice Thursday, Oct. 17.

RB | Jeff Demps | Tampa Bay Buccaneers | Injury, Fantasy
Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB Jeff Demps (groin) underwent surgery to repair an injury to his groin Thursday, Oct. 17. The timetable for his recovery is not known.

RB | DeMarco Murray | Dallas Cowboys | Injury, Fantasy
Dallas Cowboys RB DeMarco Murray (knee) was not participating in the portion of practice open to the media Thursday, Oct. 17.

RB | Shane Vereen | New England Patriots | Injury, Fantasy
New England Patriots RB Shane Vereen (hand) is not wearing a brace or cast on his hand Thursday, Oct. 17.

Wide Receiver

WR | Roddy White | Atlanta Falcons | Injury, Fantasy
Atlanta Falcons WR Roddy White (hamstring, ankle) was out of practice Friday, Oct. 18.

WR | Danny Amendola | New England Patriots | Injury, Fantasy
New England Patriots WR Danny Amendola (concussion) was out of practice Friday, Oct. 18.

We doubt he plays in Week 7.

WR | Greg Little | Cleveland Browns | Fantasy
Cleveland Browns WR Greg Little expressed disappointment in his performance this season. "My performance itself was a wake-up call," Little said. "Not being in the lineup was a wakening. I was just pushing myself, trying to do more than what was there, trying to hit a home run on every ball. (I need) to just hit a base hit and keep it moving."

WR | Santonio Holmes | New York Jets | Injury, Fantasy
New York Jets WR Santonio Holmes (hamstring) blamed the media for impeding his rehab work. "How am I feeling right now? Like you guys are interrupting my treatment time right now," Holmes said. "I was just on the rehab table and I had to get taken off the table to come do interviews, so yes I do (feel it hampers my rehab.)"

WR | Stevie Johnson | Buffalo Bills | Injury, Fantasy
Buffalo Bills WR Stevie Johnson (back) is expected to play in Week 7.

WR | Nate Burleson | Detroit Lions | Injury, Fantasy
Detroit Lions WR Nate Burleson (forearm) said he will wear a Kevlar sleeve on his left arm when he returns to help protect his broken forearm. Burleson is expected to return at some point next month.

WR | Golden Tate | Seattle Seahawks | Injury, Fantasy
Updating a previous report, Seattle Seahawks WR Golden Tate (foot) returned to the team's Week 7 game after missing time with a foot injury.

WR | Mike Williams | Tampa Bay Buccaneers | Injury, Fantasy
Updating a previous report, Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Williams (hamstring) was limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 17.

WR | Eddie Royal | San Diego Chargers | Injury, Fantasy
San Diego Chargers WR Eddie Royal (toe) did not practice Thursday, Oct. 17, and is in a protective boot after being injured in the team's Week 6 game Monday, Oct. 14.

The Bolts have an excellent matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars this weekend, but it looks as though you won't be able to utilize Royal. He's been fading since Weeks 2 and 3, too, in favor of rookie wideout Keenan Allen. Allen is turning into a must-start in deep enough point-per-reception leagues.

WR | Julian Edelman | New England Patriots | Injury, Fantasy
New England Patriots WR Julian Edelman (thigh) was limited in practice Thursday, Oct. 17.

It looks as though New England will be without Danny Amendola (head) and Rob Gronkowski (forearm, back) another week, raising Edelman's value in Week 7. He should be in your lineups, especially in PPR universes.

WR | Donnie Avery | Kansas City Chiefs | Injury, Fantasy
Kansas City Chiefs WR Donnie Avery (shoulder) fully participated in practice Thursday, Oct. 17.

WR | Jeremy Kerley | New York Jets | Injury, Fantasy
New York Jets WR Jeremy Kerley (back) practiced in full Thursday, Oct. 17.

WR | Andre Johnson | Houston Texans | Injury, Fantasy
Houston Texans WR Andre Johnson (shin) was limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 17.

WR | Wes Welker | Denver Broncos | Injury, Fantasy
Denver Broncos WR Wes Welker (ankle) fully participated in practice Thursday, Oct. 17.

WR | Eric Decker | Denver Broncos | Injury, Fantasy
Denver Broncos WR Eric Decker (shoulder) fully participated in practice Thursday, Oct. 17.

WR | Dwayne Harris | Dallas Cowboys | Injury, Fantasy
Dallas Cowboys WR Dwayne Harris (hip) practiced in full Thursday, Oct. 17.

WR | James Jones | Green Bay Packers | Injury, Fantasy
Green Bay Packers WR James Jones (knee) did not practice Thursday, Oct. 17.

A second straight day of missed practice for Jones doesn't bode well for his chances of suiting up in Week 7. Jarrett Boykin will be present in Green Bay's three-wide sets against the Cleveland Browns. He's more of a desperation play if your starting wideouts are either injured or on bye.

WR | Cecil Shorts | Jacksonville Jaguars | Injury, Fantasy
Jacksonville Jaguars WR Cecil Shorts (shoulder) will likely be a game-time decision against the San Diego Chargers in Week 7. Also, WR Ace Sanders (concussion) hasn't practiced all week and is unlikely to play. The swelling in Shorts' shoulder has subsided, but he's still dealing with some pain. "I ran around today in walk-through and felt pretty good," Shorts said. "It's going to hurt. So we'll see how it goes. No decision yet but I'm excited about my chances." Shorts was limited in practice Thursday, Oct. 17, and head coach Gus Bradley said he won't practice Friday, Oct. 18.

Shorts will be tested Sunday morning to see if he'll go, and it'll likely come down to pain tolerance. With Sanders also out, Mike Brown is likely to see his playing time increase dramatically, but not enough to consider starting him. Look for other options and prepare to be without Shorts.

WR | Justin Blackmon | Jacksonville Jaguars | Injury, Fantasy
Jacksonville Jaguars WR Justin Blackmon (hamstring, groin) is progressing nicely but is unlikely to practice Friday, Oct. 18. However, head coach Gus Bradley said Blackmon should be able to play in Week 7 against the San Diego Chargers. "Blackmon's good," Bradley said. "I think it's something that he'll have to deal with. He may be a guy that we hold out tomorrow just to keep it calmed down."

Blackmon should play and makes for a solid WR2 in most leagues. However, if Cecil Shorts (shoulder) doesn't play, you may want to lower your expectations a bit if the San Diego Chargers elect to double Blackmon. Blackmon was limited in practice Thursday.

WR | Calvin Johnson | Detroit Lions | Injury, Fantasy
Detroit Lions WR Calvin Johnson (knee) was limited in practice Thursday, Oct. 17.

WR | Ryan Broyles | Detroit Lions | Fantasy
The Detroit Lions are being patient with WR Ryan Broyles because they weren't expecting him to play before October while he came back from his second anterior cruciate ligament tear in as many years. He sat out the first two games and played just 17 snaps in week 3, but the team had to accelerate his progress when WR Nate Burleson went down with a broken forearm. Broyles' production has been minimal, though, even though he's played almost 40 snaps per game without Burleson in the lineup. Many times, the coverage has dictated that Detroit go away from the slot receiver, Broyles' position.

There is a glimmer of hope for Broyles still because this is around the same time last year that he started becoming consistently involved in the offense. However, Kris Durham has stepped up and Calvin Johnson (knee) seems to be returning to full health. There are many mouths to feed in Detroit. Don't forget about Broyles, but he hasn't given you any reason to hang onto him in shallow leagues.

WR | Kenny Britt | Tennessee Titans | Fantasy
Despite playing just two snaps in the team's Week 6 loss to the Seattle Seahawks, Tennessee Titans WR Kenny Britt could be in line for more work after head coach Mike Munchak said he's proud of the receiver. Britt has just seven catches for 59 yards on the season after being demoted for dropped passes and sloppy play last month. "He needs to play more. He needs to get 20 snaps," Munchak said. "I'd like to give him opportunities to make plays. Maybe he's not starting, and maybe he's not in the starting groups. But he needs to be in the mix, because the guy still has talent. We still believe in him, and want to give him opportunities even if he has dropped some balls. But we need to play him more, and I think he'll rise up to the occasion." The Titans have fielded trade offers for Britt, but Munchak said "we have no plans" to trade him before the deadline Oct. 29.

Britt probably doesn't deserve to be owned on any rosters outside of the deepest leagues, but there is still hope down the road. Perhaps Britt regains some value with more PT and when Jake Locker returns after the bye week in Week 9.

WR | Miles Austin | Dallas Cowboys | Fantasy
Dallas Cowboys WR Miles Austin (rest) got the day off from practice Thursday, Oct. 17, in part to help make sure he is a full-go for the team's Week 7 game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

There is no reason to think Austin won’t play, as this appears to be precautionary more than anything else.

Tight End

TE | Rob Gronkowski | New England Patriots | Injury, Fantasy
New England Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski (forearm) has been cleared by doctors to play in Week 7, according to his agent Drew Rosenhaus.

This is a significant step towards playing in Week 7. However, with as much smoke and mirrors and as cautious as Gronk has been thus far, we'd proceed with caution. If he does suit up, it's not known if he'll be on a snap count or limited at all. We'd rate him as a midrange TE1 this week.

TE | Martellus Bennett | Chicago Bears | Injury, Fantasy
Chicago Bears TE Martellus Bennett (knee) was limited in practice Thursday, Oct. 17.

We expect Bennett to play and put up nice numbers against the Washington Redskins this weekend. Consider Bennett a solid starting tight end in Week 7.

TE | Heath Miller | Pittsburgh Steelers | Fantasy
Pittsburgh Steelers TE Heath Miller (non-injury) practiced in full Thursday, Oct. 17.

Miller was likely just being rested yesterday. He makes for a decent TE1 against the Baltimore Ravens, who have had trouble defending tight ends this season.

TE | Greg Olsen | Carolina Panthers | Injury, Fantasy
Carolina Panthers TE Greg Olsen (foot) was participating in practice Thursday, Oct. 17.

TE | Tony Gonzalez | Atlanta Falcons | Fantasy
Atlanta Falcons TE Tony Gonzalez said he has not asked for a trade from the team, and does not plan on "jumping ship."
