By KFFL Staff

First Baseman

1B | Jose Abreu | Chicago White Sox | Fantasy
Chicago White Sox 1B Jose Abreu will receive a $10 million signing bonus as part of his six-year, $68 million deal that became official Tuesday, Oct. 29. 2B | Micah Johnson | Chicago White Sox | Injury
Chicago White Sox 2B Micah Johnson (elbow) had successful elbow surgery Tuesday, Oct. 29, and will be ready for spring training next year. He had no nerve damage and his elbow ligament was intact.

SS | Dee Gordon | Los Angeles Dodgers | Depth Chart Tidbit, Fantasy
Los Angeles Dodgers SS Dee Gordon will play for Tigres del Licey in the Dominican Republic during winter ball, and he is being listed as an outfielder.

The outfield is pretty packed in L.A., but middle infield doesn't appear to be an option for Gordon either, with Hanley Ramirez and Alexander Guerrero in the mix. If he does gain eligibility at OF, it will help his fantasy appeal somewhat, but he still has a long way to go before re-emerging as a must-start fantasy option consideration.

C | Yadier Molina | St. Louis Cardinals | Fantasy
Major League Baseball announced the Gold Glove winners Tuesday, Oct. 29. The winners in the National League are St. Louis Cardinals C Yadier Molina, Arizona Diamondbacks 1B Paul Goldschmidt, Cincinnati Reds 2B Brandon Phillips, Atlanta Braves SS Andrelton Simmons, Colorado Rockies 3B Nolan Arenado, Colorado Rockies LF Carlos Gonzalez, Milwaukee Brewers CF Carlos Gomez and Arizona Diamondbacks RF Gerardo Parra.

C Jarrod Saltalamacchia went 0-for-6 with four strikeouts in Games 2 and 3. C Mike Napoli will return to first base and DH David Ortiz will serve as the designated hitter.

OF | Norichika Aoki | Milwaukee Brewers | Transaction, Fantasy
The Milwaukee Brewers exercised OF Norichika Aoki's 2014 option that's worth just shy of $2 million Tuesday, Oct. 29. He hit .287 with a .356 on-base percentage, 18 home runs, 50 stolen bases and 161 runs scored in his first 306 games in the majors. Incentives could push his pay next year to over $3 million.

Starting Pitcher

SP | Adam Wainwright | St. Louis Cardinals | Fantasy,
Major League Baseball announced its Gold Glove winners Tuesday, Oct. 29, and Toronto Blue Jays SP R.A. Dickey won in the American League, while St. Louis Cardinals SP Adam Wainwright was the winner at his position in the National League.

Relief Pitcher

RP | Rafael Betancourt | free agent | Transaction, Free Agents, Fantasy,
The Colorado Rockies declined to pick up RP Rafael Betancourt's option for the 2014 season Tuesday, Oct. 29, making him a free agent.

This signals the shift to Rex Brothers as the closer of the future. Brothers performed admirably with Betancourt injured this year and down the stretch. Look to him as a midrange closer option in 2014.
