NASCAR | Nationwide launches safe-driving campaign

SceneDaily.com reports Nationwide Insurance officials announced Wednesday, April 2, that it launched its 2008 Drive While Distracted campaign to go along with its sponsorship of the NASCAR Nationwide Series. Nationwide has planned to send NASCAR drivers to high schools across the country to help send out the message that multitasking while driving is dangerous. Students will receive a firsthand look at the impact driving while multitasking has on their abilities while racing in a NASCAR simulator. The first event is scheduled for Wednesday, April 2, at Southlake Carroll Senior High School in Texas. Kenny Wallace and Brad Coleman are expected to make an appearance.
