MLB | American League All-Star pitching staff announced

The following pitchers will represent the American League in the 2012 All-Star Game: Chicago White Sox SP Chris Sale, Detroit Tigers SP Justin Verlander, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim SP Jered Weaver, Seattle Mariners SP Felix Hernandez, Tampa Bay Rays SP David Price, Texas Rangers SP Matt Harrison, Baltimore Orioles RP Jim Johnson, Cleveland Indians RP Chris Perez, Oakland Athletics RP Ryan Cook, Tampa Bay Rays RP Fernando Rodney and Texas Rangers RP Joe Nathan. New York Yankees SP CC Sabathia (groin), who is currently on the disabled list, has been invited to participate in All-Star festivities in Kansas City but will be replaced on the active roster by Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim SP C.J. Wilson.
