Red Sox | Felix Doubront effectively using all of his pitches

Boston Red Sox SP Felix Doubront has posted a 2.74 ERA in his last four starts, lowering his ERA for the season from 6.40 to 4.88 in the process. In his most recent start against the New York Yankees Saturday, June 1, he allowed one run on six hits over six innings, improving to 5-1 with a 2.32 ERA in five career starts versus the Yanks. Manager John Farrell credited Doubront's recent success to his ability to effectively utilize all of his pitches. "(Saturday) was a four-pitch mix for him," Farrell said after the game. "But still, it's attacking and getting ahead with his fastball. That sets the tone for the at-bat."
