Titans | Jake Locker under spotlight
Tennessee Titans QB Jake Locker (shoulder) enters his third season as a pro, and the spotlight will be bright on him. He completed just 56.4 percent of his passes last season while throwing only 10 touchdowns and 11 interceptions in 11 games. However, despite having shoulder surgery in January, Locker appears more prepared for this season than previous ones. "It is his team now and he knows it," OT Michael Roos said.
Fantasy Tip: Locker has the tools to be a solid NFL quarterback, and he no longer has Matt Hasselbeck on the roster to worry about. The team has a maturing WR Kenny Britt, a healthy RB Chris Johnson, and a new big target in TE Delanie Walker. So he has all the tools he needs to be effective. As far as fantasy value is concerned, he is more of a low-end QB2 or QB3 until he proves otherwise, but he could pay huge dividends for those who nab him in the late rounds on draft day.
