Mariners | Eric Wedge to make full recovery

Seattle Mariners manager Eric Wedge was released from the hospital Wednesday, July 24, and is expected to make a full recovery after suffering a "very mild stroke." He won't be in uniform for the team's next series against the Minnesota Twins and won't go on the road when they face the Boston Red Sox and Baltimore Orioles. Wedge will be re-evaluated in 10 days. Bench coach Robby Thompson will take over managerial duties.
