Titans | Jake Locker not ruled out
Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Munchak is not ruling out QB Jake Locker (knee, hip) for Week 7 against the San Francisco 49ers, but his chances still look unlikely with the team's bye week in Week 8. Locker increased his activities in practice Thursday, Oct. 17, but continued to wear a brace on his right knee and walk with a limp. "He can play. It is just a matter of … is he quite ready? There is no doubt the more you rest, the more you take off, the stronger your (knee) is going to feel. But it doesn't mean you can't play in the meantime," Munchak said. "He came out and looked better today. … We'll consider anything, really. We'll wait until tomorrow. It is kind of wait and see. We don't want to ever say he can't do anything." Teammates expect QB Ryan Fitzpatrick to make the start this weekend.
Fantasy Tip: We fully expect Locker to return in Week 9. It's foolish to expect him to start this weekend. Nate Washington, Kendall Wright and possibly Kenny Britt will see a bump in their value when Locker does return.
