Eagles | Still not naming starting QB
Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly said he won't name a starting quarterback as long as QB Michael Vick (hamstring) remains sidelined due to injury. QB Nick Foles has started in his absence and will continue to take first-team repetitions in practice Tuesday, Nov. 12. "I think what we've done for the last two weeks has worked for us pretty good," Kelly said. "So we're going to stick to that. It's gotten us 16 touchdowns, no interceptions and two wins, so why would we change?" Foles has 10 touchdown passes in the last two weeks. Kelly plans to take the quarterback situation day-by-day with Vick improving.
Fantasy Tip: Foles has definitely played well enough to be considered for the starting gig even when Vick is healthy enough to return, but it'll be up to Kelly when that time comes. For now, consider Foles a good bye-week filler or midrange No. 1 QB with the right matchup.
