Mets | To keep Bobby Abreu fresh
New York Mets manager Terry Collins plans to give OF Bobby Abreu around one outfield start per week to keep his bat fresh. Abreu started in the outfield for the first time in two years Thursday, April 24, to give OF Curtis Granderson a rest. Abreu hit .395 with a 1.086 OPS in 15 games with Triple-A Las Vegas.
Fantasy Tip: Abreu is strictly an NL-only commodity because his playing time will be sparse.
