Mets | Matt Harvey aiming for 5-7 starts this year
New York Mets SP Matt Harvey (elbow) plans to be back on a mound June 10, and he's also aiming to make five to seven starts this year for the team. "I feel great. I don't feel any soreness now. The ball is coming out of my hand great," Harvey said. He also said he'll back off the intensity of his fastball and slider during his bullpen sessions in between starts, and he's planning to pitch at a heavier weight when he returns.
Fantasy Tip: Right now, that's all talk, and it's unlikely the Mets will unleash Harvey if they don't feel he's completely ready. What's more realistic is that they have Harvey make a few rehab starts in the minors later this year. Don't expect him to make an impact for your fantasy squad down the stretch.
