Cowboys | Tony Romo says he'll be ready
Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo (back) has no doubts that he'll be able to return in 2014 after undergoing back surgery last December. He has been limited in on-field workouts the past several weeks, but he plans on doing more during organized team activities next week. "I'm getting close," Romo said. "We're just going to be smart during the OTAs and have a little bit of a pitch count but we're going to go out there each day and try to do all that we can. The guys are working hard and doing great and I think we're going to be ready."
Fantasy Tip: A QB at Romo's age coming off back surgery isn't the most sound fantasy football investment. However, if he looks good during offseason workouts and training camp, he should be viewed as a midrange QB1.
