Mets | Noah Syndergaard has sprained shoulder
New York Mets SP Noah Syndergaard (shoulder) has been diagnosed with a sprained left non-throwing shoulder after he collided at home plate with the runner at Triple-A Las Vegas Thursday, June 5, according to a source. The degree of the sprain is unknown. He had just returned from a disabled list stint for a forearm strain.
Fantasy Tip: Tough luck for the Mets' top pitching prospect. It's unknown if he'll have to go back on the DL for this new injury. Syndergaard is a candidate to enter the team's rotation, but it probably won't be until later this summer, at the earliest.
