Washington Nationals OF Bryce Harper (back) has been scratched from the starting lineup against the Cincinnati Reds Saturday, May 30, due to back soreness. Harper was drilled in the spine by a fastball during the game Friday, May 29. OF Clint Robinson will play right field and bat fifth, with 1B Ryan Zimmerman moving into the cleanup spot.

The Washington Nationals have placed SP Stephen Strasburg (back, neck) on the 15-day disabled list because of back and neck injuries on his left side. The cause of the injuries are unknown but the team is hoping he will only need to spend the minimum number of days on the DL. Strasburg is scheduled to undergo tests Monday, June 1.
