Cleveland Browns WR Rashard Higgins grew a rapport with QB Baker Mayfield on the second-team offense early last season, and Mayfield leaned on Higgins when things broke down in the pocket. The Browns plan to use four-wide receiver sets often this year. Higgins received 43 percent of his targets more than 15 yards in the air last year, according to Sharp Analysis. He caught 17 of 23 targets for 390 yards and three touchdowns. Higgins isn't a speed receiver, but he finds ways to get down the field.

Huddle Up: There are so many weapons on offense that you shouldn't get too excited about Higgins' promise for 2019. He's worth a look as a WR5, but he'll be inconsistent week to week.

Cleveland Browns restricted free-agent WR Rashard Higgins will receive a tender offer this offseason.

Huddle Up: Higgins recorded 572 yards and four touchdowns this past season and could be a top-three receiver for the Browns in 2019 depending on what the team does at the position. He has a chance to be a late-round option in fantasy leagues.

Cleveland Browns impending free-agent WR Rashard Higgins said he wants to re-sign with the Browns this offseason and hopes to agree to a long-term deal before the start of free agency.

Huddle Up: Higgins finished the 2018 season with 572 yards and four touchdowns and appears to have good chemistry with Baker Mayfield. He probably would be the team's No. 3 receiver if he returns to the Browns behind Jarvis Landry and Antonio Callaway. He has a chance to be a No. 4 fantasy receiver in 2019 that can be in the starting lineup against favorable matchups.

Cleveland Browns WR Rashard Higgins posted four receptions for 86 yards on six targets in the Week 17 game against the Baltimore Ravens.

Huddle Up: Higgins ended up with 39 grabs, 572 yards and four touchdowns this season, making him a decent WR5 in most fantasy formats. Depending on the personnel moves the team makes in the offseason, Higgins could factor in prominently in 2019 in Cleveland.

Cleveland Browns WR Rashard Higgins caught six passes for 60 yards and one touchdown against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 16.

Huddle Up: Higgins has been a bit inconsistent in terms of his stats over the last several weeks but has posted at least 60 yards in two of the last four games. He will be facing a tough Baltimore Ravens next week and could be benched if owners have better options.

Cleveland Browns WR Rashard Higgins caught four passes for 62 yards and one touchdown against the Houston Texans in Week 13.

Huddle Up: Higgins has recorded two touchdowns in the last three games but has been targeted only eight times during that span. He should receive some targets next week, but owners should be able to find better options for their starting lineups.

Cleveland Browns WR Rashard Higgins caught one passes for 28 yards and one touchdown against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 10.

Huddle Up: Higgins has caught two touchdowns in the last three games but has recorded only 47 total yards over the last two games. He had some solid performances earlier in the season but probably can be avoided most weeks.

Cleveland Browns WR Rashard Higgins (knee) is expected to play in Week 9's game against the Kansas City Chiefs, according to a source.

Huddle Up: Higgins is listed as questionable on the injury report after logging two limited practice sessions during the week. He is worthy of consideration as a flex option in most fantasy leagues because he has developed good chemistry with QB Baker Mayfield and the Browns will likely be relying heavily on their passing game versus Kansas City.

Cleveland Browns WR Rashard Higgins (knee) said he fully expects to play in the Week 9 game even though he is listed as questionable.

Huddle Up: Higgins appeared to have good chemistry with Baker Mayfield before his injury, so he could receive a decent amount of targets this week. He can be at least a flex option in fantasy leagues because the Browns likely will need to score a lot of points against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Cleveland Browns WR Rashard Higgins (knee) practiced for a second straight day Friday, Nov. 1, and is listed as questionable for Week 9 as he tries to return from a knee injury.

Huddle Up: Higgins hasn't played since Week 5, but he might be needed with fellow wideout Antonio Callaway now dealing with an ankle issue. Plug Higgins in as flex option if he's active for what could turn into a high-scoring matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs.

  • Posted: 10/7/2018 3:43pm ET

Cleveland Browns WR Rashard Higgins (knee) posted three grabs for 66 yards and a touchdown in Week 5 against the Baltimore Ravens before leaving due to a knee injury.

Huddle Up: It's uncertain if Higgins suffered a serious knee injury or not, but he was doubtful to return in the game which isn't a good sign. If he is able to play, the Browns host the Chargers in Week 6.

  • Posted: 9/30/2018 8:04pm ET

Cleveland Browns WR Rashard Higgins managed four receptions for a team-high 61 yards on five targets in Week 4 against the Oakland Raiders.

Huddle Up: Higgins has jelled nicely with rookie Baker Mayfield, posting a respectable 15.3 yards per game in this one. He isn't going to post huge numbers, but he'll do enough to give you decent production as a WR5 in most fantasy leagues. The Browns host the Ravens in Week 5.

  • Posted: 9/16/2018 1:29pm ET

Cleveland Browns WR Rashard Higgins caught five passes for 47 yards against the New Orleans Saints in Week 2.

Huddle Up: Higgins likely will move up the depth chart and be the No. 3 receiver for the Browns with Josh Gordon leaving. Owners can consider adding him as a depth receiver, but he likely will not be in the starting lineup often.
