New England Patriots QB Tom Brady said 'I hope I can play that long,' when asked Thursday, June 6, is he still wants to play until he's 45.

Huddle Up: While the end result was another Lombardi Trophy, Brady slipped to 14th among fantasy quarterbacks last season with long-time top weapon Rob Gronkowski struggling last season, and now that Gronk's gone, regard the-soon-to-be 42-year-old Brady as a mid-level QB2 in fantasy drafts.

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady reported to the team Monday, June 3, for the start of the mandatory minicamp this week.

  • Posted: 5/26/2019 10:47am ET

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady, 41, is the oldest player on a team that features a league-most 15 players at least 30 years old.

Huddle Up: Brady is still playing like a player in his prime, but fantasy-wise, he has slipped in recent seasons, finishing 14th or lower among fantasy QBs in two of the last three seasons. Now, one of his old reliables in TE Rob Gronkowski is gone. Value him as a mid-level QB2.

  • Posted: 5/25/2019 11:19am ET

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady has been working out with WRs Julian Edelman and N'Keal Harry this offseason.

Huddle Up: Brady is not participating in offseason workouts but is able to work with his newest receiver. Brady and Edelman will be weekly starting options in fantasy leagues in 2019, while Harry could be a No. 4 fantasy receiver that starts against favorable matchups.

  • Posted: 4/19/2019 10:21am ET

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady tied Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes with nine big-time throws on third-and-long situations in 2018, according to Pro Football Focus.

Huddle Up: Not too shabby for age 41, but on the flip side, Brady has finished as a top-12 fantasy quarterback in only one of the last three seasons and should be valued as a high-end QB2 entering drafts this summer.

  • Posted: 4/15/2019 6:47am ET

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady is not expected to report to offseason conditioning this week, but he's rumored to have bulked up this offseason.

Huddle Up: Brady was a solid QB1 last season, but the revolving door of parts around him have hindered his numbers. He's an upper-middle QB1 in fantasy this year.

  • Posted: 3/29/2019 3:12pm ET

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady appears likely to skip the voluntary workouts this offseason like he did last year.

Huddle Up: Brady has lost some pass catchers this offseason but still has a solid group of receivers to work with next season. He can still be considered a No. 1 quarterback in most leagues in 2019.

  • Posted: 2/4/2019 7:28pm ET

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady has not had any contract extension talks with the Patriots at this point. Brady will be entering the final year of his contract in 2019.

Huddle Up: Brady is still one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL despite his age and likely will receive another extension at some point this offseason. He had a few disappointing performances this season but will still be a No. 1 quarterback in fantasy leagues in 2019.

  • Posted: 2/3/2019 7:30pm ET

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady completed 21 of his 35 passes for 262 yards and an interception in a 13-3 win over the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LIII.

Huddle Up: It certainly wasn't Brady's most memorable Super Bowl performance, but he did enough to walk away with his sixth ring. He has already said he has no plans to retire, and assuming that holds true, he will remain a QB1 candidate.

  • Posted: 2/3/2019 11:07am ET

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady enters Super Bowl LIII on Sunday, Feb. 3, having played in more Super Bowls (eight) than the entire Los Angeles Rams roster combined (five).

Huddle Up: The Rams hope to negate that vast experience edge by turning up the heat on the 41-year-old QB, who hasn't been sacked and has only been hit thee times this postseason. As a result, Brady's second and third highest single-game passing-yardage totals of the season have come in the playoffs as he's completed 71.1 percent of his passes for 691 yards.

  • Posted: 1/30/2019 9:10pm ET

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady could have his contract extended after the season, according to ESPN's Mike Reiss. Brady would currently count $27 million against the cap in 2019.

Huddle Up: On the surface it seems crazy to extend a QB entering his age-42 campaign, but Brady's continued ability to excel despite his age makes his stated goal of playing until 45 seem more realistic by the day. He remains a top-10 fantasy QB.

  • Posted: 1/29/2019 10:13am ET

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady is 16-1 when facing a postseason opponent he did not play earlier that season.

Huddle Up: Keep in mind the one loss came against the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl a year ago, but that certainly didn't hamper Brady's stat line as he threw for a career postseason-high 505 yards while completing 28-of-48 attempts for three TDs and no interceptions.

  • Posted: 1/27/2019 11:29am ET

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady said Sunday, Jan. 27, there's 'zero' chance Super Bowl LIII will be his last game.

Huddle Up: When you complete 64-of-90 passes for 691 yards and two touchdowns and aren't sacked in your two biggest games (the AFC playoffs) en route to another Super Bowl at age 41, why not come back at give it a whirl at 42 or 43?

  • Posted: 1/22/2019 9:08am ET

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady could retire if the Patriots win Super Bowl LIII.

Huddle Up: Of course, we've been saying this for the past five years or so, but with time marching on, it's inevitably growing closer to coming true.

  • Posted: 1/20/2019 7:45pm ET

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady completed 30 of his 46 passes for 348 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions in a 37-31 win over the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game Sunday, Jan. 20.

Huddle Up: It wasn't the prettiest game of Brady's playoff career, and he had a third in interception that would have ended the game wiped out by a penalty. Still, he made enough big throws to put New England back in the Super Bowl, and he will try to add his incredible legacy in a couple of weeks.

  • Posted: 1/19/2019 4:41pm ET

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady has averaged 251.7 passing yards and thrown eight touchdowns and eight interceptions in seven career postseason road contests.

Huddle Up: Those numbers don't take into account weather, but tomorrow night's game is supposed to be brutally cold. The Patriots could be focused on running the ball in order to limit mistakes and keep Patrick Mahomes and company off the field. Either way, the weather and the road playoff history don't bode well for Brady.

  • Posted: 1/17/2019 10:02am ET

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady is 24-4 playing in sub-30-degree weather and 5-1 when the temperature is below 20 degrees. An arctic cold front in expected Sunday, Jan. 20, in Kansas City, Mo., where the Patriots will face the Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game.

Huddle Up: Brady threw for 340 yards and a TD and ran for another score when the Pats outlasted the Chiefs 43-40 in Week 6. But that was a home game, and the Chiefs' underrated defense allows an average of 17.2 fewer points at home than on the road, so that's perhaps the biggest reason to temper your expectations for a big Brady statistical outing Sunday at Arrowhead.

  • Posted: 1/13/2019 2:23pm ET

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady went 34-for-44 for 343 yards and one touchdown against the Los Angeles Chargers in the Divisional Round playoff game.

Huddle Up: Brady had some troubles during the second half of the season but has played well in the last two games. He should be part of a high-scoring game next week and can be a No. 1 option in playoff fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 12/30/2018 1:32pm ET

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady went 24-for-33 for 250 yards and four touchdowns against the New York Jets in Week 17.

Huddle Up: Brady has been inconsistent over the last month but is entering the playoffs after playing one of his better games of the season. He likely will be facing a tough defense in the Divisional Round of the playoffs but can be still be a starting fantasy option.

  • Posted: 12/26/2018 5:18pm ET

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady revealed Wednesday, Dec. 26, that he plans on returning next season. 'I have goals to not only play next year, but beyond that,' Brady said in a radio interview. 'I'm going to try to do it as best I possibly can. I'm going to give it everything I have, like I always have.'

Huddle Up: Even at age 41, Brady isn't ready to hang up the cleats just yet. He very well could go down as the greatest quarterback in the history of the game but this season has actually seen the future Hall-of-Famer's productivity dip a bit in 2018 -- he's churned out his lowest passer rating (95.4) and most interceptions (11) since 2013. Regardless, Brady will remain a higher-end QB1 going into next year.

  • Posted: 12/23/2018 2:36pm ET

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady went 13-for-24 for 126 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions against the Buffalo Bills in Week 16.

Huddle Up: Brady has been held to one touchdown in three of the last four games and has three interceptions in the last two games. He played well against the New York Jets in their last matchup and can still be a No. 1 fantasy quarterback despite his recent play.

  • Posted: 12/16/2018 6:58pm ET

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady completed 25-of-36 passes for 279 yards, one touchdown and one interception in the Week 15 road loss against the Pittsburgh Steelers as the Pats fell to 3-5 in their eight road games this season.

Huddle Up: Brady and the Patriots have struggled on the road, so it's a good thing they'll be at home for the remainder of the regular season. He has passed for 1,837 yards, 12 touchdowns and six interceptions across six home outings in 2018. New England wraps up the regular season with two games in Foxboro against the Bills and Jets.

  • Posted: 12/9/2018 1:04pm ET

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady went 27-for-43 for 358 yards and three touchdowns against the Miami Dolphins in Week 14.

Huddle Up: Brady has thrown for at least 300 yards in consecutive games and has six touchdowns in the last three games. He has played well against the Pittsburgh Steelers in the past and should be a starting option in all leagues next week.

  • Posted: 12/6/2018 1:37pm ET

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady (knee) fully participated in practice Thursday, Dec. 6, and has been removed from the injury report for Week 14.

Huddle Up: Brady should be considered a No. 1 quarterback in all leagues despite his recent quiet play.

  • Posted: 12/5/2018 3:05pm ET

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady (knee) was limited during practice Wednesday, Dec. 5.

Huddle Up: Brady has been on the injury report for the last few weeks but is in no danger of missing the Week 14 game. He can be considered a No. 1 quarterback in all leagues this week.

  • Posted: 12/2/2018 7:21pm ET

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady completed 24-of-32 passes for 311 yards, one touchdown and one interception in Week 13 against the Minnesota Vikings.

Huddle Up: Brady recorded his first 300-yard game since Oct. 29 in Buffalo, and first in front of the home folks since Oct. 14. It wasn't a great fantasy line, but the 300-yard mark likely netted some bonus points. He still has just one multi-TD performance across his past five outings. Next up is a trip to Miami in Week 14.

  • Posted: 11/30/2018 1:05pm ET

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady (knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 30, and is not on the injury report for Week 13.

Huddle Up: Brady continues to be one of the top quarterbacks in the NFL and should be a weekly starting option for fantasy owners.

  • Posted: 11/29/2018 1:33pm ET

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady (knee) was limited during practice Thursday, Nov. 29.

Huddle Up: Brady should be ready to play in the Week 13 game even though he has been limited the last two days. He is still one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL and should be a starting option in all leagues.

  • Posted: 11/28/2018 3:05pm ET

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady (knee) was limited during practice Wednesday, Nov. 28.

Huddle Up: Brady should be fine for the Week 13 game and bounced back with a good performance last week after several disappointing games. He will be facing a solid Minnesota Vikings defense but can still be a No. 1 quarterback in all leagues.

  • Posted: 11/25/2018 5:20pm ET

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady completed 20-of-31 passes for 283 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 12 against the New York Jets.

Huddle Up: Brady had a multi-touchdown game for the first time in four outings. It likely helped that the run game was very effective again. He'll look to keep up the good work in Week 13 in an intriguing matchup against the Minnesota Vikings.

  • Posted: 11/24/2018 10:54am ET

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady (illness, knee) is traveling with the team for their Week 12 game, according to a source.

Huddle Up: Brady should be ready to play against the New York Jets, but owners can check the inactive list to make sure. He has been held to only one touchdown in the last three games but should still be considered a No. 1 fantasy quarterback in all leagues.

  • Posted: 11/24/2018 6:58am ET

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady (knee, illness) will start Week 12's game against the New York Jets, even though he was listed as questionable on the injury report.

Huddle Up: Brady's availability for this game was never in serious doubt, despite the fact that he logged two limited practice sessions earlier this week and missed practice altogether Friday, Nov. 23. He should continue to be viewed as a QB1 in all fantasy formats even though he has thrown just one touchdown pass in the last three games.

  • Posted: 11/23/2018 11:25pm ET

Updating a previous report, New England Patriots QB Tom Brady (knee, illness) did not practice Friday, Nov. 23, due to an illness, which is in addition to the knee problem he's been dealing with this week.

Huddle Up: If I had a nickel for every time Brady was listed on the injury report and played I would have many, many nickels. There's almost no chance Brady won't suit up Sunday against the hapless Jets despite his questionable designation. Keep him locked in as a QB1.

  • Posted: 11/23/2018 9:14am ET

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady (knee) was not present at the start of practice Friday, Nov. 23.

Huddle Up: Brady reportedly tweaked his knee in the Week 10 loss to the Titans, and it's concerning that's he's unable to practice two days before a game coming off a bye week -- his first missed practice of the season. But Brady doesn't need reps to play and there's been no indication that his status for Sunday is in doubt.

  • Posted: 11/22/2018 11:43am ET

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady (knee) was limited during practice Thursday, Nov. 22. The Patriots did not hold a practice Thursday, so this is an estimation.

Huddle Up: Brady should be ready to play in the Week 12 game even though he was added to the injury report this week. He has been held to only one touchdown in his last three games but should still be considered a No. 1 fantasy quarterback in all leagues.

  • Posted: 11/21/2018 2:17pm ET

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady (knee) was listed as a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Nov. 21.

Huddle Up: Brady was likely taking it easy with a mid-week practice before a holiday, but we'll circle back around and know more on Friday when the official injury designations are revealed. There is no reason to believe he is in danger of missing the Week 12 game with the New York Jets.

  • Posted: 11/11/2018 4:22pm ET

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady completed 21-of-41 passes for 254 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions in the Week 10 game against the Tennessee Titans.

Huddle Up: It was a disappointing day all around for the New England Patriots, as they mustered just 10 points in a rare blowout loss. Brady and the Patriots are on a bye in Week 11, so they'll have two weeks to regroup.

  • Posted: 11/6/2018 6:57am ET

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady told NBCSports's Peter King after the game Sunday, Nov. 4, he fully intends to be playing in 2022, which is the next time he would face the Green Bay Packers in the regular season.

Huddle Up: Brady is showing little signs of slowing down, but the shaky parts around him have contributed to him being the No. 9 overall quarterback in traditional leagues. Four of the quarterbacks ahead of him have played one fewer game than him as well. He spent half the season without Julian Edelman and Josh Gordon, and he'll get Rob Gronkowski back. Brady may not end as a top-four QB he was drafted as, but he should still be a reliable weekly option.

  • Posted: 11/4/2018 8:37pm ET

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady completed 22-of-35 passes for 294 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions in the Week 9 game against the Green Bay Packers.

Huddle Up: Brady had an OK night, but just missed those 300-yard bonuses and had only the one score for fantasy owners. He was missing Rob Gronkowski and Sony Michel, but still did all right statistically. That's two regular games in a row, however. He'll look to get back on track in Week 10 against the Tennessee Titans, but as long as the team is winning it's doubtful the offense will change much.

  • Posted: 10/29/2018 8:48pm ET

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady completed 29-of-45 passes for 324 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions in the Week 8 game against the Buffalo Bills on Monday, Oct. 29. He did post eight yards rushing, moving to 997 yards for his NFL career.

Huddle Up: Brady and the Patriots weren't hitting on all cylinders for whatever reason, as the Bills defense did a good job containing them. Still, TB12 went over 300 yards for fantasy owners, so at least the night wasn't an entire loss. He'll look to bounce back in Week 9 against the Green Bay Packers and Aaron Rodgers on Sunday night.

  • Posted: 10/22/2018 7:06am ET

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady is third in fantasy points among quarterbacks the last three weeks. He is 81-for-114 for 955 yards, seven touchdowns and four picks with two rushing scores.

Huddle Up: The rushing scores might not be an aberration because of the numerous injuries in the backfield. Brady's return from an early slump is in line with Josh Gordon's arrival, and he has shown increased confidence in him with the 50-50 ball Brady completed to him on fourth down. He'll have a poor matchup against the Buffalo Bills this week, though. They're the second-toughest matchup against the position the last five weeks. One thing to keep in mind, though, is the Pats can't run the ball. They may have to run RPOs as rushing attacks. Brady is a high-end QB1 either way.

  • Posted: 10/21/2018 3:01pm ET

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady completed 25-of-36 passes for 277 yards, three touchdowns and one interception in Week 7 against the Chicago Bears.

Huddle Up: Brady has accounted for 10 passing touchdowns and two rushing scores over the past four games while throwing for 274 or more yards in each outing. He continues to defy Father Time and is fantasy elite. The Patriots travel to meet the Bills on Monday Night Football in Week 8.

  • Posted: 10/14/2018 9:32pm ET

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady went 24-of-35 for 340 yards and a touchdown in Week 6 against the Kansas City Chiefs. He added three carries for two yards and another score but committed a fumble.

Huddle Up: The Patriots leaned on the ground game early before the game entered shootout mode in the second half. His TD throw went for 17 yards to Julian Edelman, but it was his 4-yard scoring run up the middle that created the biggest stir, as Kansas City's Breeland Speaks let go of Brady in the pocket - fearing a roughing the passer penalty - and the 41-year-old took advantage. With all of his weapons healthy and getting more comfortable, Brady should perform at an elite QB1 level going forward.

  • Posted: 10/4/2018 8:41pm ET

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady threw the 500th touchdown pass of his career and set an NFL record by throwing a touchdown to 71 different players for his career in a 38-24 win over the Indianapolis Colts in Week 5. He completed 34 of his 44 pass attempts for 341 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions.

Huddle Up: Brady and the Patriots are back on track after the slow start to the year, and his fantasy owners can rest easy going forward.

  • Posted: 9/30/2018 6:44pm ET

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady completed 23 of his 35 passes for 274 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions in a 38-7 win over the Miami Dolphins in Week 4.

Huddle Up: It has been a bit of a slow start for Brady and the New England offense, but he should be able to build on this performance against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 5, especially with Julian Edelman set to return from suspension.

  • Posted: 9/25/2018 11:29am ET

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady was 1-for-9 for 12 yards targeting wide receivers outside the numbers during Weeks 2 and 3.

Huddle Up: Brady is off to a slow start, ranking 20th among fantasy QBs after Week 3, and the lack of an outside receiving threat has been glaring. That's why last week's signing of Josh Gordon shapes up as critical to Brady's -- and the team's -- success going forward.

  • Posted: 9/24/2018 12:01am ET

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady finished 14-of-26 for 133 yards and a touchdown to go along with an interception in Week 3 versus the Detroit Lions.

Huddle Up: The Patriots only had three receivers active, which obviously did little to help his cause. Detroit also enjoyed nearly a 2-to-1 advantage in time of possession in this contest, so Brady was hardly ever on the field either. Better days are likely ahead if and when Josh Gordon works his way into Brady's circle of trust, but it's also a bit concerning it has come to that for New England. Brady should bounce back with a better effort in Week 4 versus the Miami Dolphins.

  • Posted: 9/9/2018 6:30pm ET

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady completed 26-of-39 passes for 277 yards, three touchdowns and one interception in the Week 1 win against the Houston Texans.

Huddle Up: Brady was sacked twice, but he takes a licking and just keeps on ticking. He posted a 102.2 quarterback rating in the win, spreading around TD strikes to Rob Gronkowski, Phillip Dorsett and James White, three players from three different positions. The ageless wonder keeps defying Father Time. He faces a difficult matchup in Week 2 on the road against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

  • Posted: 9/5/2018 11:45am ET

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady said on Wednesday, Sept. 5 that he wants to play until he is 45 years old. '10-year career, that's an amazing career. I think the last eight years of my career have been better than the first 10. So I should just prolong it, and that's what I'm trying to do,' Brady said.

Huddle Up: It's great news for fantasy owners and Patriots fans, bad news for the haters of TB12. He is still playing at a high level and a legit QB1 in fantasy, and he is showing very little signs of slowing down. It's unusual for NFL players over 30 to be productive, so Brady really is a machine.

  • Posted: 8/16/2018 7:00pm ET

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady completed 19 of his 26 passes for 172 yards and two touchdowns against the Philadelphia Eagles in the preseason Thursday, Aug. 16.

Huddle Up: It was a bit of a surprise to see Brady play so much, but it was probably a statement on the part of the Patriots after how last year's Super Bowl ended. Regardless, Brady looks locked and loaded for another year of QB1 production.
